    Anyone else find the points spreads and week rankings weird this week?
    Yesterday I was at 350k for the week with only Hazard to play. I got his 3 points today and fell to 1 million for the week. There weren't many players with huge ownership getting points today, only Terry perhaps.
    I ended up with 51, whereas Jonty has 58 for the week, and he's at 450k weekly ranking, so there's only a 7 point spread between 450k and 1 million weekly ranking. Tight week.

    Who would you C and VC out of this 3 for coming GW?

    A. Hazard home vs Newcastle
    B. Mata home vs Fulham
    C. Yaya away vs Norwich

    Am leaning towards AB(Hazard C, Mata VC).

    World cup fever ! 🙂

    This week's MOTD2 had a feature on English players playing out of their skin to get on to the plane to Brazil.. So who are the players of other nationalities in the EPL who are currently fringe players in their national squad, and are looking to impress their manager ??

    Mata springs to mind of course, but I'd like to hear people's thoughts on other FPL options too ..

        last year I had Evs and LR in my group of death and squeaked out a 2nd place finish (finished joint top by Evs had a better GD).

        I've found that if you can win your three home matches and sneak one on the road then that's typically enough to see you on to the knockout rounds

        Looked thanks for some tips but after GW25 I will do Mannone -> Adrian. Won't bother with Eriksen or Mirallas as none of them appeal to me and I find them to be very inconsistent and feel if I chose Mirallas it would leave a bad taste in my mouth I also don't really want spurs players as I am an Arsenal fan and have only have one spurs player for one week all season and that was Ade and he got me 5 points but I feel that this would be good for the next few weeks

        GW25- Burner, Januzaj -> Azpilicueta, Pozuelo -4pt hit
        GW26- Mannone -> Adrian
        GW27- Pozuelo -> Noone

        Thoughts?

          Seems you are set on those moves and if doing them will make you happier with your side then okay. We all have to follow our guts so best of luck.
          Don't like the hit for 25, though Azpi is a good bet. Poz as bench fodder is fine but if you did it I would just leave it and not trade out in 27.
          I like the GW 26 move.

    Here are my candidates for the armband for the next gameweek.

    1) Hazard - against a troubled Newcastle team. When they sold "the club" to PSG, they have been toothless in front of the goal really.
    2) Mata - since I don't have Rooney or RVP, against Fulham.
    3) Suarez - he is the beast (hence my ID) and can score against any team, but facing a solid Arsenal defence....
    4) Benteke - saw the match last week and saw him playing on the left really worries me, luckily he manages an assist.
    5) Mannone - I dreaded the moment when I switched him to Marshall last minute. I have never captained a GK before, but call me crazy.

    ATM I am leaning towards Hazard. What about you guys?

    Last week I made Aguero + Ramsey -> Rooney + Eriksen, and now I hate looking at my team.

    Mannone (Boruc)
    Azpi Koscielny Ward (Chester Hudson)
    Lallana Silva Hazard Eriksen (Pozuelo)
    Rooney Suarez Bony

    I have 1FT and 1.1M in the bank

    thoughts on;
    A) Rooney + Eriksen -> Cazorla + Negredo
    B) Rooney + Eriksen -> Cazorla + Dzeko
    C) Rooney + Eriksen -> Y.Toure + Giroud

    A wee player who I have mentioned before that is doing quietly well, but not reaping the FPL returns is Willian. Seems to be somewhat safe now in that Chelsea side and he looks in the mould of a Silva/Mata/Ozil type of player, well except he tracks back, hence the Jose love in.

    In the last four gameweeks, he has created 22 chances (most of any player in the league), taken 26 corners (9 successful) and crossed the ball 39 times ( 12 successful). 8 goal attempts which is okay, but only two in the box so evident he is not a goalscorer!

    Not sure yet if he has a touch of the Modric about him, he set up a few nice chances tonight though and I suppose if I was to take a gamble on anyone outside of the established big names, it would be him right now.

      Unfortunate that I don't get a chance to watch too many games. What I did see of William was that he seemed lost, but that was earlier in the season. The only disconcerting thing is that he has held down a starting place for a little while now, but his production has been lackluster. But I can see he appeal of a nailed-on Chelsea attacker for 7.5

        From what I have watched, he creates allot of chances for others, but they aren't currently sticking them away. Chelsea not exactly free scoring at the moment. In tonight's match for example, he set up two clear cut chances that I can remember (Ramires in the 1st half and Cahill header in the 2nd).

        He looks neat and tidy to me, so i'm curious with Chelsea having a nice run of games now will those around him start to convert more of these chances.

    Hello chaps. Question I have regarding my draft league team. I currently have both Bony and Michu. I might look to try and trade Michu with an opponent for Eriksen. Is this a wise move or should I hold onto Michu for his return?

      Michu despite not scoring, looked threatning when he was fit and playing. Swansea have nice fixtures as well. But with no return yet to fitness, yeah i'd consider moving him on unfortunately.
