The Scoreboard presents the Fantasy Premier League information you need from the day’s matches all on one screen, including the current top five BPS (Bonus Point System) standings from each match (provisional Bonus Point earners are in bold). Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added – all points are provisional until then.

The fact I currently have 7.3m in the bank means I shouldn't panic buy Kolarov tonight, right?
Open Controls -
How many points as autosubs do you have this week?
Only 1 for me.Open Controls -
Bit of a selfish, off-topic post here but anyway.......
I'm going to be honest. I'm a smart guy, usually get A's and I'm hoping to get about 550 points (if not more) in the leaving cert (Irish equivalent to A levels).
When I'm older, whatever it is that I'm doing, I want to work my way to the top. I could go for some university course like medicine of physiotherapy which I know have good salaries (here in Ireland anyway) and let that be that.
However, I'm much more interested with engineering tbh, even though the standard salary is lower, and I feel I'd prefer it.
Basically what I'm asking is should I follow my heart (engineering) or the money (medicine)? The reason I'm asking this is because the deadline for picking our college courses is fast approaching.
Cheers for any replies. 🙂Open Controls-

Too easy. 😉

Engineer.
Open Controls -
as an engineer, i demand you follow your heart 😉
Open Controls -
IMO, if you do what you love, and apply yourself properly to it, you will find a meaningful life.
You'll probably make good money too, since you'll have a passion for your work - but the meaningful life bit will probably grow in significance for you, beyond the money bit.Open Controls -
money

😀
Open Controls

Absolutely heart ... if you're good at and enjoy what you do the money will come later!
Open Controls -
I'm an engineer and I recommend it. They are highly sought after at the moment so you'll get good money (don't worry about that side!)
If you are able to do medicine (extremely tough to get in to) then I'm sure it would be a very rewarding career. Always follow your heart, you'll be stuck in your chosen career for the rest of your life!Open Controls-
this, its a broad church, plus some do alright ........ not me like, but some 😛

Go with your heart mate
I always wanted to be a journo, did loads of work experience and build up contacts. When the time came to doing a post-grad course, I didn't do my journalism qualification. AS a result I'm watching people I was Uni with, but who weren't as good as me have really good careers whilst I scrabble around writing for free mostly.
If your heart is set that much on going into engineering then you have to do IMO. You'll be filled with regret and wonder otherwise.Open Controls -
If you're smart and do well there is still good money to be made in engineering. You might top out under 100k (inflation depending) but will be happier if that's your desire.
Nothing is set in stone, do what you're enthusiastic about now. Doors open for intelligent and grounded people if you change your mind in later life.Open Controls -
if you decide you don't like engineering after having finished it, many financial institutions prefer to hire engineers for their mathematical aptitude
Open Controls-
aye, plenty of engineers in my year took the city route....... fortunes

do what you enjoy. massaging old men's thighs for a slightly higher salary, meh
Open Controls -
As a fellow irish man I couldn't care less!
Open Controls -
If you follow your heart, you'll never be poor. Maybe. I'd lean toward the one would see me getting laid more.
Open Controls-
not engineering ............ this i can guarantee
Open Controls -
Absolutely agree.
Couldn't lend me a tenner, could you Holy?Open Controls -
Absolutely Agree Holy.
Couldn't lend me a tenner could you?Open Controls-
So poor you had to ask him twice. 😉

Go with what you love, in the end you will stick with what you like rather than what will give you the most money.
Its 10 to 15 years before you see a bit of money with medicine - and do you want to work 100 hours a week?Open Controls-
Heard about that actually, ridiculous hours for junior doctors.
Open Controls
-
-
Engineering, much more range in jobs and not as stressful as medicine.
Open Controls -
There is plenty of money to be made in engineering, engineers are still in demand tbh.
I'd say definitely don't do medicine if you're not 100% committed to it as its a very hard life, and not the sort of thing you should be doing to make money, you need a passion for it.
A job like accountancy could be done just to make money and not enjoyed, but not medicine.
If you pick a science to take at Uni then you'll be fine out the other side. If it you had your heart set on drama for example then it might not be great advice to follow your heart due to the very tough job prospects from that, but engineering has great job prospects, and, despite a slightly lower starting salary than medicine, has plenty of room to work your way up and earn money.Open Controls-
well said

Follow the heart for sure. If you're as driven as you describe you'll easily make enough money in Engineering to afford a good lifestyle and you spend too much time working to do a job you don't enjoy.
Open Controls -
Always go with what interests you. We spend so much time at work and I'd hate to be in a position where I'm working just for the money. If you have a passion for your work it will show, and success and the good money should follow.
Late to this, but had to offer a reply pretty much identical to everyone else!
Good luck 🙂Open Controls

What do you think, will Giroud's price rise tonight?
Open Controls -
I really hope moyes was looking at vidal when he was spotted in the crowd
Open Controls -
This week I've learned the hard way to follow my gut. Was set on Lallana and Giroud for Walcott and Rooney but got suckered into Ozil then bought in Adebayor who at least got something.
Open Controls -
Hmm, do I need to wildcard with this?
Krul Marshall
Terry Coleman kosc Davies MOlsson
Hazard Cabaye Silva Barkley Morrison
Suarez Giroud lukaku
Or could just do lukaku to negredo or Barkley to Januzaj/eriksen?Open Controls -

looks like it, skrtel and sakho next gw on recent evidence
Open Controls -
Is was pretty crap yesterday so who knows

baps added
Open Controls -
the old rooney captain suarez vice captain, lukaku first sub trick works better when you don't go out of both cups
Open Controls -
Luk sold by over 10 k today
Normally I would be sad an owner but the more that sell the bigger chance he will slowly become a differential
Ade also losing owners at a steady rateOpen Controls -
I don't think I'm going to make a 5 figure rank this year, let alone a 4 figure one 🙁
Open Controls -
To go alongside Ozil, Hazard & Januzaj....2 of Eriksen/Lallana/Ramsey OR Silva & a cheapy?
Open Controls -
79 points and out of the cup.
The player coming off my opponents bench with the two points he needed to beat me?
JONJO SHELVEY
First time I've REALLY ever hated this game.Open Controls -
*Remembers I only own Ozil*
*Doesn't bother checking BAPs*Open Controls -
a) ozil + adebayor
b) oscar + sturridge
c) silva + giroud + 0.2m
d) ozil + welbeck + 0.6m

Will be interesting in Millionaire Club & Last Man Standing this week.

Think it'll be alot harder to stay in the Millionaire Club this year with over 500k more teams than last season.

Think I will wait until City play to work out a plan.Open Controls -
Quick question

Benteke was so bad he managed to lose 3 of them and finish on 5 😆Open Controls -
