The title summons up imagery of Granville straddling me at the Potter’s wheel, lovingly helping to craft a clay creation as we unite to sculpt out a Van Persie bust – in true Lionel Ritchie’s “Hello†style.

That’s probably lost approximately half of our potential audience who are too young to recall the analogy. The other half are likely to be repelled by the image of Granville and I caught in a Swayze/Moore-like clinch.

If you’re part of the minority still sticking around, curious to hear how the above nonsense translates into a podcast, then listen up. You’ll catch the plenty of Wildcard ribbing, a tale of captain calamity exposed by this week’s community questions and the usual array of regulars.

Prepare to be haunted via this link or exorcise your right to stream via the handy player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Nastasic to Collins or McCartney? Do we reckon Collins will keep his CB spot when Reid is back? Need a Ham defender and cant afford Demel if I want to do Aguero -> RVP

I have just finished analysing the majority of strikers. I have stats from beginning of season until now, which include:

    points per game
    points per million per game
    overall points
    points over last 5 weeks
points per million for last 5 weeks

My stats may vary slightly from other people's stats due to me using my sell price for a few players.

I am happy to share this knowledge so post your questions if you have anything you want to know.

I never bothered with points per minute as I think points per game provides what I need to know.

5 best for points per game are:

          Suarez
          Aguero
          Sturridge
          Rooney
          Adebayor

RVP is 35th on list for points per million per game, 6th for points per game. Obviously there is no point looking at his stats over last 5 games as this was his first game back, although if you take his points per game for the last 5 matches, he is on the same as Suarez with 9 PPG.

This is why you must seek the wisdom of The Enlightener......I made the argument that two keepers is overkill a week or two ago. I have Mannone and some no-name 3.9 tosser who doesn't play. Been quite happy with that, and the extra funds it has freed up! 🙂

    Koscielny • Azpilicueta • Ward • Olsson • Chester

    Yaya • Hazard • Mata • Lallana • Noone

    RVP • Suárez • Adebayor

    +0.2M

Can afford Kolarov over Azpi, buuuuut its Kolarov and he has a blank. May look to get him for the double.

Sorry for repost no reply last time.

Is my team lined up correctly for this week? I don't like playing my attackers against my defence...

    Adrian(SWA)
    Saylor(SUN), Evans(stk), Shaw(ful)
    AJ(new), Lallana(ful), Hazard(MCI), Mata(stk)
    RVP(stk), Bony(whm) Suarez(wba)

    Mannone(new), Bertrand(eve), Pozuelo(whm), Ward(ars) 1ft 3.1itb

Villa seem better away from home and Everton are without strikers due to injuries? Should I play Bertrand ahead of Saylor? Mannone over Adrian?

if aguero is to be out for a while i think i'd like RVP for the Fulham game. save transfer this week, get rvp next week for free ( can take a aguero drop without affecting sell price). then get aguero back again as soon as he's fit

    Livermore recalled by Spurs. Strange.

*Could* be the end of Bruce's 3-5-2 experiment, meaning bad news for Bruce owners

Not that strange. Hotby's obviously going to Fulham (which is a stupid move by Spurs) so assuming they're bringing Livermore back to warm the bench in his place. Capoue might also be off.

Yeah mean't it seems a strange decision to get rid of Holtby and replace him with Livermore. But i guess it's Sherwood who's probably worked with him at a lesser level and feels he "needs" him back.

Holtby has by all accounts, not been training well. Perfect for Fulham.

Really? Interesting. Makes a bit of a mockery of Sherwood coming out at the press conference before the City game and saying that Holtby was great in training and had never given him any problems. Sherwood will take the 'arry approach and make it clear who his favourites are.

Livermore is more appropriate bench fodder I guess. I'm not convinced at all by Sherwood. I'm not the biggest fan of Holtby but I'm also not a fan of the way Sherwood is 'rebuilding' the team. Letting Capoue go would be a big mistake IMO.

thinking he might end it anyway, but would bruce not have a shout as 2nd CB without chester?

strange indeed regarding recall, capoue leaving perhaps? livermore rewarded for decent showing this year? still won't get picked for spurs tho.

McShane seems more likely to partner Davies in a back-four imo. Steve Bruce seems to like him too. Think Alex Bruce is a better fit in a 3-5-2, but him and McShane in a 3-5-2 were weak against Palace and Hull fans were scathing of Bruce's performance last game.
