Captain Sensible – Gameweek 28

Our weekly pre-deadline Members article focuses on the armband issue, with just 16 teams to consider. Liverpool’s “SAS” are eclipsed by Emmanuel Adebayor in this week’s Captain Poll so far as Spurs welcome Cardiff to the Lane, whilst Chelsea’s trip to Fulham and Swansea’s home clash against Palace bring Eden Hazard and Wilfried Bony onto our radars. As always, we roll out a “Captain Unsensible” option and delve into the data for a weekend underdog:

Sorry to have to do this but which set of transfers do you prefer?

    GW28 - Yaya & JRod > Lallana & Ade (2FTs)
    GW29 - Kos > Chambers
    GW30 - Save
    GW31 - Mata, Eriksen & Ade > Yaya, Livermore & Aguero (-4)

    OR

    GW28 - Yaya > Lallana (roll FT)
    GW29 - Kos > Chambers
    GW30 - Eriksen > Yaya
    GW31 - Mata & JRod > Livermore & Aguero (2FTs)

Both give me this team for the DGW31... most likely 8 DGWers*...

    Adrian*
    Cahill Evans* Olsson (Ward Chambers)
    Yaya* Hazard Mirallas* Livermore* (Lallana)
    Suarez* Sturridge* Aguero*

Basically do you think it is worth the -4 to have Ade for 3 weeks instead of JRod?

That and, Ade is the man in form.

Ever since Lamberts been back JRod has seemed to have returned nothing but 2s..

I'd go with the first if you plan to captain Adebayor but the 2nd if you're not.

If I did the first one, I would captain him... but I'm not sure I want to do it for that sole purpose of captaining him, because I'd be happy captaining Sturridge this week anyway...

        It's all quite messy...

I've been patient with JRod over the last 6-7 weeks, I don't want to miss any hauls, but at the same time, I'm scared of what Ade could do to Cardiff...

Team in shambles for gw29! currently have only 4 playing

    Mannone / Szczesny
    Koscielny / Azpilicueta / Collins / Mariappa / Yoshida
Yaya Touré / Hazard / Mata / Lallana / Delph
    Suárez / Sturridge / Benteke

2 FT, £0.6m in the bank.

Mariappa ----> Ward or Dann is the only move I can think of.

    Any advice?

am in a similar situation. You could get rid of Mata and Benteke and bring in Ade (playing both games) and maybe Snodgrass. Next week can change over a keeper perhaps or double up on chelsea defence?

Mata plays next week and has a double in gw31, so don't really want to move him on.

Will Remove Benteke next week for Lambert maybe.
