We delve into the data once again ahead of tomorrow’s fast-approaching Gameweek 26 deadline. Hull’s new Croatian frontman and Palace’s debutant are amongst the assessed, whilst we also examine City’s recent goal drought, Tottenham’s Togolese talisman and a couple of in-form wide men who racked up the weekend returns:
How's this looking for this gw lads
Marshall
Demel Kos Coleman
Hazard Yaya Mata Mirallas
SAS Dzeko
Subs: Ward Poz JTOpen ControlsGreat as long as the Fulham Liverpool game on, otherwise you stuffed like the rest of us

If all defenders are fit can someone tell me who is most likely to start for West Ham?
Reid seems sensible but Im reluctant to get him in until he has played 90Open ControlsAdrian
Demel Reid Collins McCartneyOpen ControlsJust get Reid, and be patient.
Open ControlsReid is a guaranteed starter, no doubt. Highly likely to be amongst the bonus points when we keep a clean sheet also. He is still coming back from injury so you are right to wait until he starts a match though. Could happen tomorrow and at least we will have the luxury of seeing the lineup pre deadline.
Demel pretty nailed on at right back. Collins/Tomkins will fight for remaining central spot, I don't think anyone can be sure of Sam's preference at this mo personally. McCartney may be good value at left back but I don't know if the new guy we signed Armero will pose a threat.
If Reid is back in the team tomorrow night and funds allow he is a good pick. However if Collins starts alongside him with Tomkins on the bench I will probably go Collins as he will be great value for money.Open Controls
Whoops! Subs made for value last night!!
Santi and Benteke ----> Gerrard and Sturridge!!!
Squeaky bum time!!!Open ControlsHow does this look for this GW?
Boruc
Demel Azpil Kolarov
Hazard Yaya Mata Lallana
Bony Sturridge Suarez(c)
Davis; Puncheon, Mariappa, KoscielnyOpen ControlsSeriously lads, am I invisible or something? Not getting any replies. 😕
Need to plan transfers now, won't have any free time tomorrow.
If match is called off: Bruce, AJ and Bony ➡ Reid, Mirallas and Dzeko (-4)
If match is NOT called off, just: Bruce and AJ ➡ Reid and Mirallas
Thoughts please guys? Need to have these transfers more or less confirmed tonight.Open ControlsI would suggest saving this week unless you really think your team is in need of major surgery
Open ControlsEven though I'm playing 4-5-1 with Kolarov, Koscielny, AJ and Puncheon? (If liv game is off)
Open Controls
Not Dzeko. Otherwise fine.
Open ControlsI'm not a fan of mirralas. Have you got lalana? Not a fan of dzeko either! What about lambert / adebayor?
Don't understand how the mTch getting called off affects these transfers?Open ControlsJust the Bruce and AJ whether the game is on or not imo Capt S.
Open ControlsCheers.
Open Controls
Indeed, thanks.
Open Controls
What difference does it make if the game is off whether you do bony < dzeko? First 2 transfers look good
Open ControlsI replied!
Open Controls
my team if Liverpool is cancelled..
Boruc
Williamson - Azpi - Demel - Ward
Colback - Yaya - Mata - Haz - Lallana
RVP
Davis; Suarez, Studge, Chester
not great! 😐Open ControlsCome Lawro, surely teams can score more than 2 goals??!!!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26117493Open ControlsCarrick's GW25 stats 😯
No one's going to buy him so I feel like I can share:
8 shots. No player took more..
92 passes. More than any other player.
113 touches in the opponents half. You guessed it, more than any other player.Open ControlsBuy him! Now! 😛
Open ControlsHow many of those touches went back to De Gea though?
Open ControlsStats are like mini skirts. Nice to look at, but cover the most important part.
Open ControlsAll that work, but nothing to show for it.
Open ControlsUnited's attacking stats were scary good on the weekend. Far greater than any other team. It was just the finishing that let them down. It was Fulham though, but still...
Open Controls
Far too many people are taking this game far too seriously. Now don't get me wrong - I put time and effort into selecting my team and planning etc (top 10k 🙂 ), but I can always sense the overwhelming tension in some people on here.. I can almost smell the smoke coming out of their ears.
Personally, if I have a poor GW, I just look at how to improve next week - I don't dwell, swear, rant or froth at the mouth. People, just be calm. Serenity is nice. Have a break from the screen. Think of good things.
Football is wholly insignificant in the grand scheme of the world. Politics comes first. Women second. Family and friends third. Football fourth.
So remember - C.A.L.M.
http://youtu.be/SuLnxjVo6bkOpen ControlsMaybe you didn't know this but some of us have 1000s on the line in our money leagues. Swaring is in the culture of football and its fans so I excpect nothing less while watching games and reading comments on here.

Gameweeks 32-38 – Race to the title.
It may be a while away, but an interesting look at the last seven games (GW32-GW38) in the season and their runs to the end.
With the title contention quite tight at the moment, here is a list of the final handful of games for the top half of the table as the season fires it way to a cracking ending to the season.
Chelsea (GW32-38): cpl STO swa SUN liv NOR car
Summary – Chelsea play ONE team currently in the top 8 in the last seven games.

