We bring you the draws for the First Round of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup IX and FFS Members Cup IV, as sponsored by Paddy Power, after the qualifying rounds for both competitions took place over Gameweek 27:

First of all, entrants with a score of 56 points or more have earned a spot in the First Round of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup IX. If you scored 55 points, it was then down to overall rank to decide whether you progressed.

Our defending champion, Tdubb05, gets his title defence underway against stocherilac this weekend. Looking at some of the other previous winners, Jonty plays djt, MCH is up against Jambo 17, Donnellyc has cflanesra, Wild Rover goes head-to-head with Chobber Slops FC, whilst Gooner Dave has been drawn against JW.

Some of the plum ties amongst the community include Chu Young Ping Pong v Acquafresca, Bubbles against Yes the Sess! and Accounting on Chris v Attila the Bum.

Four of the current top 100 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers are in the hat for this weekend’s matches. Gambiteer, Justoutsidethemoney and Forbes are amongst those high-fliers as is world number two Tom Fenley, whose opponent, Alistair, currently sits around the 23,000-mark.

If you’ve qualified or just fancy a nosey, click here to view the full First Round Draw.

Entrants with a score of 58 points or more will have made their way into the First Round of the Fantasy Football Scout Members Cup IV. If you scored 57 points, it was then down to overall rank to decide whether you progressed.

Defending champion Acquafresca is up against Caladan Brood, whilst another former winner, Fuzzy Dunlop, goes head-to-head with The EJJ in Gameweek 28.

Amongst the notable community match ups, contributors Big Dunc and In Tommy We Trust face up to EpicFail and Chu Young Ping Pong respectively, whilst Dino’s clash with Bootsy and Thomass67 against Absinthe also catch the eye.

Once again, Tom Fenley is the manager to avoid in this cup. This time, he’s up against tmidrew who, with a rank inside the top 4,000, will fancy his chances of causing an upset. You can click here to view the First Round Draw.

For a list of the prizes and dates of each round, check out this initial article. As always, good luck to all those involved.

Same predicament, thinking I might hold till after.

Most teams with a DGW31 have a pretty poor run of fixtures after that so thinking it might be better used to resurrect your team afterwards?

That's partially true, but then there's only sunderland and wham with anything really scary on the horizon and you'll have a couple of weeks to weed them out anyway.

Horrible fixtures, GW33 onwards would be for me Sinik, but I'm guessing you want cover for GW29?
If you must you must, I'm staying short for 29 now and consolidating for 31 and later with as few hits as possible.

I'm looking for a Yaya replacement as I got him for 10.1 and could honestly see him dropping twice in the span of two weeks with such higher ownership once everyone realizes he has two blanks..

but on the other hand I'm not sure if 2 FT is worth 0.1m (one to move, one to move back in)

Umm that's a tough one, I think Alaba. Its better to have points in the bank and if Marcelo gets a CS then your just losing a point on that wheras you're gaining 3 points if Marcelo loses the CS. Go with the cconfirmed points in Alaba

Hello all! Can I have opinions on
    A) Snodgrass in for Yaya, then bring Yaya back again? Better team for gw 28 - 29, but waste of transfer(s), worth it?
    B) RVP in and C for gw 29, then transfer out gw 30 for SAS? Better team for gw 29, but uses up 2 transfers? Is keeping RVP for gw 30, C vs Liverpool(weak def, rivalry) viable?

How many players are people looking at having in GW29 and DGWers in GW31? I'm currently looking at 10 in GW29 and 6 DGWers in GW31 (assuming no other fixtures are moved to GW31), taking one hit in total. Are the majority of people going full out, possibly taking multiple hits, looking for 8+ DGWers or are you happy to settle for less?

Well I'll have 10 for GW29 simply because of dumb luck. Its now a matter of maximising the number of DGWers I can put out on top of that. After GW29 it'll all be about selling those without DGW's for those that have DGW's. Have a spare FT in the mix will also help with that.

Yep after GW29 I'll probably be getting in Yaya, Kun and Nolan. No one tempts me from United or Sunderland and I don't have a transfer to waste on getting a Hull cheapie in my defence. Already have S&S and I'm quite reluctant to sell Hazard and Lallana even though they won't have a DGW. All of this while I'm going to be away for 10 days over GW30+31 with no internet, which will probably ruin my season. Tough times.

Yeah. Not sure getting rid of Hazard just to have a double gameweeker is the best idea. Often times, I have picked guys up for DGWs, and it hasn't worked out as planned due to minutes or whatever. He's too good, Hazard, to let go. How much money would lose as well if you tried to get him back?

8 or 9 players at GW 29 (no hit) and looking forward to bring in the likes of Huddlestone/Sterling, Nolan and Aguero in the next two week to secure 6 DGWers. Been busy with work lately so I will probably do the planning at last minute. One thing for sure I won't hesitate to take hit in a dgw as it's only -2 for every hit.

I'll acknowledge there is a large element of sour grapes in this comment, but it would be better to split the qualifying rounds for the cup over two gameweeks so you don't get knocked out of both because of the same bad week i.e. ffs cup qualifying in one gw and members' cup qualifying in the following week.

Alternatively just let me in even if I only score 39.

Hard luck Red. Not entirely sure how a 2 week qualifying round would work.

I don't mean a 2 week qualifying, just have the qualifying rounds for each competition on different weekends.

Oh I see. Yeah I'm not sure but have they always had both at the same time?

Seems like Draxler took one look at Bayern against Arsenal and had a quick think. Ah well, here's to the return of Ramsey.

Sorry for repost... caught at the bottom of the last. Torn between Snods and Ince - can see upside in both but I feel the canaries have the better of the fixtures!
    any help/insight/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Which teams have a game in GW29 and also DGW in GW31? So far I see only ManU confirmed. But none of their players interest me...

You might want to re-check that GW on FPL. You'll see a few teams with DGWs.

How best to use my WC? I also have 2 FT this week and was going to do Januzaj > Snod but am thinking just playing with 10 men and having Januzaj for the United DGW.

    Team at the moment is:
    Adrian Marshall
    Azpi Coleman Fabio Ward Olsson
    Hazard Lallana Mata Sterling Januzaj
    Adebayor RVP Suarez

    Cheers DZers

      Well let's see ...

MCY has 1 good game but their 2nd @ MU isn't quite guaranteed to deliver loadsa points
MU @ Wes looks good on paper, but Big Sam may think differently. Then home to MC? Nah.
Wes home to MU doesn't look too good points-wise, home to Hull looks appetizing
Hull vs WBA, and then @ Wes, both seem so-so meh fixtures
Sun @ Nor and Sun @ Liv, not too appetizing at all
Liv @ Cardiff and vs Sun - looks like I'm loading up on Liverpool attacking assets!

Having said all that, there will definitely be some 'unlikely' differentials who will get a huge point haul this DGW ...

LOL at betting United to win any game the way this season has gone. Never forgot the 4.5 odds I got on Tot to win.
