Hazard more likely to explode but could easily get 2 points. Silva will likely chip in with an assist but less likely to explode. I'd probably choose Hazard from those two.

Hazard - usually, top players on a run of form who have just delivered hauls in a game often likely to contribute an assist or another goal in the following game. Having said that, City have form problems against Sunderland during the first half of the season and also in this exact fixture last season. Not sure if that will continue.

I've started to rely less (or try to at least) on the forum for actual transfer advice and go with my gut..for the most part I only ask if certain players are nailed on because I don't have time to watch all the matches every week and come on here to help others
Everybody has different circumstances. If that's yours, then I reckon you should be fine. But not many others.

I was debating between Nolan and Mirallas and after looking at their recent attacking stats, I am going Mirallas.
Nolan's shot accuracy and conversion rate is much much higher though. That means he an get returns in a lot less goal attempts. It's tough to weigh it all up. Nolan's fixtures aren't the best.
His last 4 goals have come from 4 shots, I am always wary of stats like that, it is just not sustainable.
Mirallas has looked really dangerous the last couple of weeks, and I think is more likely to return the points over the next 6.
How about save and wait for weekend matches? Wish I did that.

Yeah I know.. already checked. But Bentekes lack of shots is worrying, dont u think? Caulker is pretty tough to beat too, so Im still not sure Benteke is a better option.

Yeah I got rid of Marshall this week, it felt good. They really are terrible defensively, and with Villa being more of a force away from home I can't see a CS.

Just realized it's been a whole season of "is Dawson a rotation threat?". Timely injuries to other CBs has meant he starts all the time. Could be until gw37 when he's finally dropped and it wouldn't matter anymore. We really do overthink it here on FFS. For better or for worse.

Defensively, there are 3 great games there. Offensively, there are 3 away games against tight opposition. Lallana is hardly going to get a haul in that schedule is he?

Southampton put 4 past Hull, 1 past Liverpool (when Liverpool were defensive), 2 past Palace and 0 past West Ham.
Lallana is usually involved with their goals so he's still a decent pick IMO
Yup agree with this (see reply below). I knew they had weird results but not sure which games in particular. You've picked the right ones which demonstrate that I think Southampton is very unpredictable due to their high pressing game. On and off day, disaster (like against Chelsea). On their day, they can win big. Vs hull, Liverpool, Fulham, Swansea off the top of my head.
Southampton were very unlucky against Chelsea at times though. They really should have scored.
Yup they were, but disaster in the sense they can be punished if their pressing game is off. If they don't take their chances, and make some mistakes in the high press, they can be punished by the clinical teams.
Hence they really are a weird one. Big fan of their style though. Aside from that run of tough games plus when lallana was injured, id imagine tripling up on soton all season must be rather successful.
Horrible at the start when some of my rivals had double, trip southampton. I couldn't get them in cos of the bad games looming and they were killing me every week
Agree. But Southampton are an oddity this season. In games where you expect it to be right, they go on and have a goal fest. Games where you think they should win 2-0 3-0, they lose or draw.
It's a factor of their pressing game I think. Very finely balanced. A few individual mistakes and they can concede a couple in quick succession. But against a defensively tight team but poor on the ball (likes of hull and west ham), they could score a few.
Have a look at his history. Remarkably consistent. Could easily chip in with an assist at least in any of those fixtures.

Yea bad transfer but don't regret the logic. Gerrard obviously playing very deep with some tough games coming - who the heck expected Liverpool to trash arsenal and Everton. HBA, we knew the potential. With some plum couple of fixtures (nor, sun). Oh well. Punt gone horribly wrong!