---------
From the above, Chelsea are looking very appealing with only one game away to Liverpool in the final race for the title. Also interestingly Tottenham only have a single game against the current top 8 with a game against Liverpool also away.
On the other end of the scale, Liverpool will cop three massive games for their season hopes against Tottenham, Man City and Chelsea (excluding the troubled Newcastle match). The only saving grace is that all these games are at home where they have been proved to be scoring goals of late.
Manchester City, Arsenal and Everton all have three games with Everton’s run looking the most difficult on paper. But again all those games for the Toffees are at Goodison park.
Manchester United with two games – The troubled Newcastle and Everton both away. However, to be honest if they can pull their finger out this run for them to finish the season looks quite appealing.Open ControlsCan someone catch me up. What is all this about matches being off?
Open Controls- Open Controls
Would rather you just post the Bent goal so I can watch it over and over again. Will never get old

Why thank you

If the Fulham Liverpool game is off, do we have any idea when it might be rescheduled to?
Open Controlshttp://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2014/february/10/liverpool-update
Might be called off if Fulham don't think stewards can get to the game b/c tube strikes.Open Controlsi'm sure it's less to do with stewards and more the punters getting there.. if the tubes are borked it's a crappy place to get to.. they should just hire the ferries for the day and let peopled for free
Open Controls"the Club has concerns over the potential impact that the strike may have on the ability of its safety staff to attend the ground in sufficient time and numbers to ensure that it is able to open the ground and effectively operate it"
If staff can't make it they don't meet PL safety guidelines and the match can't go ahead.Open Controls
fulham might not be able to get all the staff to the ground because of a tube strike
Apparently there are other means of transport to the ground other than the tube. Can even get there by boat
http://www.fulhamfc.com/help/faq/travelling-to-the-gameOpen Controlsthey can but they won't because they want a 2 week rest

See the the Tweets, Home page, all there.

No.

Am I the only one who would embrace this?
Triple Liverpool owners, look on the bright side - a cancellation would be a better situation than them playing and blanking.
Personally I think dealing with these things adds an extra element to the game, especially in times where Suarez (c) has become a formality.Open ControlsGiggs Boson - this number's for YOU!!!

How long before Townsend replaces Eriksen in the Spurs starting XI?
A. This GW
B. A GW after this GW
C. NeverOpen ControlsThey will play together ... :-0
Open ControlsInteresting. How will they set up?
4-4-2
Lennon / Paulinho / Eriksen / Townsend
Soldado / Ade
4-5-1
Lennon / Paulinho / Dembele / Eriksen / Townsend
Ade
Is Townsend favoured by Sherwood?Open Controls
i assume C, but you never know with a rookie manager

What would everyones NON - FANTASY team be ? Basically an EPL dream team but use your current budget and FPL template. Mine would be:
Boruc
ivanovic - merte - terry - shaw
hazard - toure - gerrard - januzaj
sturridge - suarez
subs: davis - collins - nolan - adebayor
TV 109.7mOpen ControlsSo why isn't the other London game not at risk?
Open ControlsTheir teams are not knackered from 120 mins in the cup and being battered by 12,324 crosses from Young, Evra and Rafael.
Open ControlsBecause they all have more than two functioning brain cells in their management.
Open ControlsWest Ham game starts before the strike. Arsenal game: not sure, different locations I guess - you can walk from Euston/Kings Cross in less than an hour
Open ControlsI can't. 😕
Open Controls
Because London is f**king huge.
Open ControlsExcellent contribution. Simple question hoping for a semi respectful reply. I'm aware of the size of London btw having worked in the City for the past 20 years. If I post something that irks you in the future try and refrain from giving me any feedback.
Open Controls
It's amazing how many people who work for Fulham can't drive
Open ControlsI'm sure there is Staff parking at the stadium. And I have actually. I had to for my pass plus
Open Controls
So why are Fulham in trouble but Arsenal not?
Does this make any sense to you or not?
What would you do if it is called off?Open ControlsSomehow, in the midst of all my point hits and captain fails, I have managed my first OR in the top 1% of players. I state this publicly for two reasons. The first, obviously, is to pat myself on the back, even though I feel like I should have achieved this milestone sooner than 2/3 of the way into my second season. The other reason is to say thank you to the contributors and members who make this website an invaluable fountain of information and opinion for playing FPL. Keep up the good work, everyone.
Open ControlsTop 25K actually. Upward and onward. 🙂
Open Controls
good job, OP. Keep pushing, there will be a lot of opportunity over the next few weeks.
Open ControlsReally huge opportunities for anyone still holding a WC. I swear next year I will be one of those people. Of course I said that going into this season too.
Open Controls
What do we think to this team please guys?
Adrian Marshall
Koscielny Azpilicueta Shaw Ward Collins
Cazorla Hazard Yaya Lallana Mata
Suarez Adebayor Naismith
1. Would you change anyone?
2FT but 0 in the bankOpen ControlsOk say Suarez ain't playing out whose this highest % captained player?
Open ControlsWhat is cheaper, rescheduling a match... or a few mini-buses?
Open ControlsCould be worse. Everybody will have Suarez benched. A nice heap of serious players will have Sturridge.
Should mix up the captain choices for a second straight week and those of us with good benches will be rewarded.Open Controls😀
my rival has NO bench and Suarez, Sturridge and Gerrard!Open ControlsGorgeous. A pair of my rivals got Ramsey on the WC thinking he'd be fit and one has Barkley also. Some weak defences also with Liverpool defence on top of it as they are pool fans.
Could be a nice week if I get captain right.. might go Adebayor as vice.Open Controls
Bah. 🙂
Open ControlsIf anyone is looking for a new TV show to embrace, I strongly recommend True Detective. I just finished Ep 4 - some of the best TV I have seen in a long time. Get on it!
Open ControlsI second this opinion. Last night's show was incredible!
