DGWs or not, I'm really tempted to lose both AJ and Bardsley.. Anyone else?
Open Controlsplanning to transfer out AJ as well
Open Controls"I'm trying to use Adam Johnson in the best way we can and the more space there is the more influential he will be.
"It would be very easy for me to say he will start next Monday against Tottenham but I don't know."
Poyet in the post match interview.. after reading that i wanna get ridOpen Controls
Man Utd player you are eyeing for the double?
Rooney Mata and De Gea possiblyOpen ControlsJust Rooney. Evans/Smalling too if injuries mean they'll play.
Open ControlsProbably just Rooney and DDG, Possibles are 1 of Mata and Kagawa.
Open Controlsrooney
Open Controlsrafeal......injuries permitting
Open ControlsRooney and a defender. Evra likely too expensive for my budget so maybe JOnes.
Open Controls
How do I use my 2FTs wisely?
Marshall (mannone)
Coleman azpi davies (fonte ward)
Gerrard hazard taya AJ (punch)
Suarez studge luk
0.3, 2FTsOpen ControlsPunch > Mutch and play him over AJ? With the rest of your front 8 I don't think you'd be able to play Punch during his DGW anyway.
Open ControlsAlthough you probably wouldn't get a chance to play Mutch apart from this week. So maybe get some extra cash by getting a cheapie (Delph/Jedinak/?) to stay on your bench for the rest of the season. The rest of your team is really good so that 5th mid spot is the only place I can see a transfer benefitting your team in the long run.
Open Controls
Giroud > anyone.

Hold Mata for a week more against a terrible looking Newcastle or transfer to Nasri this week?
Open ControlsVery happy that my first stickied (?) post included almost only right suggestins, phew!
Here it is by the way:

Anyway.. This week I'm genuinly not sure what to do both long-term and short-term..
I'm thinking about getting AJ/ward in for gw34.. have 2FT and 2.2 ITB so I have to do something this week.
Here's my team now:
Mannone
Baines Ivanovic Coleman
Yaya Snodgrass Silva Hazard
Sturridge Lukaku Suárez
Subs: Boruc Sterling Vlaar Dummett
Cheers.Open ControlsI wouldn't be that bothered about getting AJ in..
Open ControlsHe might steal something at home against Everton, but Everton could also just as easily keep Sunderland out.
Don't see him getting anything at all at the Etihad tbh, probably won't even play as Poyet seems to go defensive when he knows he's beaten.
There are a lot of people considering getting rid, he has the quantity of fixtures but not the quality, his team are out of form, and he's a rotation risk..Open Controls
Ship Nolan out for a hit this week?
Already have Yaya, Hazard, Gerrard, Delph. Got 8.8 for the transfer.Open ControlsLast Man Standing Updated
14 out, 25 left. Safety score 43.
Triggerlips is still in but not on the league page. i got knocked out this week.
List of those left can be found here.
http://fantasy.premierleague.com/my-leagues/324/standings/Open ControlsAnyone else considering an expensive keeper for the rest of the season?
I'm thinking Adrian > Cech this week, and then DDG to come in for Utd's double.Open ControlsTransfers are too valuable at this stage of the season to spend two on GKs.

Rough thinking how many dgw's for 34? 6/7 for me
Open ControlsHaha Mark, I didn't realize you did this 😆
http://www.esquire.co.uk/culture/sport/4625/how-to-win-at-fantasy-football/Open Controls11. Don't bother with defensive midfielders like Yaya Toure or Aarron Ramsey, they are unlikely to score many points! And if they do, it's probably a fluke, so still don't buy them.
Open ControlsThat actually would fit there perfectly.
Open Controls😆
Open Controls12. Always go for the differential, especially with captain choices, no point in captaining Suarez just to copy everyone else, try to be different.
Open Controls13. Try to avoid doubling up as it's unnecessarily risky. Strategies such as owning two strikers from the same team are bound to end in tears.
Open Controls
Wise words
Open Controls
Great tips. Pity he hasn't followed them.
Open ControlsMight have been a bit liberal with this one 😀
"Study their lineup and try to anticipate their transfers. If they open up a gap at the top, you may need to take a few risks and bring in some players that sets your squad apart – a “differential” or two."Open Controls
Morning Gents 🙂
Are you all happy enough with how that gameweek went?
Because it kinda sucked for me.. Sucked harder for my mini league rivals though so its all good 😉Open ControlsNice 😎
AJ brought me up to 48 so it wasn't too bad, I want to make a 12 point hit this week though so my team's not in the greatest of shape..Open Controls
Did okay, 51 points and saved my FT. Rival is just 8 points ahead, well within my grasps!
Open ControlsIwoke up to find a green arrow, im in shock...maybe fpl is playing an april fool joke on me
Open ControlsTold ya you should have expected to go back up a few 😉
Nice rank man! Keep it up for the next few weeks 😀Open Controls
52 and a red arrow. not too happy with that. Did okay but could have been so much more had a few of my boiys tucked away some easy chances or if everton had kept a clean sheet
Open ControlsI know that feeling Badger.. Everton clean sheet would have given me another 13/14 points I'd reckon.
Open ControlsSame. Lukaku Baines and co managed to bundle a few more efforts and Sterling left with nothing to show for his man of the match performance left me a bit disheartened haha
Open ControlsA tough week to take, anywhere around the 50 point mark is alright though, we'll survive it, plenty of time to grab another few green arrows 😉
Open Controls
What's up with Smalling? Will he get minutes or is he first choice or what?
4.7 is cheap for a United CB..Open ControlsCricket experts, need some help before bed.
Who will win?
West Indies vs. Pakistan?Open ControlsI wish I was going to bed... 😥
Open ControlsWouldn't like to guess. T20 is a bit of a lottery and it could all depend on who wins the toss. But if you have to guess, go for WI because they're much more fun.
Open ControlsThis. Too close to call but the Windies seem to be T20 specialists and have won it before.
Open Controls
Good night.

