nothing will happen ox retrospectively right? a red card is given when a clear goal scoring opportunity is "denied". so if a shot is going wide and a player handles it, "presenting" a goal scoring opportunity in the form of a penalty, then it can't be a retrospective red. right?

Not sure how it works but was talking to a friend at work and we were saying arsenal might not appeal te decision as they could probably do without gibbs instead of losing another attacking midfielder. Not sure how it would work and if they could do it but it would be strange f they accepted the wrong player being sent off and it improved their squad.
