With the frantic festive period now behind us, we can finally take stock and assess the statistics over the last few matches. Having last looked at the data in Gameweek 17, we have three sets of matches to investigate – Arsenal’s midfield, Tottenham’s attack and United and City’s frontmen are all placed under the microscope this time around:

anyone who thinks liverpool can challenge for the leauge is mental. even there starting 11s fairly poor, let alone there squad. also putting arsenal bellow third is silly.Open Controls

Would really appreciate a RMT and some transfer suggestions.
Szczesny
Coleman Terry Burner
Hazard (vc) Walcott Cazorla Cabaye
Suarez (c) Lukaku Negredo
4.0 Delph McCartney Moxey
1 FT, 0.0m ITB
Planning to wildcard for GW 24.
A) Cazorla > Silva
B) Negredo > Adebayor
Thanks.Open Controls-
A. And consider downgrade of Terry (to Kosceilny?) in order to sort bench out!
Open Controls-
I fancy Terry to score more than any other Arsenal defender up until GW 24, when I'm wildcarding. Bench not a problem for such a short period of time I reckon.

Nice team.
Definitely A. Carla was a decent punt, but it's just not happening for him. With Ozil coming back, Can risks being marginalized even more.
If Silva is too template, then Eriksson or Oscar might be a decent idea, and could free up enough cash to get Aguero back later in January.Open Controls

Help very appreciated guys
Kompany ----> Ward +
Sterling/Januzaj ------> Eriksen or Lukaku -----> Adebayor
Current team (0.6 in the bank)
Marshall - Mannone
Mert - Coleman - Kompany - Flanagan - Chester
Hazard - Yaya - Walcott - Sterling - Januzaj
Suarez - Lukaku - RooneyOpen Controls -
So naturally, my Cazorla punt went tits up this week. Do we expect him to start against Villa? Not sure whether to stick or twist, he did look fairly threatening at times.
Open Controls-
There are many better midfield options atm
SellOpen Controls -
Same situation here mate, I'm most likely selling him for Silva this week.
Open Controls -

A lot of people seem to have conveniently forgotten Adebeyor went off on a stretcher during the United game...

Recovered according to Scout Tweets.

Who is more likely to rise again (after tonight) till the next GW Sterling or Huddlestone ?Open Controls -
My defence for next week is shockingly good, I don't know who to play and who not to.
Terry (hul)
Koscielny (avl)
Burner (WHU)
Distin (NOR)
G. Johnson (stk)
Expecting Distin and GJ to be fit for the next game 8 days away.
Help me pick 3 starters and 2 bench please lads?Open Controls-
Has to be Terry, Koscielny and Distin if fit.
Open Controls -
Kosc, Distin, Terry I'd say
Open Controls -
Think Distin is off the boil and Everton are without a clean sheet in 6
Open Controls -
I was all set to play GJ over the next few weeks, but his injury status has soured me. I'm getting rid for Koscielny this week.
Play Terry, Kosc and Distin. If your midfield/forwatds are sketchy, then maybe consider a 4-3-3, 4-4-2 with Burner.Open Controls

Sup geezers.
Open Controls -
Evening all!!
a) Mertesacker, Brunt, Rooney
OR
b) Koscielny, Silva, Adebayor (if fit)Open Controls -
One question.
WTF is going on with Ravel? Is he just injured? Is a he a regular when fit? £4.8m is a great price if he is a regular when fit but everyone is shipping out.Open Controls-
All kinds of rumours about him being shipped out somewhere in january, and that he's played his last game for WHU.
But I should not be engaging in such gossip.Open Controls

Negredo >> adebayor OR lukaku?
Open Controls-
Adebayor as he appears to be fit.
Open Controls
-
Cabaye or Lallana ?
Open Controls-
lallana

RVP will be soon next Suarez...be careful!!!!!!!

Average points this season when all starting together:
Kun = 9.125
Silva = 6.25
Yaya = 6.25
GWs 1-3, 7-10, 16Open Controls-
Most of those Yaya points are from his freakish free kicks though. But Silva and Aguero together are an absolute tour de force.
Open Controls -
Quite interesting. Except for being expensive, I see no problem trebling up with these three.
Open Controls-
rather, with Kun on the field, I don't see a reason to have Yaya over or in addition to Silva..
Open Controls-
I agree!
Open Controls -
Why not? It's difficult to find players with that scoring rate. Wether you need to pay 9 or 11, there are only so many to go around.
Open Controls-
a lot of emphasis on one team performing is all..
Open Controls-
Well city generally perform. They do so much more often than any other team, bar Arsenal.
I don't understand your point 🙂Open Controls
-
-
for me it's about differentials. in my ML's Yaya is favourite. only one out of 39 have both. I'm on silva
Open Controls
-
-
-
-
Does this merit getting all three, or demonstrate Silva better value than Yaya once Aguero's back?
Open Controls-
I think the latter..with Kun playing, Yaya loses pens..with Silva playing, Yaya sits deeper.
Open Controls-
can you do this comparison for hazard and oscar please
Open Controls
-
-
Silva is definitely better Than Yaya..good though Yaya is..The problem with Silva is he could easily fit another three injuries in between now and seasons end. Yaya will outscore him because of his missing minutes..

