Newcastle suffer a double injury blow to Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy. Aaron Ramsey remains out for Arsenal. Kyle Walker and Sandro are doubts for Spurs. Victor Wanyama is a worry for Southampton. Craig Gardner and Wes Brown are available for Sunderland. West Brom’s injury list continues to grow, whilst Michu is back in full training for Swansea:

Alan Pardew was left reeling after both Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy were ruled out of Newcastle’s next three to four games with calf and groin injuries sustained on recent international duty. Fabricio Coloccini will return after missing the Hull victory due to a family bereavement.

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey will miss the North London derby, despite earlier whispers that the Welshman would make his long-awaited return at the weekend. Ramsey is out for a couple of weeks, whilst Mesut Ozil is sidelined for three-to-six weeks with a hamstring injury. Nacho Monreal is available, though fellow left-back Kieran Gibbs is still a doubt. January signing Kim Kallstrom is finally injury-free and Yaya Sanogo “has a chance” of making the trip to Tottenham.

Sunderland boss Gus Poyet has a near fully-fit squad to choose from for the weekend, after confirming that Craig Gardner and Wes Brown have both resumed training. The pair missed last week’s loss to Hull with knocks but are in contention to face Palace at the weekend, as are Jozy Altidore and Valentin Roberge who have recovered from illness.

West Brom’s injury woes have worsened with Pepe Mel ruling Steven Reid, Claudio Yacob and Billy Jones out of the trip to Swansea at the weekend. The trio have knee and hamstring injuries respectively and join Chris Brunt and Diego Lugano on the sidelines.

Garry Monk could be boosted by the return of Michu following several weeks out through injury. The Spaniard is back in full training, with Monk set to make a decision on his involvement later today. Elsewhere, Pablo Hernandez is expected to feature after limping off against palace, with later scans revealing no significant damage. Jonjo Shelvey is unlikely to be involved following the recurrence of a hamstring problem, whilst Nathan Dyer remains a doubt with a bruised foot. Chico Flores will miss the game through suspension, meaning Jordi Amat will fill in ahead of the injured Kyle Bartley.

Alex Tettey is available for Norwich following an injury scare against Stoke last week. Michael Turner and Jonas Gutierrez remain sidelined for the Canaries, though the pair have returned to training following hamstring and calf injuries respectively.

West Ham have the luxury of an almost fully-fit squad to choose from, with Sam Allardyce confirming that Joey O’Brien and Marco Borriello are the club’s only injury absentees for the trip to the Britannia.

Tim Sherwood is sweating over the fitness of Kyle Walker and Sandro after both players were subbed off during last night’s Europa League defeat against Benfica.

Jack Cork has been ruled out for a few weeks with an ankle injury for Southampton, whilst Victor Wanyama is a doubt. Dejan Lovren was ill earlier in the week but “should be fine” to face Norwich.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

Lukaku scores one and shoots to the top of the captain poll. What happened to 'never bench, never captain'?

It would be Rooney for me if I had him, and Suarez if I could bare to captain him against United. That pretty much leaves Hazard or a punt on Lambert.

      Never captain? Lukaku or Baines?

Surely Luk is a captain contender this GW and the next.

Unlucky, I had my fair share when I captained him in his first game at Goodison so, for me, he is a captain contender for the next 3.

Said on the last page, has only scored more than 1 goal in 2 matches this season.

In only 1 match did he score a goal and get an assist (in fact it was one of the games he scored 2 goals in.)

The rest of his attacking returns have been limited to 1 goal in a match or 1 assist in a match and that's it.

Not a good enough captaincy choice.

    RVP & Nasri (0 hit)

    Alright, lads.

I've got 3 moves planned for next GW, reckon it's worth doing one of them this week for -4? And which one?

    1) Mata to Yaya
    2) Snodgrass to AJ
    3) Olsson to Kolarov

    Two Questions for you

As part of GW30/31 who is the best Man City MF to have apart from Toure and Silva

    &

Who would have out of these lot for a striker position (again for initially GW30/31)

    RVP
    Dzeko
    Rooney

My other strikers are Suarez and Sturridge

    Any ideas would be welcomed

I would imagine it would be a bit silly just to reset when any ole player is ruled out. But when the out and out leader is, it just might be something to consider.

      Collins ---> McCartney?

Collins could be a risk with both Tomkins and Reid around and fit.

Saves a bob or two as well.

Who would you have first on your bench to come in for Aguero if he doesn't play? Snodgrass or Demel?

I regretfully bought Vidic last week? Anyone think he is back this week?

I have enough to do Vidic > Zaba.

I doubt he'll get much gametime in the season run-in. I think Moyes have given up on the 4th spot, as well he should. All about setting things up for the next season now. If you can do that for a free it sounds nice. Everton would tempt me more though.

We will certainly never know in advance with Moyes.

If no other pressing transfers then I say yes, just do it, and forget it ever happened.

Relax and wait. City pressers are usually on Fridays, although I haven't heard anything official about when it'll be today seems likely.

If he was out for a long time they'd no and I highly doubt they'd be able to prevent it being spread about. Not sure how serious this is.

A tricky one i know...Do i play Ward or Ince this week?

Ince is the gamble but could reap more if playing in "the hole"...

Would've been easier to just say Baines or Nolan.

      I reckon Baines.

First off, wait to see what Aguero news is.
Second, see if and how Mirallas plays this weekend.
Not sure if Kolorov will play both.
      Sterling may rotate.
