We roll out the next instalment of our weekly article for Members tonight, offering an in-depth statistical analysis of the main captaincy contenders for the set of fixtures ahead. With Luis Suarez topping the Captain Poll, we assess the Everton defence ahead of the Anfield Merseyside derby. We also dig deep into the data of Eden Hazard and Samuel Eto’o ahead of the home game against West Ham, whilst Sergio Aguero and Wayne Rooney’s prospects are also discussed, with the latter now back in full training ahead of Cardiff’s visit on Tuesday evening:

    Gentlemen,

    Play two of:

    Kolarov (tot)
    Sagna (sou)

    Thanks!

Is this WC team good enough?

    Szczney-Mannone

    Coleman-Vlaar-Mariappa-Alonso-JT

With Coleman falling tonight and likely again tomorrow, do you think I might be able to get him back at close to same price as my 6.3 selling price in a week or so?

Potentially 'noob' question so apologies in advance...

If a player loses 0.1 in value do you always lose 0.1 off your sell price?

I currently have Coleman sell price at 6.3, will it go down to 6.2 or not? If not, why?

    Cheers

Look up -- I bought at 5.8 and he is at 6.8 so tonight I can sell him at 6.3; tomorrow he will be at 6.7 so I can sell at 6.2 -- every 0.2m drop is a -0.1 in selling price.

I can't even remember how to work this out! I got him GW16 but how do I know how much I purchased him for since he rose from 5.8 to 6 between GW15 and GW16

No...not always. It does work like that when he drops below your original buying price, but it continues with the 0.1 drop in sell price for every actual 0.2 of real drop until you get to your original cost. It basically wipes out your gains slowly.

Thanks mate that makes sense, how do I work out the original cost I bought him at? I transferred him in for GW16 so it could have been either 5.8, 5.9 or 6.0

Go to the Transfers page for your team, but instead of leaving it in "Pitch View" switch it to Data View (click tabs at the top just above your GK's). Then you can see PP which is Price Paid for each player. You can track your drops this way and therefore not be so panicky with the transfers. Cheers.

Too many transfers determined by the "need" to save 0.1m, that just really aren't worth the points hit.

He's brought him in for a reason. Lukaku has looked knackered, and there's no way he's going to pair them together.

Lukaku is still nailed on starter. Traore might get few sub appearances in league games and start in cup.

    Lardy

You say Gerrard won't play as deep this week but if both Lucas and Allen are out he has to play deep, they have nobody else. Fingers crossed for Allen

I'm not gloating (per say) and I'm fully aware that it is 100% luck, but I'm so glad I dropped Coleman when on my WC prior to GW22, one of the few punty moves to actually come off

Nope, Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea away, Arsenal, Man City and Man Utd home all to come. I'm happy settling my account and cashing in the profit I made from GW1.

Yes he'll definitely get some more attacking points from now until the end of the season, but in my opinion he won't get enough to justify keeping him when i could spend the money elsewhere. His injury is just the icing on the cake

You might change your mind on that if he comes back next week and continues as he was...
