After an unceremonious start to the season, I was ranked a lowly 1.3m After GW9. Injuries, Having RVP(C), Benteke(C) and the injuries to silva, RVP, benteke etc early season hit me hard. Was definitely on the downturn and thought about giving up the season in general.
I was on my way up after RVP started to pick up form but then he got injured again. After 11 green arrows in the last 12 GWs, and 9 Straight greens, I have made steady progress to the 150k mark. Still have Suarez(C), Silva, Ozil and Mert to play. So could well end up on around the 100k mark by the close of this GW.
Been a bit of a roller coaster. Still my luck with a few things hasnt gone my way but its nice to get some form going.
Moral of the story: Keep playing the game and dont buy RVP for 14m

Good runs can be a great remedy for ailing seasons! I've fallen into the 100K realms after starting good. In some ways, I always think the two week international breaks completely throw me off. Happens every year. I hate those breaks. Leave me alone!
yeah that absoutely mauled me. Expected RVP to play after that and Moyes gave no news at all. THen all of a sudden RVP out for...well... still out

Read your story. You still have Boruc to come off the bench and very good players to play. You could be 200k easy by the end of this GW. Dont give up. Its a funny season. But im still aiming for a top 1k finish as ridiculous as it sounds. Have my team nicely set up for the coming fixtures

you've got a solid team with good fixtures. Get rid of theo, fast, and catch a riser like eriksen or lallana (my choice)

I know, unless forced he would only be called into action twice but no point doubling up if you only ever intend to play one of them. Also, the extra .2m is a sticking point.

Just to clear something up....
On my WC and trying to increase TV initially.
Would like welbeck/negredo (just to increase tv then ship before the WC is up)
Example
Bought lukaku at 7.8, now worth 8.8 so the sale value is 8.3m so I've made .5m.
If I sell at 8.3 then get welbeck and he rises .2m I'll make .1m
But if I then sell and bring lukaku back before the WC is over I'll pay 8.8m so ultimately am at a loss...
I realize this post makes no sense as I'm shattered
Sell players you think will flatline, buy players who will rise.
If you have big gains on all your strikers you'll have to seek price growth in other positions

Welbeck, I think, will go up 0.2m so good for raising TV and is in great form.
Only problem is Everton have WBA next week, Welbeck has Chelsea.
Also, I bought Lukaku at 7.4...now he's 8.8m so I can only sell him for 8.1 meaning I can never really buy him back.

Do you guys think my defence is waaay too weak even if they rotate good?
I got a pretty strong midfield and attackers, but this round i feels like it doesnt help cause my opponents got some massive points out of clean sheets and bonus points.
I can manage to get some points of Øzil>Ramsey later, but it is necessary to make changes to upgrade my defence to get some from the big clubs?
Not having Arsenal D or GK is a mistake imo.
Martinez is a breath of fresh air , I love his honesty and sheer simplicity ,
- seems no boundries or complications.
My team is pretty much the same as everyone els bar one or two..
