Our Gameweek regular for members is rolled out once again ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Liverpool’s trip to West Brom sees Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge place highly in the Captain Poll, whilst United’s visit to Stoke also supplies our analysis with a couple of popular contenders. Arsenal’s home game against Palace also comes into the reckoning, whilst we also unmask this week’s “Captain Unsensible” and cite the statistics to back up our bold punt:
Best way to replace Agüero.
Currently have Gnabry Eriksen Özil Silva Hazard
RVP Suarez Agüero
Was wondering people thoughts on whether I should bring in cheap forward to replace Agüero and upgrade Gnabry to Cazorla for this week then a Man City Mid week after, or stick with same midfield and just bring in Giroud/Negredo .
Basically whether time has come to play 3-5-2 or stick with 4-3-3.Open ControlsMy thoughts on Rooney, why I am on the brink of picking him, and his gametime this weekend.
- you don't renew a contract with lucrative money to not play him.
- RVP started last week, Rooney came on. I think it will be the other way round this week.
- at the very least Rooney is playing behind RVP, and when they did play together, there was a lovely selection of double figure scores.
- Mata can only improve the situation
- They have nice fixtures
- I don't trust any of the City forwards to start more then 1 game in a row right now
Would love to punt on Dzeko or Jovetic, but it just seems a bit daft when this choice is here.
Any reasons I have missed out on? Any reasons why I shouldn't press the 'confirm transfer' button?Open ControlsI thought that was finalised now? Something working its way to 300k a week? Whether he has signed or not I'm not sure, but there were definitely talks of it. What do you think of Rooney?
Open ControlsI don't know about the contract.
He is potentially a very good option, but I'd prefer RvP if going for a United striker. I'm still concerned about how they are both going to be managed coming back from injury. United also are scoring many at the moment.
I prefer Sturridge personally, or a cheeky punt on Jovetic for a few GWs.Open Controls
You missed out that it's likely he isn't fully fit yet. Normally takes a while to build match fitness on return from injury
Open ControlsIt does for Rooney. It takes him a few games to really get going normally
Open Controls
a groin injury can linger for weeks even after you are "fit". I might be worried about another sub appearance.
Open Controlsagree with all the above and that's why i'm planning to get him on WC.
Little doubt just creeping in about whether i should stretch to RVP tho...
on pennas, will play furthest up etc...Open ControlsRooney is No Brainer!
Most important palyer of Man Utd
I just buy Rooney for Aguero.
I will never own Aguero, he is made from Glass....Open Controls
Yaya and Dzeko or AJ and Rooney?
Open ControlsRio Ferdinand @rioferdy5 1m
Fulham just signed our next CL opponents star man....good work Rene!! #TransferDeadlineDay

Bench Hazard or Silva??
I have to bench one this week....Open ControlsI'm benching Hazard. Feels weird
Open Controls
Dzeko, Sturridge or Negredo for he next 5 matches?
Open ControlsCool. I prefer to avoid rotation headache anyway. Thanks.

Missed on the last page.
Just posted the next 5 fixtures without naming players for the best Kun replacements.
Results turned out having Carroll, Jrod and Benteke as being favoured. Carroll with one more vote. The Manchester boys (Dzeko/Neg/Jovetic/Rooney/RVP) did not get one vote. Take the risk?
These are the following fixtures:
Carroll - SWA avl NOR SOT eve
MUFC - sto FUL ars cpl n/a
Ade - hul EVE new nor CAR
Jrod - ful STO hul whm LIV
MCFC - CHE nor SUN STO n/a
Benteke - eve WHM car new NOROpen Controls5 is too many. Look at 3 then decide

Hows this team look?
Boruc, Mannone
Lescott*, Kolorov, Mert (Ward, Bruce)
Mata, Lallana, Hazard, Yaya, (Puncheon)
RVP, Suarez, Dzeko
0.3 in the bank
* If he joins West Ham will go for Debuchy or Winston Reid if notOpen ControlsOoop, unable to write a post with a rival website name in it? That's fairly strong sensorship!!
Open Controlsinside of fpl. Missing the middle word. The have a new website and I was just saying some healthy competition and new ideas could be good.
Open Controls
A) Agüero -> Sturridge and play Oscar(mci) or Noone (NOR)
B) Agüero & Oscar -> RVP & Lallana (-4)and bench Noone
Swaying towards B atm, Robin looks a good bet for the armband next week!Open ControlsI think -4 for those two is a good idea. I'd prefer kompany from next week though. Vs and a DGW.
It could be worth the wait.Open Controls
Was worried, about my Dzeko over Sturridge move, but now members comparison tool over past 2 GW's has put my mind at ease =D
Wooooooow, no contest!Open ControlsManchester United peeps: Surely Moyesy has to play Rooney in the #10 slot with RVP up front, Mata on the right and Janu on the left? Wicked formation that.... Though Young did look good v Cardiff.
Open ControlsChances of this against Chelsea:
-------Yaya Fernandinho
Navas-------Silva------- Kolarov
---------Negredo/DzekoOpen ControlsHaha wishful thinking
Open ControlsExtremely low. 2 strikers 99%
Open ControlsVirtually nil.
Why would they change from two up top that has worked all season, especially at home?Open ControlsTo have an extra body in midfield. They don't need to win this game, they just can't lose it.
Open Controls
The Aguero injury along with the DGW, Sturridge's form and the return of RVP & Rooney is really keeping us on our toes! Who are you guys going for?
Open ControlsChelsea fans' Kurt Zouma chant has already been made!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0ikW7pVa_IOpen Controls30,000 sold Aguero since news broke.
Open ControlsWhich of these combos do you prefer, I narrowed it to three options:
A) Yaya and Sturridge (double up on City mids and Liverpool attack)
B) Mirallas and RVP
C) Mata and Dzeko
Thanks in advanceOpen ControlsDo you reckon Coleman will drop tonight really could do with him not
Open ControlsNo. With the red flag he should have 150% to drop.
http://development.totalfpl.com/pricechangesOpen ControlsThat's why I'm worried
Open Controls
Wildcard users, anything glaringly wrong with Mannone and Adrian? I see a lot going for Boruc, but I'd rather a cheaper Southampton defender.
Open ControlsNot at all. I'm probably shifting Yoshida to Shaw when Lovren returns.
Open ControlsCould easily go Lescott for west ham cover if joins West Ham today
Open ControlsI have that pairing, though I have the marginally more expensive Shaw, simply for certainty of starts.
They have nice rotation, Sunderland's away fixtures basically mean survival comes down to home form. West Ham have as many league clean sheets as Arsenal do, and with with their injuries starting to clear I'd back them to get back to their old solid selves. Andy Carroll is a big factor here as well.Open ControlsThanks, feel more at ease with it. Terrible time to wildcard, no time to properly look at options.
Open Controlsyeah, you should have gone on Tuesday, missed a few price rises, I will get a double rise out of AJ and Sturridge tomorrow.
Decided not to have Arsenal defence either. I am determined to keep Evans, after this week I'd back Azpi to get me a few and i reckon rotating 3 strong home defences (Norwich, Palace, Saints) can easily match Kos, especially with Arsenal's fixturesOpen Controls
No I went with Mannone, Adrian and Shaw on WC last week.
Open ControlsProbably will go for the same - even when they lose, they tend to get save points, especially Mannone.
The only worry I have is that the Saints defenders are all injury prone - Boruc looks the safest way into their backline. :/
So maybe Boruc/Adrian/S'land defender. Or Boruc/Mannone/Reid. Will check the rotations though.Open Controls
RMT for this week and upcoming GameWeeks.. thanks
