Our Friday afternoon delve into the data arrives once again as the clock ticks down on tomorrow’s deadline. So far this week Luis Suarez leads the way in one of the most comprehensive Captain Polls yet – over 74% of the votes cast have gone the Uruguayan’s way ahead of Liverpool’s games against Cardiff and Sunderland. We analyse the leading contenders in this week’s Poll and assess whether there are any viable alternatives worth considering:
-
A: Rooney AJ/Ox
B: Giroud Mata
Leaning towards A with johnson as he has another double in gw34...but Rmt says option B by a long mileOpen Controls-
-
hmmmm any particular reasons behind it?
Giroud:
- Arsenal/Chel could be highscoring and then a good home game
- he is the focal point of attack
- no rotation risk
Rooney:
- two tough fixtures
- on penalties
- chances of being played in withdrawn role
AJ:
- high goal involvement for sland IF they score
- tough fixtures
- has another dgw in gw34 but thats also with tough games
- very unpredictable and seems to have gone off the boil
Mata:
- should be nailed on
- toughish fixtures
- not on good form
Ox:
- Looks in real good form
- Shd be nailed onOpen Controls-
Stop talking yourself out of it...mata and Giroud has done bearly anything lately and have tough fixtures. Rooney and AJ for me
Open Controls -
Toughie. I'm not a big mata fan - definitely better ways to spend 9m+.
Roon, Ox and Giroud all good to me.
I'd prob go AOpen Controls -
Always good to play the devil's advocate:)

What should I do?
Boruc (Kelvin Davis)
Coleman, Cahill, Terry, (Ward) (Chester)
Lallana, Michu, Hazard, Yaya Touré (Sidwell)
Suárez Sturridge LukakuOpen Controls -
Who will score more? Snodgrass (SUN) or Januzaj (whm, MCI)?
Open Controls-
Snodgrass will start. Not sure if Januzaj will start either.
Open Controls

-
Szcezny
Coleman, Ivan, Chester (Olsson, ward)
Yaya, hazard, lallana, Nolan (Snoddy)
Suarez, lukaku, JRod
I'm thinking lallana and JRod to Sturridge and a.Johnson for -4
Pull the trigger?Open Controls -
RVP possibly out for the next 6 premier league games, Rooney owners rejoice!
Open Controls -
Hi, ok to go for GW31?
Mannone (Boruc)
Zab, Coleman, rosenior, (azpil, ward)
Yaya, gerrard, Adam Johnson, hazard (Bradley Johnson)
Lukaku, SaS
Could chang gerrard for silva but not sure it's necessary...Open Controls -
I'm on my wildcard, any thoughts on this template-tastic selection?
Mannone
Zabaleta Distin Collins
Yaya Silva Gerrard Hazard
Suarez Sturridge GiroudOpen Controls -
Would you bench Hazard or Chester?
Open Controls -
This time last week Lukaku was the second coming of Pelé. Now people would willingly lose a left bollock to be rid of him. And we call other people casuals.
Open Controls-
some players over rated on here, lukaku is one of them.
although now is a good time to own him imo.Open Controls -
95% of advice on here is to just bring in last weeks player. Lukaku is the only option.
Open Controls-
This is so true, except the lukaku part......
Open Controls
-
-
not my left bollock, it's my right one that's sheet 😛
Open Controls

Captain poll says whopping 74% for Suarez! Sturridge second with 9.34 and Lukaku just 1.46. Rare figures i guess..
Open Controls -
Why did Colback not play last weekend? Know very little about Sunderland
Open Controls -
Talk of people benching Hazard??
He will probably be on pens & could score...
Seems silly to me.Open Controls-
Ramires is suspended so Lampard will play.
Open Controls -
lamps likely to play in ramires absence, so would likely take pens away
Open Controls -
Some players have 2 chances to outscore him. Worth the risk imo
Open Controls-
Not like he does much against the bigger teams anyways..
Open Controls
-
-
-
Gotta hope Sturridge outscores Rooney this week
Open Controls-
rooney on pens free kicks, the main man again.
versus
sturridge playing wide probably.Open Controls-
Hooper is the main man at Norwich and on pens, doesn't make I'm better than Studg.
Open Controls-
not saying he is but pool are much better than norwich and sturridge is far superior to hooper
Open Controls
-
-
you forget one important fact, united are absolutely shocking
Open Controls
-
-
Gotta hope Sturridge outscores Suarez. By a margin.
#BELIEVEOpen Controls -
I think he will...
Open Controls

All yere exciting questions but I ask:
Is Bruce/ Chambres -> Drumett/ Chester worth a -4?
If so which one to get rid of and which to get?Open Controls-
-
Worth a -4?
Open Controls
-
-
-
Hazard or Snodgrass this gwk?
Open Controls -
Anyone else with no united or arsenal coverage?
Open Controls -
-
No
Open Controls
-
-
Hazard and Snodgrass - bench one
Open Controls-
Snodgrass
Open Controls
-
-
anyone want to see my team?
Didnt think so, Its shite.Open Controls-
Lol
Open Controls
-
-
Is anyone else frantically figuring out a way to free up funds for Lukaku -> Aguero?
Open Controls -
Hmm. Rooney now becomes a viable alternative to me being seduced and ultimately disappointed by Dzeko again. So why am I dithering over bringing him in?
Open Controls-
Cos he's kinda pricey?
Open Controls
-
-
Chester or rosenior?
Open Controls -
Sup folks,
rvp injury has killed all my dgw preps:(
1) Thoughts on barkley starting both games?
2) Who to start btw barkley n hazard?....really toughieOpen Controls -
Pick 3 to play in UFPL
a) Kolarov
b) Huddlestone
c) Sterling
d) MichuOpen Controls -
Went and bloody did it, didn't I?
-8 points in hits and the depressing realisation that Aguero was not going to be fit for the DGW 🙁
On a positive note, the team looks pretty tasty:
Mannone
Coleman Chester Evra
Silva Sterling Nolan Yaya
Rooney Suárez Sturridge
Bench: Begovic Shaw Cahill ParkerOpen Controls -
Tough WC decisions coming thick and fast:
A) Lukaku + Baines + (3.8m)
or
B) Rooney + Dummet + (Ward)
Long term I think A) looks better but I'm so tempted by Rooney...Open Controls-
A
Open Controls
-
-
so RVP pretty much out for the rest of the season. Welbeck anyone?
Open Controls-
Not with a gw34 blank. Maybe for gw37
