Sunday serves up a tempting double header as Arsenal get the opportunity to soar back to the top of the table with a win over Palace, while Liverpool look to cement fourth spot with three points at West Brom.

Proceedings begin at the Hawthorns, where Brendan Rodgers’ side draw up in the Midlands boasting twin destroyers that threaten to tear into Pepe Mel’s defence. Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge are backed by an army of Fantasy managers going into today’s clash – big returns for one or both will transform the Gameweek and mini-league scenario for many.

Will it be straightforward for Rodgers and his strikers? Maybe not – only Man City have conceded fewer shots from inside the area at home than the Baggies, while only Hull have conceded fewer “big chances”. West Brom do have a resilient side to them at home and, while the “Mel revolution” hasn’t quite swung into action as yet, today presents a good opportunity to demonstrate progress.

Later this afternoon, the Gunners face Palace at the Emirates. A one-sided affair on paper but Tony Pulis is sure to roll up with a blueprint to stifle and frustrate. Arsenal are likely to need an early goal if they are to deliver the kind of result that will have a big impact on our Gameweeks.

Look to our Twitter feed for all the news from the teamsheets, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to cater for your real-time needs.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      - He's the first choice penalty taker and so has not scored his penalties because he was lucky enough to have the first choice penalty taker off the pitch

      - He's on loads of set pieces so what do you expect

      - He hasn't scored many in open play

Suarez and Sturridge started together in two spells: from GW6-11 and GW22-24. Try comparing them for each spell. Startlingly different. Could be that Sturridge's form has changed or that the tactics have changed. But serious food for thought for the captaincy.

Thing is it can't be as simple as Sturridge always playing higher as his average position is no more advanced than Suarez. Fascinating strike partnership.

If you watch Pool when they break, the striker without the ball usually drags the defenders away to make space for player with ball.

Is it me or does Sturridge score like 90% of his goals in the first half? I've had him for most of the season and loving it, because It's never nervy for long with him. Nice, fast gratification.

ENR the answer to the team's defence I doubled up on: Terry and Cahill. Going full believer in the Mourinho defence and their attacking threat, paid off in the first week. This week is the only week I had a massive benching headache. Chose to play Terry and bench Cahill.
