The Gameweek continues with a pair of Premier League clashes featuring sides flirting with the top four placings. Southampton and Spurs get things underway at St Mary’s, with just three points separating them in the table. Later this afternoon, Roberto Martinez returns to South Wales, bringing his in-form Everton side to face Michael Laudrup’s Swansea.

The team news from the South Coast brings a few surprises in both lineups as Mauricio Pochettino and Tim Sherwood ring the changes. The Saints make three alterations to the side that won a point at Newcastle as Danny Fox, Adam Lallana and Morgan Schneiderlin are drafted in at the expense of Luke Shaw, James Ward-Prowse and Pablo Osvaldo; Shaw’s absence is reportedly due to illness.

Spurs make no less than six changes to the lineup that was routed by Liverpool, as Sherwood hands a first league start to Emmanuel Adebayor and recalls Christian Eriksen to his midfield. Danny Rose returns at left-back, with Vlad Chiriches also starting in defence, whilst in the wide roles, Gylfi Sigurdsson makes a return and Erik Lamela is on the opposite flank in what appears to be an attacking 4-4-2.

Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is open to soak up your real-time reactions from this match and today’s late kick-off at Swansea.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Keep in mind I didn't watch the Everton match..but how confident is everybody in:

    1) Lukaku
    2) Ravel
    3) Howard

You watched the game then! It's a joke how little they pass to him. Mirallas is trying to prove himself too much I think. Same with Deulofeu when he was playing.

      1) Losing confidence quickly. Everton's midfield rarely seems to release him when he is making a good run or in space. I think he needs very good chances to score and teams are too wise to him for this to happen regularly.
      2) Losing confidence quickly. An excellent player, but in a team that simply doesn't score enough goals and he isn't in the mix enough. If I had the spare transfers I would ship for Sterling/Januzaj.
      3) Very confident. Was very unlucky with his conceded goal today (a deflection from an off target shot). Everton's defence looks very solid.

yeah I think I was knee jerking a bit on Howard..he's solid and gets save points at least on days when he loses his CS..

but yeah losing confidence quickly in 1 and 2. will definitely hold for now, but they could be on the chopping block (especially 2) once the WC rolls around

Delighted with my hit for Flanagan to Debuchy.

Liverpool have been conceding for fun, so was pretty confident of this hit. Also, was pretty sure Flanagan will be given a breather by being subbed off before 60'

One shouldn't be afraid of taking hits especially if you plan to bring in the highest scoring players.

    Krul
    Rafael, Coleman, Mertesacker
    Ramsey, Silva, Ravel, Hazard
    Remy, Rooney, Suarez

    subs: Harper, Clyne, Brunt, Rosenior
    1 FT, 1.7 ITB

Players score BPS points based on the following statistics (one point for each unless otherwise stated):

      Playing in a game
      Playing over 60 minutes
      Scoring goals
      Goalkeepers and defenders (4 points)
      Midfielders (6 points)
      Fowards (8 points)
      Assists (3 points)
Goalkeepers and defenders keeping a clean sheet (4 points)
      Saving a penalty (5 points)
      For every 3 saves
For every 3 open play crosses
Creating a big chance (a chance where the receiving player should score)
For every 8 clearances, blocks and interceptions (total)
      For every 8 recoveries
      Providing 3 key passes
      Making 3 successful tackles (net*)
Scoring the goal that wins a match
Pass Completion (after making at least 30 passes)
      70% completion (1 point)
      80% completion (2 points)
      90% completion (3 points)

*Net successful tackles is the total of all successful tackles minus any unsuccessful tackles. Players will not be awarded negative BPS points for this statistic.

Players lose BPS points based on the following statistics (one point for each unless otherwise stated):

      Conceding a penalty
      Missing a penalty (-2 points)
      Yellow cards
      Red cards (-3 points)
      Own goals (-2 points)
      Missing a big chance
Making an error which leads to a goal
Every 2 errors leading to an attempt at goal
      Being tackled 3 times
      Conceding 2 fouls
      Being caught offside 3 times
Missing the target with 3 shots

Data is supplied by Opta and once it has been marked as final will not be changed. We will not enter into discussion around any of the statistics used to calculate this score for any individual match.

Think i'll captain Walcott for WHU and Suarez for Chelsea

    Anyone else with me?

Was first considering Silva for the second but obviously he's not gonna start so i guess there is no need for risks

Why would you ditch Lukaku with his upcoming fixtures?

For Negredo. City fixtures aren't to shabby either and I have no city cover and already have Coleman.

Will be stuck between a rock and a hard place during Monday's game. As a Chelsea fan I'll be hoping for a win, preferable by a couple of goals as well as keeping the Gunners at bay. But as a FPL player, I'll be hoping for some indication as to whether or not Ramsey > Walcott will be worth a hit before Theo's price rise.

I went for Silva as I have ramsey & Ozil with no City cover.

Will eventually change ozil to theo with a FT

Very close call. Both have excellent fixtures.

      Silva for 6 and 7's
      Walcott for 2's and 12's

      Depends on other cover imo

Knew I should have taken a hit for Vorm to Mannone. Had to play Marshall so lost 4 points right there.

As a Gabbidon and Oviedo owner I need all my points! 🙁
