The 4th midfielder situation
It seems most high value teams are set up with 3 big hitters, a mid priced mid and a budget bench player. The problem here though is that there are so many mid priced assets vying for our attention.
Who would you go for and why? or are you going with more than one mid priced midfielder, and if so where are you spending the cash?Open Controls-

Well with blank GW's on the way there are a few mids who are becoming options again which adds to the main protagonists. There are several viable contenders for the 4th midfield slot such as Eriksen, Mirrales, HBA, Snoddy, and Lallana just to name a few.

If you can get the rest of the team settled with nailed on players, then you can use you're FT to bring in the mid-priced midfielder with the vest fixture. Then you can keep your 3 big hitters(assuming we're speaking of a high TV team.

So what do people make of Mata's performance last night?
A decent but not amazing performance from an FPL perspective, but it was at home to Cardiff so anything less would be disappointing.
They've got one outstanding fixture before the blank(s) so I'll wait a bit longer before jumping on board I think and wait till I see some consistencyOpen Controls-
He did ok - there is clearly work to do to get others on his wavelength, and we won't know how it will fully work until we see him, Rooney and Januzaj in the same team behind RVP.

I decided it was a good idea to do Ozil to Mata last night, which I am happy with.
For some reason I also did Janusjaz -> Puncheon for -4. Looking at my team today I could have benched Jan and will probably bench Puncheon anyway so am feeling a bit stupid for having done a completely unnecessary hit.
