  I'm thinking RVP is the man from here on in! I would avoid Baines anyway, hasn't been fantastic offensively and with all them injuries Everton are a little leaky at the back right now.

      RVP ... the fact that ROoney was on the bench is slightly concerning. RVP, if fit, will always start and always player striker. Rooney, if fit, will almost always start and almost always play in the hole or an advanced midfield, occasionally dropping deeper. I can't deny Rooney is a gun and will score points but considering the pairing of transfers in you'll get better returns from RVP.

  While Baines is the 3rd best point scoring defender over the last 5 weeks, 2nd best points per game defender, he is only the 6th best overall point scoring defender and the 18th best value for money defender.

    Facts about RVP when compared to other strikers
    
    15th best points scorer
    7th best points per game
    35th best for value (points per million per game)
    
    33rd best overall point scorer over last 5 weeks but in that period he is averaging 8 points per game [only played 1 game] which is the same as Suarez in the same period.

Not really sure how to feel about owning Mata. Terrific player and clearly improved United's creativity, never a shots magnet and I should have remembered there was a phase last season when he scored 6 goals from 7 shots if I remember correctly, followed by a long blank when he regressed. I do remember highlighting that at the time as well to general disbelief that he would stop scoring; you can't escape regression forever. He says, stabbing his Yaya Toure voodoo doll.

  i got him for the rise, and the fact that every talked about player making his debut for a new team he does something eventually, I'm thinking ozil, lukaku, januzaj, i don't think united are effective in attack. He's a silva pick, the odd assist, assist the assister sometimes. He seemed more scholes like for united.

Can someone explain to me why you would choose Terry over Cahill?

Terry is 0.9 more expensive (6.7 to 5.8), yet Cahill has a better points per game average (4.9 to 4.7) than Terry.
Terry has scored more bonus points to date (17 to 10) and more goals/assists (2:1 to 1:2) but to me it is not that much different.

For those considering RVP here are some facts about him when compared to other strikers

15th best points scorer
7th best points per game
35th best for value (points per million per game)

33rd best overall point scorer over last 5 weeks but in that period he is averaging 8 points per game [only played 1 game] which is the same as Suarez in the same period.

Any glaring mistakes? I've halved the gap in my mini league to 60 odd points as I go for 4th year win and cash prize so need to get it right. Leader has all sorts of problems with injuries after playing wildcard early Jan. Thanks for your help in advance
