The first of seven Saturday encounters kicks off at the Stadium of Light as Sunderland entertain Southampton this lunchtime.

Following the Wearside encounter, there are five games to focus on at 3pm, with Arsenal and City’s home clashes against Fulham and Cardiff heavily-backed by Fantasy managers. The evening match at Anfield then follows, as Captain Poll favourite Luis Suarez looks to run riot against Villa’s porous backline.

The Black Cats are looking for a fourth straight win on all competitions and, having already beaten City, Chelsea and United at home under Gus Poyet, they’ll fancy their chances of claiming another scalp against Adam Lallana and co.

As always, you can look to our Twitter feed for all the teamsheet news, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom has opened up to cater for your real-time requirements for this game and all of today’s matches.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Yeah but he can't do it every game..his general play is fantastic even if he blanks today, unlike Ozil last week who was shocking on a blank (not intended to put Ozil down btw..just point out what a relative bargain Lallana still is)

Ozil has a much higher number of points per minute to be fair: 0.070 vs 0.060 for Lallana. Almost a full point per game more if they both play 90 minutes every week from now on, which they probably will.

Maybe, but it's not an exact science. Ozil is better than Lallana, but whether he's 2.5 million better is more of an open debate.

Ozil's performances and stats have been declining all season slowly and reached a new low last weekend...hopefully he will pick up again because he's a class player...but not of late. 3 shots in his last four games is poor by Parker's standards let alone a world class player.

Could do. But may as well keep Kos and swap Evra for a Chelsea, City or Spurs defender.

          Take your pick.

If you want to rotate defenders for a 3rd slot, look at Norwich or Cardiff to fit with Ward and Chester and then upgrade Cabaye if you want to go down play 2 + rotate 3 route.

I think the 3 heavy defenders provided better value. If you lose Cabaye there arent many better options in the 8-9M mid range.

Most would probably say to downgrade Evra so you can rotate your 3 cheap defenders each week and to upgrade either Lallana or Cabaye to a City midfielder.

    After 22 mins;
    Sun - Sot

    Shots 0-5
    Shots on target 0-1
    Posession 24.5% - 75.5%
    Passes 66 - 226

No wonder Sunderland fans were pissed

I went the 3.5 at the back route - 2 spots shared byy apzil and kolorov.

With a decent 5th (Ward) I think itll work...
