    Ok guys. How does this sound for DHW 31:

    Current team is :

    Marshall Mannone
    Coleman Ward Clyne Burner Ivanovic
    Mata Eriksen Lallana Hazard Livermore
    Adebayor Sturridge Suarez

    I will do these transfers before the DGW in 31:

    Mata -> Yaya
    Eriksen -> AJ
    Adebayor -> Lukaku
    Lallana -> Sterling
    Burner -> Zabaleta
    ( will cost a combined -8 hit between now and then to get these players for DGW 31 )

    Team for DGW 31 will look like this then: ( Players in CAPS have a DGW )

    MANNONE
    COLEMAN ZABALETA Ivanovic Ward Clyne
    YAYA LIVERMORE STERLING AJ Hazard
    STURRIDGE SUAREZ LUKAKU

    How does this sound guys??

    Cheers in advance

    Jaysus just seen that Tim Sherwood post-match interview.

    Not a happy bunny, at all.

    Reveals a bit too much of his/theplayers feelings it seems. When previous managers have done so their time has been limited..

          The trouble is you can isolate yourself as a manager and they you're finished, not just in football but any kind of management. What he says is right but he's not paid to be right he's paid to win and get the best out of what he's got, for now, with somebody else's signings...and that won't happen if you tell the world and his wife that you think the players are rubbish.

            Indeed, the players he has just won't react to that in a positive way, he'll be replaced by Van Gaal in the Summer most likely.

              Yeah it's a shame because he's obviously Spurs through and through, but managing people isn't the same as being a good coach or being dedicated...it's tough. Not many SAF's about.

                His points total isn't even that bad from his games, it's just evident he's quite limited and he wouldn't take them where they want to go long term. In a way I wanted him to do better than AVB who was all theory no practice.

        Like it too, but the comment that went like 'there's a few I'd count on, there's a few I wouldn't ' makes me think he's lost a few too many. Clearly counts of Bentaleb, not too sure he's on about that he doesn't count on.

          Dawson, Sandro, maybe Bentaleb, possibly Soldado and perhaps Lennon also, apart from that the players don't fight for the shirt enough, unfortunate for Spurs that these players are either aging, inexperienced or just on poor form.

    If my team looks like this for GW 31(with 2 premium benched players for after 31)

    Boruc
    Evra, Kompany, Chester
    Hazard, Mata, Nolan, Johnson
    Suarez, Sturridge, Lukaku

    Davis, Lallana, Terry, Ward

    Is it really worth ripping it apart to bring in Aguero, is he really the essential?

        I think he will but may wait on that one. Money may not stretch though so may get Bardsley/Collins and Silva over Chester and Yaya. More chance of repaying the hit on 30 that way as well as Bards has high chance of cleanie.

    Starting to wonder about whether I should get AJ again. The first time I got AJ was based on his form and motivation, Sunderland were on the rise, moving in the league cup, he was positive and there was even talk of him getting an England place. After he was left out of the England squad for the friendlies I wonder if some of that motivation might be lessening. I dunno.

    How do captain changes work in Ultimate FPL during DGWs?

    Say Sturridge tears up Cardiff but i have the armband on Aguero, can i just change it for Match Day 4 and just double up Sturridge's score? Or just double up whichever of my DGW players does best in their first game??

      Not sure but I think we'll have to pick the captain you want for the whole week from the start and basically stick with him til the end. Won't be able to take it off and put it back on.

      As for transfers, do we just have a WC now and then no more transfers?

          That is a fair enough point, the privilege of captaincy has its perks I suppose, but I think despite his points it always seems they are conditional, it never feels like a safe pick just because he rarely does anything in open play anymore. I didn't get him because I can't see his scoring run continuing, and I think many others are like of mind. However as a 'Pool fan I hope with it all to play for he sparks into life and rallies the troops. 😉

    Hi everyone, so a fairly average GW for me. Now looking forward to the next one! My current lineup is this:
    Boruc
    Olsson Ivanovic Ward
    Snoddy Noone Hazard Lallana
    RVP Suarez Benteke
    Bench: Mannone, Delph, Yoshida, John

    Currently thinking of doing Benteke--> Aguero and putting the armband on.

    Or maybe I should use my WC, as I'm not too happy with this side.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks for any advice, I really appreciate it! 🙂
