completely depends who else is in your team but in a vacuum i'd say mutch (once fit) and nastasic.

was on United's books as a kid. Very much a deep lying mid, don't see him as a great FPL pick and not sure who he'd displace in the team, he's certainly nowhere near as good as Medel. Maybe replacing Mutch I suppose.

Ole described him as a "quarterback" - ie deep-lying playmaker. Bigged up his set pieces though.

Never really noticed him in he dutch league.

Think he's likely to play alongside Medel in central midfield, with Mutch/Kim slightly ahead.

Wolff Eikrem is attacking midfielder. Have been good in Molde, but i dont think he's ready for PL yet. But Ole trust him so why give a crap about my opinion 😀 If he gets a starting pos for Cardiff he'll deffo be worth keeping an eye with!

Looking at the results so far, there's only really WBA of the away fixtures where I'd have expected a cleansheeet. The way the fixtures have fallen, I don't think they've had much opportunity to show whether they can keep it tight against lower league opposition on the road. Maybe there's still hope of some decent returns yet!

I think it's probably because they are so frequent and similar - because everyone is WC-ing at the same time. They can often be quite lengthy posts with simple questions and the same message is often re-posted by people who perhaps do not contribute very often.

The true test will be when it plays live, until then it's just a glorified spreadsheet using old data to me.

I met these guys and have seen some of this model - the main problem they have is the human input element - the stuff like the probabilities based on team news and injury data that we put into Rate My Team. Without this, any model looking to predict Fantasy points is limited. When you add that the model can improve but then the information being entered has to be of decent quality too.
