I'm not touching this Dzeko bandwagon with a bargepole.
Negredo/Jovetic while Aguero is injured or no City striker for me. It's as simple as that!
See how many chances he had? His shots:shots on target ratio says it all.
Jovetic had 1 shot and scored with it.Open ControlsSame here.
Open ControlsNot this week anyway.
Open Controls
I'm also worried Jovetic will get more gametime now that he's finally fit. Think I'll go Aguero RVP Sturridge.
Open ControlsHe was very poor last night despite a goal. So many missed chances!
Open ControlsI am tempted to say that Suarez is not much better. 😉
Open ControlsSuarez can score from nothing/very little though (like last night). Dzeko just isn't that good

Just realized... Chinese New Year is Year of the Horse..
Year of the Horse = Andy Carroll.
Sporting may be onto something here...Open ControlsMannone Marshall
Kolarov Koscielny Ward Olsson Chester
Lallana Mata Hazard Eriksen Delph
Suarez Sturridge Aguero
considering the aguero problem i will have to keep kolarov and chester for another gw i think
should i do:
a) mata ----> silva/yaya and aguero ----> rooney for -4
b) aguero ----> rooney
c) aguero ----> dzeko
d) aguero ----> negredoOpen ControlsHi Guys,
Sorry if this has already been asked a million times - but any news on Aguero? serious headache if he's out!Open ControlsSee twitter feed
Open ControlsNothing concrete. Doesn't look like a long lay-off but not many are predicting he'll play on Monday.
Open ControlsI'm tempted to bench. Leaking points elsewhere e.g. defence could do with a Chelsea playuer not a city player (Kolorov)
Open Controls
Rooney and Johnson
or
Adebayor/Dzeko and Cazorla
Rest of team (on WC)

Tough transfer choice this week all options are playing weak or relatively weak opposition it would seem.
Aguero >
A STURRIDGE 9.4m
vs wba
no blank coming up
on form
rising tonight, chance for a double rise
ranked 2nd (of these 5 strikers) on Next 6 Scout Ticker
B RVP 13.6m
vs stk – third worst defensive record this season (1st Ful & 2nd Car)
blank GW28 but price relatively static so can easily shift out for that week.
Other fixtures – stk, FUL, ars, cpl, BLANK, wba
returning from injury - but Mata, Roo, RVP combo gives team a motivational boost
low casual ownership
doubt enough ppl will have funds to create a double rise.
very expensive affects rest of team
C ADEBAYOR 7.8m
vs hul – midtable defensively (29 goals vs Fulhams 50)
no blank
on form
frustrating historically to own very much a short bursts of form player - has his run ended yet?
relatively cheap
less casual option hence chances of price rises low after tonight
ranked 3rd (of these 5 strikers) on Next 6 Scout Ticker
D GIROUD 8.7m
vs CPL
on form
tough fixtures to come
rarely explosive
only player on this list at home this GW
as per Adebayor with price rise chances
E JRod 6.3
vs ful - Fulham have shipped more goals than any other team by a long stretch
super cheap allowing funds to be shifted elsewhere.
2nd most popular transfer today - probably due to price as people try and squeeze in RVP, might slow tomorrow with release of Aguero funds.
Ranked top for next 6 fixtures on FFS ticker
All the options except RVP allow potentially a City double up in midfield e.g. Yaya & Silva/Navas
Could also probably add Benteke 8.7m to the list as a good differential pickOpen ControlsExcellent work! I like the fact that my three strikers are at the top, here! 😉
Open Controls
I'm pretty set on Mannone, and I realize Marshall rotates better with him, but Adrian at 4.3M is seriously tempting... what GK pairing would you have if you WCed this GW?
Open Controlsi am WCing now and am on Mannone Adrian
Open ControlsI think Adrian rotates better anyway, one more home game than the Marshall rotation and pretty much similar other than that.
Open ControlsMannone looks like the real deal. Adrian as well, but I don't know how nailed on he is. The way he has played, he should be!