Alright, I'm bored so thought I'd do a little analysis on who to play between Adrian (LIV) v Mannone (tot) this week.
Adrian's previous home matches vs top 7:
ARS 1-3 2pts
MUN 0-2 2pts
-----------------
West Ham's other home matches vs top 7: (Jaaskelainen's points)
EVE 2-3 1pt
MCI 1-3 3pts
CHE 0-3 2pts
-----------------
Average v top 7 teams: 2pts
-----------------
Mannone's previous away matches vs top 7:
eve 1-0 10pts
ars 1-4 1pt
liv 1-2 2pts
-----------------
Average v top 7 teams: 3.25pts
-----------------
Tottenham's home matches where they didn't score any goals:
WHU, NEW, LIV, ARS (scored in 12/16 home games)
Liverpool's away matches where they didn't score any goals:
ARS (scored in 15/16 away games)
Conclusion: Although the sample size is relatively small, it seems like Mannone is the better choice this week. WHU haven't kept a CS against a top 7 team at home, and Liverpool have scored atleast one goal in all but one of their away matches. Tottenham are in worse goalscoring form than Liverpool, and have failed to score in 4 home matches so far this season. Mannone also averages more saves per game.Open ControlsAs an owner of Mannone - Given, I like this conclusion 😎
Open ControlsMannone easily. Liverpool are superb and we're utter rubbish and possibly fielding Harry Kane up front. No contest.
Open ControlsIs Harry Kane ever going to be a good striker or is he always going to be Spurs' backup?
Open Controls
To be honest, I never thought there was much of a conundrum. Liverpool are unstoppable at the minute and Tottenham are toothless. Mannone gets points even when his team are being well beaten. No brainer for me.
Open ControlsWhen I play Mannone, I get crap. When I don't he flourishes lol
Open ControlsIn that case, ignore these stats and bench him please.
Open Controls
Thanks:)
and who would you recommend playing amongst Adrian(LIV) and Borus(mci)?
A 2 point avg for Adrian has got me thinking - but boruc might be -2!!Open ControlsProbably Boruc. Will most likely be a 0-1 point difference between them so don't lose sleep over it 🙂
Open Controls
Would you rather
A) AJ > Nasri (this week)
B) Sturridge > Aguero (next week)
Either way maxes me out for cash and City players.Open ControlsSturridge to Aguero next week I think. Spurs' defence is pretty leaky from what I've seen, very open team. Also I think you guys do better away than at home. I also don't really rate Nasri as a solid enough option. I think Sturridge could do more damage to Southampton.
Open Controls
I'm so excited about going to Old Trafford for the first time tonight to watch Man United beat Bayern Munich!
Open ControlsApril fools...
Open Controls
What to do: Silva for a hit or bring in Nasri instead without needing to take a hit?
1. Gerrard + Fonte > Silva + Azpi
2. Gerrard + Fonte + Parker (5th mid) > Silva + Demi + Ward Prowse
3. Gerrard + Fonte > Nasri + Demi
2FT 0.5 in the bank
Current Squad:
Mannone Marshall
Terry Coleman Fonte Ward Olsson
Toure Hazard Gerrard Mirallas Parker
Suarez Sturridge LukakuOpen ControlsI prefer the no hit and better defender
Open ControlsSorry A or C. But C will give you 2 DGW players.

