There’s no getting away from it, Granville and I are nothing short of bitter middle aged, middle of the table Fantasy managers. This week’s ScoutCast is a vitriol-filled slab of double Gameweek failure, inspired by Yaya Toure’s relentless point scoring and our stubborn reluctance to recruit his talents.

Of course, in between skinning our sour grapes, Granville and I dabble with the podcast regulars, whilst responding to another round of community posers including a lookey-likey query that smiles kindly on my co-host and has me recounting the tale of my very own office doppleganger.

Thoughts on Nasri when Aguero comes back? Will he still get PT? 75+? Might jump off the boat with Silva.

  It's difficult to know whether it's worth it. I plumped for Silva because I thought Jovetic being fit might be a threat to Nasri's gametime; that hasn't been the case. But if Silva's fit he's at least as good an option as Nasri. I'd probably hold for now.

    Haven't even heard of him training. Doubt Pelli pulls a Mancini and rests our in form fit striker when we need 3pts. Aguero and dzeko if anything. Hope I'm right
    
    Unlikely Kun would play 90 anyway and if we need a goal or are up by a few then Dzeko 20 min is fine by me

      True, I expect Dzeko will feature even if Kun's back. But there hasn't been much indication either way - probably another week out for him but who knows.

A. Rooney -> Aguero (0.7)
B. Gerrard -> Silva (0.4)
C. Hazard -> Yaya (0.3)
D. Sagna -> Zabaleta (0.6)

If Villa front three are confirmed fit to play, I feel I would bench Evra.

There's a risk of him to start on the bench again for. Buttner's game time.

  wrote about this earlier. Usually it is the CL player that gets the rest in the league. In this situation, the reverse is true. Do you think that Buttner will start and then be forced to play 90mina on Tuesday?
  Wouldnt the more likely scenario be for Evra to start and give Buttner a run out @ 60mins?

Really slow these days. More and more people giving up I guess. Even Gran has thought about it lol. FPL does take up quite a bit of time and I can't help but think my life was better before I found this game. Its similar to how I feel about poker. Its fun and all but my life would have been better had I never found that game.

    Going for diffs to Yaya hurt me pretty badly this season. Never really adapted even when the DGW chance came I still refused to bring in Yaya. Hopefully I can still scrape top5k and pretend this season never happened.

    There aren't really many DGW midfielders worth it besides the City ones. Barkley maybe? Mirallas is a real odball, not even sure I should go near him.

        Wasn't a race, just an 'experience' of life at sea.
        
        I got my parents to do transfers for me.. Jeez, it's not easy explaining FPL to people who don't know much about football! We weren't allowed any electrical communication (phones, internet etc) on the ship so I had to tell them what transfers to do before I left. Obviously it wasn't very convenient since I didn't know the results/news from GW30 and it could've been ruined by a few injuries but luckily my team was all fit so the transfers worked out ok. Not gonna lie - I was quite nervous. Could've potentially ruined my season if things didn't go to plan!

        I wonder how a team would work out if you had to plan all of your transfers on day 1. I guess changes in schedules and DGW's would cause difficulties but would be the same for everyone

  Hey mate. Since I've been away I've pretty much given up on UFPL as I couldn't do changes for the past two weeks. Rank dropped from like 300th > 5k or something... Maybe I'll start playing it again just for the H2Hs but my team isn't looking too great!
