      If you dropped him for adebayor you could probably upgrade gerrard to silva?

    Oh yeah baby! Spirits are high at Camp Warbles

    Spurs on fire, FPL team on fire.

    After 22 weeks of floundering over 100k im now at 43,028. Respectable. Still plenty of time to chisel my way down to my target of 5k.

    Quick question,

    I am pretty sure I am going to eat four points for one of these combos, which would you do?

    A.) Silva/Brown -> Cabaye/Terry
    B.) Silva/Brown -> Cabaye/Ivanovic (keep .6)
    C.) Silva/Chester -> Cabaye/Ivanovic

              Man City are going to carve open Tottenham. I predict a minimum of 3 goals for City. Cabaye wont be facing West Ham every week. I think Tottenham have been very lucky that opponents have not been putting their chances away, I dont think City will waste too many.

                5 straight road wins, first time since 1960. Spurs have more than luck behind them now mate. Citeh are not the machine on the road they are at home. 2 goals max I see, and I have Aguero. I dont see the need to invest over 20 million in attack in Citeh players in an away to Spurs fixture AT ALL.

                Cabaye has scores against the likes of Everton, Liverpool and ManU as well, two of the three on the road. Its not like he needs to face a bottom 10 side.

                  Tottenham have been attacking well, but their defending is still poor. If you had watched them play crystal palace, you'd probably know what I am talking about. Dawson will be turned inside out is my prediction. Follow your gut anyways, I am following mine 😉

      None with Cabaye in it, seen that he is likely to move to PSG now:

      Agreement exists between the clubs, according to Canal+

      http://www.sport.fr/football/ligue-1-cabaye-au-psg-si-cabella-newcastle-335666.shtm

      Player is willing to move, according to himself:

      http://www.le10sport.com/football/mercato/mercato-psg-cabaye-a-qui-ca-ne-donnerait-pas-envie-de-jouer-au-psg-aujourdhui-128596

      The deal is conditionned by Newcastle first getting Cabella from Montpellier, and the father and the agent of this young player confirmed just today that this deal is happening:

    @Demi, Parm Ajay etc

    What did you make of it today?

    I think Jose has clearly been scouting us. We conceeded 1 goal on the counter and 2 to set-pieces, we have struggled with both all season.

    I think Fletcher should have started ahead of Jones. We're clearly missing Rooney and RvP, as any team would, but there's something else, there's a total lack of ideas in the midfield other than putting endless useless crosses. Heck our 3 best moves in the 2nd half were all down to Hernandez, he got the goal, and played 2 terrific balls, one cross and one to Smalling to cross. But therein lies the issue, Chica should be the one on the end of those, not the guy supplying them

        Plus Moyes' exclusion of Kagawa was rather disappointing, not just from the start but also bringing Smalling on before him.

    Silva to Cabaye for Newcastles 2 good games (nor/SUN) and Citys 2 harder fixtures (tot/CHE)
    Ozil to Silva after Arsenals 2 good fixtures (sou/CPL)
    Sound like a plan?

    That Cabaye transfer rumour on PSG website (see page 9)….

    The last sentence reads like this when translated….
    "Yohann Cabaye indeed would not be convinced that a departure this winter is the best solution for the World Cup."

    Not exactly a ringing endorsement of a potential move ?

      Then again it also says this..
      "In addition, the coach of Newcastle, Alan Pardew said he was not sure he could keep the French midfielder."

    Reflecting on footy as watching film - so with Chelsea fighting for title having played Man U twice, would it be a ply bt Jose to allow Mata to join Man U on loan?

    It would strengthen Man Utd and could be a fantastic move by Chelsea if the Mancs take points off City and Arsenal?

    There seemed a great deal of chatter amongst the suits which Sky kept pointing towards and in fairness Jose's Chelsea dont need Mata, who will not be happy in a World Cup year at the lack of game time.

    Would Jose sanction it?

      1 week punt before wildcard, seems ideal. It's him or Bony, I feel I owe it to JK to get Bony but might let him down and not get him.

    Stupid question maybe but can't quite work it through in my head ..

    I plan on playing my wildcard between GW 23 and GW 24 ..

    What does it mean if I don't play a transfer this week or next?
    i.e. I'll have 2 FT's post GW 24/playing my WC?? Is that good or bad thing??

    Help appreciated!!
