    Shaw vs Clyne?

Tricky. Shaw seems more of a goal threat - gets into the box quite a bit for a full back, but he's come off at half time with unexpected injuries a couple of times, and might be a bit of a sicknote. Then again, Clyne has had injury problems himself this season, but is 0.3 cheaper and perhaps is the better crosser of the two. Clyne also has more competition for his place, with Chambers more in favour at Southampton than Shaw's replacement, Danny Fox.

I think that Shaw has got great potential, will improve over time and start picking up some real attacking returns. Clyne is a few years older though, and at a guess I'd say he's less likely to pick up injuries from now on. I think Shaw is the more explosive pick, but it might be safer and more prudent to save some change and go for Clyne.

No way, in fact I've sold him for Giroud.

He flopped at home vs Sunderland and Hull recently. I think Jelavic is more of a threat to his place now than ever before. Not saying he'll be dropped but might only play 60mins

Wow... do you know how many footballers open up about being gay ...not many. The select few who have over the years in England have been bullied into submission or in one such case of Justin Fashanu committing suicide because of it.

However I won't "praise" him anymore...

Because the football world is dinosaur-like in some of its attitudes, and he's therefore been brave in making this public.
        Don't ask, don't tell, don't work!

It's good you think that nobody cares, but I think many on the terraces would definitely have made a big deal about it had he come out whilst still playing. Because of this, the more openly gay players there are, the more likely 'nobody cares' will actually become true.

up to you in the end! go with your gut..I can sell for the same price and I'm upgrading him to Baines myself..if you think you can get more points elsewhere then who is anyone else to judge, know what I mean? we all know as well as anyone else what these players will do in the future..if you end up shifting A and C for B and D and in the end B and D outscore and A and C from here to the end of the season, even by a point, then it was a good move IMO 🙂

assume you meant this post from a couple hours ago?

          "Marshall KDavis
Coleman Kosc Burner ( Chester Ward )
Hazard Silva Lallana Ozil ( Alex Pozuelo )
          Suarez JRod and Adebayor

When Agüero is back I will get him for Adebayor"

          - The Davis combo with other keepers looks a bit weird but I suppose that comes down to whether you want rotating keepers or not which you're clearly fine with not having.
          - I wouldn't have Burner if you have Marshall just so you're not doubling down on Cardiff losing a CS. If you do downgrade Coleman maybe get Clyne in? Wanyama and Boruc due back very soon and their fixtures are great so it could provide nice CS points.
          - is Pozuelo nailed on? It looks like Canas is nailed on and he's the same price as Pozuelo (also on Swansea)
          - do you just have the straight cash available for Ade > Aguero? if so cool!

          🙂

that being said, if you can afford it, you might as well get Jedinak (4.3m) for your 5th mid or even plan to get Mutch in later on (after he's healed up and Ole's plans for the midfield are clearer with his two signings)

Thanks Sinik. I have reached a conclusion for a team when Aguero and Ramsey is back

            Have a look at this

            Marshall KDavis
Baines Kosc Ward Nasty and Burner
Silva Hazard Ramsey ( in for Ozil when he is back ) Lallana and maybe Mutch as 5th
            Aguero Suarez JRod

Will I bring in Baines for Coleman , Nasty for Chester with my WC now
And wait until I bring in aguero and Ramsey in for Özil and Adebayor

            Sound like a plan 😀

doing the same thing with Ozil/Ramsey and Ade/Aguero (think many are)

who are your current keepers and how much do you think you'll have leftover when all is said and done? might be worth doing the Marshall/Mannone combo?

    Szczesny, kelvin Davis

    Sagna/koschielny. Coleman. Chester ward Turner

    Silva. Hazard. Ozil. Gerrard. Mutch

I'm hoping aguero might come on as sub next week against Cardiff for a run around. I'm aware my defence is quite weak but I will always play Coleman and sag/kos and pick from the other 3 who are atleast 1 of them are sure to have a decent fixture.

Bearing in mind the mid is mostly bench fodder, which would you choose?

    a) JRod + 6.8 mid (Henderson?)

    b) Adebayor + 5.3 mid (Barkley?)

    c) Giroud + 4.5 mid (Parker?)

    d) JRod + Barkley + upgrade defence (currently MTurner, Coleman, Kos, Baker, Chester)

    Applebonkers has set me thinking

Him and Roscola have both pointed out poor fixtures for top choice cheapies like Chester and Ward. So essentially for those considering a 3 way rotation what we really need is a 3 way of fairly solid teams with nice home games, if this is the route you want.

    On that basis I present

    Cardiff/Sunderland/Norwich

    It gives

NOR, HUL, AVL, HUL, WBA/avl, FUL/STO, CPL, SUN, WHM, CPL, ful, STO, CAR, new, SWA

Most people already have Mannone and Marshall though. It would be doubling up on Cardiff and Sunderland, not a terrible thing I guess. Also about 1.0 more expensive overall

yeah if you're going Mannone/Marshall it's not ideal amd I'll try and find another, but I'm going Boruc/Davis so it's perfect for me and cheaper than Terry with 2 cheapies

You're in a bit of shit with Roo-Cabaye-Walcott and crap bench, that's true, but other than that this almost is a wild card team and if you would have Roo with your wild card too, I don't quite understand why you don't just ship Walcott out. Do you have free transfers? How many? I think the urgency is Walcott and possibly Rooney. Would take a hit to swap two players out and leave the rest.

    Boruc / Davis
    Coleman / Koscielny / Nastasic / Chester / Ward

Why is there so much hype about JRod? Surely people won't pick him every week and is he really outstanding enough value to justify breaking the 3-4-3 template? Underlying stats the same as a similarly priced Hooper, much worse than Berbatov and far worse than the 7.5+ strikers. He also generally plays behind the front man rather than out and out striker.

I'm lost. Is it just bandwagoning based on recent returns?

I was really tempted by him, until I realised he's that awkward fit you describe who's too good to bench but possibly not good enough to always play.

He's worth going for if you are going to beef up your defence and need to free up cash, but every team I made with him had too strong a front 8 = benching dilemmas. I've downgraded since to Berahino.

not sure he's 100% starter every week. a few games pre his injury he looked a little lost and we were being overrun in midfield so i think against certain teams Rodgers will want more strength in there. may of course play him on the wing in that instance but that still decreases his appeal i think.
