Our Gameweek regular for members is rolled out once again ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Liverpool’s trip to West Brom sees Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge place highly in the Captain Poll, whilst United’s visit to Stoke also supplies our analysis with a couple of popular contenders. Arsenal’s home game against Palace also comes into the reckoning, whilst we also unmask this week’s “Captain Unsensible” and cite the statistics to back up our bold punt:

      Benching dilemmas in that attack. I'd downgrade Eriksen, no need for him and Ade. Get a cheapie like Puncheon or Noone and then you can get Shaw in for Yoshida or Bassong in for Bennett, whi might not be nailed once Turner is back

      Nice team, Punch in for Eriksen mayhaps? Gives a few more dolla bills. Rotating Eriksen and Lallana may prove frustrating.

      I imagine you'll need to make a few transfers to get Aguero in for Ade when fit (and I don't think 1 city is enough going forward). Mert over Koscielny is a bit of a luxury as is one of Lallana or Eriksen on the bench. Could you do Lallana, Eriksen, Mert -> Hazard, Noone, Koscielny? Hope that helps.

        Thanks for the advice. Think I'm being stubborn and driving with Terry and Mert as they're best for bonus and attacking threat. A more sane person would do the moves you suggested.

          I had Terry in for most of the season, annoyingly got rid of him just before Chelsea tightened up. I still think he's a good pick, it seems he's just unlucky with goals, gets so many opportunities. Mert definitely a better option but Koscielny still pretty good value IMO. Just think it might hurt without Hazard, everything else is pretty much 50-50/personal opinion 😀

            Got Terry at 6.0 and Mert at 5.5, wouldn't stick otherwise. I'll rethink Hazard, Judy sold him and think I made a big error.

      Similar enough to mine Breadbin. I also have too much money on players who will be benched but I like the options of being able to play strong players every week. Don't exactly know who would be a real upgrade either

    Slowly being convinced to bring in Sturridge alongside Suarez this week, before I wait for Rooney to be fit. But as a Liverpool fan I don't think I can stand the idea of us blanking against the Baggies just like last time...

    Is Demi around?

    I'd be interested to know why Jovetic is left out of the City line up in the team mews section although it states in the text he is perhaps most likely to replace Aguero?

        But seriously, i think he has a good chance of starting. He's meant to be the usual Aguero replacement. Just impossible to tell if he will. I would go with him and Negredo, but think Pellegrini would choose him and Dzeko

        Im happy with Chambers. 3.9 for a southampton defender is a steal. Likely to be displaced eventually but for a 5th mid I'm not too pushed. Maybe Parr?
