Ahead of this eveningโ€™s Emirates encounter between Arsenal and United, Paddy Power has come up with something a little different for those yet to register an account. As both sides look to recover from their respective weekend disappointments, our bookmaker friends are tempting us with an offer of either 4/1 for the Gunners to earn the win that would take them back to the top of the table or a massive 9/1 for David Moyesโ€™ underperforming side to emerge victorious

If youโ€™ve already got an account with Paddy, you can still benefit from a Money Back Special on offer at the Emirates tonight. Paddy are offering refunds on all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast bets should Robin van Persie score last.

To clarify, the Man United and Arsenal specials are limited to a ยฃ10 stake, are open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified. New customers can only opt for one of the two offers.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Powerโ€™s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

I know that there was some kind of big redesign, so all history only goes back to 2006/7, but there was definitely FPL before then. Think I started in '02 or '03.

The oldest email from FPL I can find, from 2004, but I started before then:

              Hi Dave Butler,

On Thursday the team selected for Ruud Boys was:

Van der Sar, Yobo, Mellberg, Upson, Savage, Rommedahl, Gerrard, Lampard, Smith, Defoe, Henry(Captain)

You were slating the Winter Olympics as being paid for by toffs for their kids.

Neither of my parents were toffs. And if you're referring to tax payers money then you'll find the top 10% of earners pay more tax than the other 90% combined, so I'm bloody thankful for the support they've given to my sport over the years.

I'm trying to find this comment of you slating the olympics but you comment so often it's proving hard to find...

"target is 6, expectation is 3-4 medals
all of them for private school toffs funded by common people's lottery"

          http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2014/02/12/ffs-paddy-power-cup-ix-and-members-cup-iv-entry-now-open/?hc_page=1#hc_comment_6796674

I see no truth in a single word of this.

First off, target of six. well that was originally 1-3 after the Vancouver Olympics. They upped it because of an interest in sports following the London Olympics and increased investment in SOME sports. Still you'l find most winter olympic sports are not lottery funded. Plenty of Olympians there representing us who have never had a penny from them.

Also then, you're referring to private school toffs. What of it? The majority of our summer Olympians were from private schools and an increasing number of our footballers are too. There's nothing wrong with where you're from my friend.