Best striker to own for gameweek 25? (Other than Suarez and Persie)
Open ControlsWCarders how about going in with Ade Suaz Studge this week and keeping enough dosh to do Studge -> Roo/Rvp next week
Open ControlsOr go GRU and Gru -> Roo next week
Open ControlsI don't like to plan transfers. Isn't RVP versus Stoke a great matchup? I'd rather have RVP versus stk than Sturr vs wba.
Open Controls
If Kun out, which pair is better:
A. Mata + Eriksen + Negredo
B. Mata + Puncheon + RVP
C. Caz + Puncheon + RVP
?Open ControlsBoruc
Kosc Ward Burner
Hazard Ozil Mata HBA
Aguero* JRod Suarez
Foster, Pozuelo, Coleman*, Chester* + 2.3m banked.
Aguero >
a) Sturridge
b) Adebayor
c) RVP
d) Negredo
Or any other ideas please? Thanks.Open ControlsB or C. Depends how much you're willing to spend!
Open ControlsCheers Don, always appreciated. Most of ML have Ade already so RVP would be a differential, just that already have Mata and not sure if United's strong enough to warrant doubling up on em yet, esp 23m of the budget.
Open ControlsNo problemos mate. Fair point, understand the concern. I'm trying to find a way to get RVP in myself, but it's not easy considering his price. The positive about Man Utd is they're only have CL and PL, and Moyes doesn't seem to have the choice of resting his best players, they need to grab that fourth place. Not a Man Utd fan, so I'd ask someone that know the situation better.
Open Controls
If I knew which City forward would be most likely to play, I would pick him hands down. Unfortunately I dont and would opt for the more secure option of Ade

Rooney and Johnson
or
Adebayor/Dzeko and CazorlaOpen ControlsIs it worth upgrading Hudson in case Coleman doesn't play, would have 4.4m to spend - a West Ham defender, or someone to rotate with Ward? Otherwise I'm faced with Ward (ars)!
1FT. 0.5m
Chesney
Kocielny / Terry / Coleman*
Hazard / Johnson / Lallana / Silva
Suarez (c) / Aguero* / Sturridge
Davis; Noone / Hudson / WardOpen ControlsNo way, don't think so. Pelle doesn't strike me as that type of coach.
Open Controls
got to love ANOTHER Yaya pen! 😆
Open ControlsThe more I look at Benteke the more I'm tempted, good fixtures, good form, differential, lowish price.
Open ControlsSo...
Who's the popular pick to replace aguero?
I'm between sticking with City (Djecko/Neg) or going Man U (rvp/Roon)
Suarez/Rvp/Sturridge would be fun...Open ControlsI think Jovetic will replace Aguero, with Dzeko and Negredo rotating.
I'd go with the United player. Probably RVP if you aren't averse to tacking the hit.
Also, if you get RVP, it is only one transfer away to get Aguero if you want him back when fit.Open Controls
Ok lets say worst case scenario and aguero is out for 2-4 GWs so you have to transfer him out. Who would you rather have Yaya and Rooney or Mata and Negredo? Heres how my analysis goes
Case for Yaya and Rooney:
1) I'd feel more comfortable with Yaya and Rooney as captain options. I wouldn't feel comfortable captaining Mata yet and for Negredo, with Jovetic back, he could be rotated with Dzeko.
2) Yaya is on pens now with Aguero out
Case for Negredo and Mata:
1) I am not sure how Rooney would be affected by Mata position-wise. Would he play behind RVP and Mata on the wing or would utd play 4-4-2 with Mata behind RVP and Rooney? I feel Moyes will be experimenting which could affect Rooney's points.
2) Rooney not on pens anymore since RVP is back
3) City are lethal infront of goal (they scored 5 away in WHL for god's sake) and have delicious fixtures the next 10 excluding the blank GW,Arsenal and Chelsea games which they will still score in. You'd expect strikers to get more goals/points than midfielders (Negredo vs Yaya) especially when the scoreline is huge.
Did I miss anything? Any thoughts? Help appreciated.Open ControlsGood replacement for Coleman? Already have mertesacker
Open Controls£9 accumulator returned £228 last night. Thiago's 93rd minute winner for Bayern sealed the win 😎
