Steven Gerrard could be set to return for Liverpool’s clash with Hull. Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud are ruled out for Arsenal, while Theo Walcott is amongst a number of players to be assessed. Christian Benteke and Ron Vlaar are back in training for Villa. James Collins and James Tomkins are likely to miss out for West Ham’s trip to Fulham. Martin Demichelis is still sidelined for City, Mauricio Pochettino is still uncertain of Artur Boruc’s comeback date as the Saints welcome Chelsea to St Mary’s:

Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud and Kieran Gibbs have all been ruled out of Arsenal’s home game against Cardiff in Arsene Wenger’s early morning press conference. The trio join Aaron Ramsey on the sidelines, while Theo Walcott, Tomas Rosicky, Thomas Vermaelen, Jack Wilshere and Nacho Monreal are all to beassessed today.

Brendan Rodgers has revealed Steven Gerrard is back in training and “will see how he is” for tomorrow’s match with Hull. Joe Allen is sidelined for the Reds, whilst Mamadou Sakho is also likely to miss out as Rodgers awaits scan results on the hamstring injury that forced him out of Sunday’s game at Chelsea.

Christian Benteke and Ron Vlaar are back in training ahead of Villa’s crucial trip to Sunderland. Paul Lambert is optimistic over their availability against the Black Cats and confirmed both “look ok”, though will continue to be assessed over the next 24 hours.

West Ham’s injury woes are showing little sign of abating ahead of a trip to Fulham. James Collins and James Tomkins are almost certainly out of the showdown, whilst further up the pitch, Ravel Morrison is also looking unlikely to travel, according to the club’s official website.

Martin Demichelis remains on the sidelines for City, whilst Stevan Jovetic is also ruled out yet again along with Sergio Aguero and Micah Richards as Manuel Pellegrini’s side roll up to the Liberty. Joe Hart is available despite suffering a facial injury against Palace at the weekend.

Shane Long has returned to training ahead of West Brom’s home clash with Newcastle. The forward is expected to recover from a calf complaint, though Victor Anichebe and Chris Brunt remain doubts – the latter is hoping to train this morning. The Baggies have Nicolas Anelka available for selection as the FA investigate his goal celebration against West Ham last weekend.

Marko Arnautovic is expected to recover from illness in time for Stoke’s home game with Everton. Glenn Whelan and Marc Wilson return from one-match suspensions but Andy Wilkinson is out with a heel problem. For the Toffees, Sylvain Distin is expected to shake off a minor hamstring problem sustained against Southampton last weekend – a relief for Roberto Martinez, with Phil Jagielka already ruled out.

Pablo Osvaldo remains a doubt for Southampton’s home game with Chelsea after picking up a leg knock against Newcastle. Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino has also conceded there “is no definite timeline” as to when Artur Boruc will return from a hand injury.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

    My conundrum:

Vlaar - been injured for ages now, apparently he is back in training, but should be unlikely to start
    Silva - suspended
Ravel - wont play for West Ham ever again
Theo - 'to be assessed', so benched, cameo appearance
    Rooney - injured, may return
Hazard - due a wee rest?
Barkley - always at risk of being rested

    My playing subs this week:

Chester - playing away to Liverpool
Turner - playing away to Arsenal

I just thought id share that with you guys 🙁

    NB - I have 1 FT!!

I've been adviced to hold on to Silva, and save my FT, since i have Bannan to come in for him.

Behind Bannan, i do not have confidence Burner and Chester.
With the number of doubts this week, I can't help but think my transfer is worth more to me today, than 2FT will be next gameweek.

If anyone could provide a reasoning for keeping silva to save the FT, i'd greatly appreciate it.
I realize i might want Silva back before i WC, but isn't that what our transfers are for?

im in a similar boat to you but i have 0.6m. im tempted to keep silva and bring in sterling for morrison. saves me wasting a transfer to bring silva back in.

if i was in your boat, its tough man. silva to yaya seems logical

go for yaya as hes deffo starting and you need certain starters i guess just in case the likes of rooney/terry/hazard/barkley dont play

i hope every goal coleman scores, you remember me lol

yaya doesnt convince me either but he keeps getting jammy points like hazard did. i dont think i will catch him this year. hes taken so many early hits and got a great team value.

his team value is about 3m higher than mine.

                        hes 11000th and im 46k 🙁

Walcott has a little shoulder problem. Rosicky got a little kick on his calf. They are all going to be assessed this morning.

Ramsey three weeks and Ozil has seen a specialist last night, I haven't got a report yet.

We have as well Monreal and Vermaelen who are not certain to be ready because they have come just back from illness

We lost Giroud to an ankle problem at Newcastle

That doesn't actually confirm Giroud is out. I read that as he is going to be assessed.

Soooo many doubts, likelihood of the following players (my assessment in brackets)
    - Distin (100%)
    - Rooney (75%)
    - Hazard (50%)
    - Wally (75%)
    - Januzaj (25%)

Sigh, have a bench of burner (ars), chester (liv) and silva (suspended).......still have my FT and no idea who to remove..probably silva?

    Szczesny
    Coleman - M.Olsson - Ward
    Cabaye - Hazard - Mutch - Walcott
    Lukaku (v) - Rooney - Suarez (c)

    Mannone - Luna - Chester - Silva

    Bank = 0.6
    FT = 0

G2G? Or start Luna ahead of Olsson?

Team is so decimated by injuries that i would need to take an 8 point hit in order to have 11 with my bench acting as an emergency ward.

Cross platform play is not a thing COnsoles do, only very few games have it. I can't imagine you'd fare well against them unless you have 20 fingers.