Suarez & Sturridge, Yaya & Silva, Terry & Azpilicueta, Baines & Coleman. This is the year of the double up.
Open ControlsRamsey and Ozil early on!
Open ControlsCripes yeah. The people who were really in agony were those who owned Ozil who wanted to switch to Ramsey. I think that's how some of the doubling started...
Open Controls
I only have one of those double ups 🙂
Suarez
Yaya

Baines + Coleman 😀Open ControlsDifferential double up:
Bony + Michu 😎Open Controls
Hey friends, just wanted some opinions on who I should play this week.
Who misses out out of Lukaku (ARS) Delph (FUL) and AJ (tot)Open ControlsI'd bench Delph.
Open ControlsTough as Fulham are leaking goals.. I'd say AJ will probably get the least points out of those, but I think I'd still bench Delph.
Open ControlsIt's actually quite a hard one because Delph is in quality form, great differential, but the other two always run the risk of a big haul. I think it's gotta be Delph.
Open ControlsDelph's got a goal or assist in each of his last 3 games, finding it hard to bench him against Fulham. Might go AJ and just have to bank on AJ not doing anything. He did look good last night though
Open Controls
Bench Delph

Really wish I could stockpile 3 transfers. I'm totally stumped as to what I should do with one of my two free transfers. Feel free to offer your thoughts on my team or on the idea of saving up 3FT's as a new rule for FPL.
Adrian, Mannone
Ivan, Azpi, Baines, Ollson, Ward
Hazard, Yaya, Silva, Snoddy, AJ
Suarez, Sturridge, Lukaku
2FT's
$0Open ControlsDoesn't look like it needs much work.
Free up funds for Aguero if you want him?Open ControlsBut who would I sell though. I have the ultimate template team really, at the moment I'm waiting on Aguero news simply because I have no concrete options right now. Really wish I could save a 3rd transfer in time for the DGW next week.
Open ControlsWas thinking you could bring in someone for Olsson just to use a FT, like him --> Bardsley ( actually looked pretty attacking against West ham) . But you don't have enough cash!
Tough call though. Wouldn't be anyone I'd take out besides Ollsson.
Could do a very sideways Baines --> Coleman? Or ship Azpi? But I don't like either of those transfers.
Tough one 😆Open ControlsOh. And I'm probably shipping Sturridge this week for Eto/Benteke. If you're crazy enough 😆
Open Controls
I've got.pretty much the same front 6 and struggling with my 2 this week. Someone suggested yesterday about either taking a gamble.and removing Sturridge for someone like Carroll or tekkers, not sure myself.
Open Controls
You could free up funds by looking for a replacement for Snoddy, AJ, Sturridge.. You could downgrade one of your keepers to get an extra million, Mannone can start every game until the end of the season if you were so inclined..
Open ControlsHarper could be an option
Open ControlsYeah seeking funds seem to be my only option. I have considered selling AJ simply because I can't trust him to start and rely on him scoring from the bench. Mutch or even JWP (4m bench fodder) could be good options.
However AJ's form is a little hard to ignore right now so surely he will become a regular starter once again. and with the doubles coming up its a little hard to sell. I'd also like to hold onto Snoddy for another week as I'd start him this week ahead of AJ as AJ has the harder fixture.
I also won't be able to sell a GKer for much so have to rule that option out. Sturridge will go eventually but again, they have a good fixture this week.Open ControlsJust for the record, Benteke has a better fixture than Sturridge this week imo..
I think GW34 is going to be relatively quiet for AJ, yes he has 2 games, but he might now start both and even if he did, City at the Etihad doesn't count as much of a fixture and Everton won't be a pushover even at home either with them chasing 4th spot..
AJ -> 4.0 bench fodder could make next week a lot easier for you, especially if you're not playing AJ this week.Open ControlsIt is the option I have been considering. It does leave my 0.1 short of selling Sturridge for Aguero though which is galling 🙁
Open ControlsI guess that makes the keeper downgrade a viable option to make up the cash. Hmm, you've got me thinking.
Open ControlsDowngrading a keeper to a 3.9 could make the difference, I wouldn't leave the team alone and lose a FT though, they're too valuable when we're trying to squeeze as much value out as possible to fit in all the big guns.
Alternatively, there's always Oviedo in midfield for 3.9 to make up that 0.1 😉Open ControlsWard-Prowse at £4.0 could actually be a decent 5th mid cheapo?
Open Controls
Oh come on, Aguero I can kinda understand, but losing Sturridge for Benteke? Really?
Open ControlsIf he's shipping Sturridge out anyway, and he has a transfer going to waste, and Villa are playing Fulham, it could very easily work out?
There's probably more efficient ways of using the transfer, but its a good punt.Open Controls
If there really isn't a transfer you want to make then just don't make one, remember, if people are on the same number of overall points, then the one who has made less transfers is ranked lower. Could mean you're a couple of places better off come the end of the season 😉
Open Controls
General consensus on AJ?
I'd get rid if there was a decent replacement but can't see any.Open ControlsI'm going to downgrade him to a cheap bench fodder 5th mid like Ekreim or someone.
Don't care if he has 100 fixtures, he might only play 2/3 of them and he's not THAT potent.. Plus Sunderland are in bad form..Open ControlsI just cannot see how Poyet can justify leaving him on the bench against a toothless Spurs side. Spurs are ripe for the picking imo and an early goal from AJ could spur on (no pun intended) the Sunderland side.
Open ControlsThat pun was slightly intended... 😉
Its a mystery, maybe Poyet just doesn't think he'll work hard enough defensively but he's their best attacking outlet, seems strange to not play him.Open Controls