Cabaye or Eriksen as my 4th mid?
Open Controls -
Decent enough SAR team i guess, kills the defense but lovely front 7
Szczesny, Kelvin Davis
Coleman, Ward, Chester, Turner, Baker
Hazard, Walcott, Lallana, Silva, Redmond
Rooney, Suárez, AgüeroOpen Controls-
Nice but I prefer SAS, Rooney needs to get that injury treated
Open Controls -
Marshall, Mannone.
Azpilicueta, Koscielny, Nastasic, Chester, Parr.
Walcott, Hazard Eriksen, Barkley, Januzaj.
Agüero, Suárez, Rooney.Open Controls -
-
Love it.
Open Controls -
If Rooney gets himself fully fit, the SAR front line warrants the cheap defence IMO
Open Controls-
Me too. Def going SAR if I can afford it!

-
Wow just seen Mark's team. Is he really doing that badly?!
Open Controls -
Just reposting the data together.
Average points this season when all started together:
Kun = 9.125
Silva = 6.25
Yaya = 6.25
GWs 1-3, 7-10, 16
-----
Average points this season just starting (independent of others' situations):
Kun = 8.29
Silva = 6.27
Yaya = 6.32
Basically there's no reason to not have (IMO) Kun and Yaya or all 3 when Kun and Silva together are more than adequate and cheaper.
Now this all is held together by fitness, which Yaya has proven he has in spades.Open Controls-
-
-
Highlights Silva as the outstanding option. But says nothing about whether yaya is a better or worse pick than for instance Özil.
Open Controls-
Can do more of a comparison later, but one thing in favor of Ozil is simple team diversification.
Eggs. Basket.
😉Open Controls-
Ok fair enough.
I'm of the persuasion that the old eggs/basket idea is a pretty bad strategy as it's generally better to put your eggs in a quality basket that protects them, than a shite one that doesn't 🙂
Let's just agree to disagree!Open Controls-
well is Gerrard or Ozil a shite basket though 😉
I'm not saying I necessarily disagree in getting all 3, just that other options do exist, fair bit more than exist for strikers for example..so that money (even a million or less) could be used towards a defense for differential 🙂Open Controls

For those who missed it, Frank Lampard was the winner in last DZ night's Champions League of FPL Legends.
RVP only made it to the quarterfinals. CR7 and Gerrard not even nominated.Open Controls-
How are they not even nominated? Ronaldo surely?

Is Calum Chambers (Southampton) worth bringing in?? Played quite a bit recently.
Open Controls -
Don't know if people know this but Kozak of Villa broke a leg today...
Open Controls-
Out for a very long time. If he wasn't rich I'd feel sorry for him.
Open Controls

Do all of Newc's defensive problems mean that it's more likely that Cabaye will play in the hole vs City?
Open Controls -
What does this mean?
Anderson to Watson, no run, another one scoots through to the keeper and this time it's gloved cleanlyOpen Controls-
Dot ball.
Open Controls -
I would say Anderson played a through ball to Watson but he did not make the run so it went through to the keeper who picked it up cleanly but had not done so previously.
Open Controls-
Thanks mate you like Bairstow? Great player and very talented

Only 0.6M away from this team but hopefully I can get some more price rises before I play my WC and some on the week I play it:
Speroni | Marshall
Clyne | Coleman | Koscielny | Vlaar | Chester
Hazard | Walcott | Silva | Eriksen | Mutch
Rooney | Aguero | SuarezOpen Controls -
Team looking alright lads? No wildcard played.. leaving it late
Howard Gazzinga
Coleman Mertesacker Terry Dawson Chester
Walcott Silva Hazard Cabaye Henderson
Jrod Suarez RooneyOpen Controls -
I'd forgotten those heady days of SAS! Was considering WC of:
1. Suarez, Aguero, Adebayor and Gerrard;
Now thinking:
2. Suarez, Sturridge, Aguero and Erikson.
Any thoughts on 1 or 2?Open Controls -
These members articles are misleading. Hate the stats. Nasris look amazing, though watching him you can see he's a waste of space.
