Gerrard got me 9 points today so I guess I can't complain. The only issue is his 'new role' as of today, Rodgers having told him to play even deeper than Lucas. So no rampaging forward and no direct route to the strikers. Is Gerrard's only attraction set pieces (as he benefitted from today) or does this change significantly damage his FPL prospects?

Sterling had the better game, so deserves to keep his place more tbh, but Rodgers does love Coutinho, its a tough call.
Can't see anything changing the Gerrard - Lucas - Henderson midfield 3.
I suppose if Gerrard is being primed for that 'Quarterback' role then Lucas/Henderson could get dropped.
It depends also on whether its a 4-3-3 with one of SAS wider, or a 4-4-2. In a 4-4-2, it'd be one of Sterling or Hendo dropped, as they are both right sided, while Coutinho's competition for the spot on the left is MosesOpen Controls

Both teams have poor defences and will concede quite often despite good fixtures, am going to give it a few weeks and see how it goes otherwise bringing in a better keeper to rotate.
