John Terry is still sidelined for Chelsea. Billy Jones is a doubt for West Brom. Kevin Nolan has recovered from the groin injury picked up at the weekend. Robert Snodgrass is set for a late fitness test for Norwich. Craig Noone could return for Cardiff, Liam Rosenior is likely to miss out for Hull and Mathieu Debuchy is out of Newcastle’s home game with Tottenham:

Jose Mourinho has confirmed John Terry will remain on the sidelines with the muscle problem that forced him to miss Saturday’s win over Newcastle. The Chelsea boss expects his skipper to return in time for the weekend FA Cup clash with City, though Fernando Torres has recovered from a knee problem and returns to the squad to face West Brom this evening.

Pepe Mel has admitted Billy Jones is a doubt for West Brom due to a knee problem, with Steven Reid set to deputise at right-back if he fails to make it. The Baggies boss also conceded he may hand new boy Thievy Bifouma a start after he climbed off the bench to score against Palace in Saturday, though Jonas Olsson, Nicolas Anelka and Stephane Sessegnon all remain on the sidelines.

Kevin Nolan has recovered from the groin problem that forced him off midway through the second-half against Villa. Mohamed Diame and Joe Cole are both available for the Hammers home clash against Norwich, though Ravel Morrison has been unable to train due to an ongoing groin problem, Sam Allardyce has revealed.

Robert Snodgrass will require a late fitness test for the Canaries. The Scot missed the weekend draw against City with a groin injury and “has a chanceâ€, according to his manager, who will be without Jonas Gutierrez and Ryan Bennett. Michael Turner is back running after a hamstring injury but is “a number of weeks†away.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes to have Craig Noone and Kevin Theophile-Catherine available for Cardiff’s clash with Villa. The latter missed out with a knee complain at the weekend, whilst Noone failed to come off the bench after sustaining a muscle strain. Craig Bellamy faces a likely three-match ban after the FA charged him with violent conduct for an incident with Swansea’s Jonathan de Guzman at the weekend.

Steve Bruce has conceded Liam Rosenior is “extremely doubtful†for Hull’s clash with Southampton after picking up a hamstring problem at the weekend. The Tigers boss went on to say he may shift Ahmed Elmohamady or Paul McShane to right-back if Rosenior fails to make it.

Mathieu Debuchy is ruled out of Newcastle’s home game against Spurs with the calf complaint that forced him off at Chelsea on Saturday. Alan Pardew is still without Cheick Tiote and Fabricio Coloccini, though is optimistic on a return for Papiss Cisse.

Garry Monk has revealed Michu has missed training due to a swollen ankle but is still hopeful the Spaniard will play some part against Stoke. The Swans boss also expects Jonjo Shelvey to return to action shortly as he continues his comeback from a hamstring problem.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of this evening’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

I'm sticking my neck out here but I think the game will go ahead as planned.

The TSSA won't want to risk the wrath of the working man by interrupting the beautiful game.

No political undertones from me here, it's just that people won't be behind the action if it interferes with their leisure time.

but my reading of it is that the proof lies with Fulham themselves, if they can show that they won't have enough staff then it is within the rules to say it should be cancelled.
If the FA or EPL decide to push them to prove why they can't provide alternative methods of transport that may be different matter.

This is the team I want moyes to play for the rest of the season and stop messing about changing the team. At least then we know who is good enough to play next year and more than likely who needs to be sold/replaced. Raf, carrick and probably fellani( id give hom another season just bescuse hes new) aren't good enough. Evra, vidic ( hes finished anyway) and rio will leave. I think evans and smalling should be used as a squad players.

So we need a right and left back, a centre back and at least one centre midfielder. If moyes can't sort it out next year with new players then I think he'll have to go.

    ..............degea.............
    Raf..Jones..Evans.Evra
    .....Fellaini...Carrick......
    .Januzaj.Rooney. Mata.

That game was the most tactically inept managerial performances I've seen. He really should get the sack.

He is way too negative as well. Just to think that Moyes played Phil Neville and Heitinga ahead of Coleman at right back!

When the Mata signing was announced I was looking forward to a lineup similar to this, not sure why Moyes insists on sticking with his current ideas; it's obviously not working. I'd keep Vidic in for the rest of the season and look to form a new CB partnership for next season.

So... I've been thinking of getting rid of Mata and getting Silva instead. Especially considering the inconsistency of ManU, surely Mata is not worth the money compared to Silva? IF the Liverpool game is off, should I do it now for a hit? I have:

    Mannone - Marshall
    Kos - Ward - Bardsley - Shaw - Bruce
    Hazard - Lallana - Yaya - Sterling - Mata
    JRod - Benteke - Suarez

Mata away against angered Arsenal and Silva home against Sunderland. Worth the hit?

Mata has three assists in three games along with bps. He is nailed on for 90 minutes in every game from now till the season end. I'll be keeping and certainly wouldn't consider dropping for a player made of glass like silva.

suppose a cancelled game will work for liverpool also.
Good rest before cup game, BR would love to win silver.
If they lose in cup then chancs the game could be played on the next cup weekend, so won't even have 2 games in one week later

    ********TUBE STRIKE UPDATE********
I work in travel and have just had the following email:

    Dear Travel Agent,
Transport for London advice for customers - Tube strike on 11th, 12th and 13th February 2014

The RMT and TSSA unions have called a strike on the Tube which, if it goes ahead, will affect services from around 21:30 on the evening of Tuesday 11th February.
Industrial action affecting London Underground will take place from 21:30 on Tuesday 11th February until 20:59 on Thursday 13th February.
The strike will disrupt services throughout all of Wednesday 12th February and Thursday 13th February. TfL will run as many Tube services as possible but there will be disruption and some lines may have a limited service. Some stations will be closed.
Services will not return to normal until Friday 14th February.
    If strike action does take place;

    • Services will be affected from around 21:30 on the evening of Tuesday 11th February 2014.
    • On Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th February;
    - Where TfL can operate services, trains will run from around 07:00 or as soon as possible after that.
    - Services are expected to conclude around 23:00, with no service beyond that.
    - However, the last services from central London may depart significantly earlier than this, at around 21:30.
Customers are advised to check http://www.tfl.gov.uk to plan an alternative route or method of transport. DLR, London Overground, trams and other rail services will be operating as normal, as will buses and river bus services where there will also be some extra services operating. All these services will be busy. Cycling and walking may be other practical options.
    Please see further details here.

Do you think it worth a -4 to upgrade him to Lallana, or someone else?

        True that.

Anyone replacing Punch would have to get 6 to break even.

And then Puncheon could always bang in a goal, leaving me distraught.
