Sunday focuses on the ambitions of the Merseyside pair, as Everton look to close in on fourth place with a win over Arsenal at Goodison, while Liverpool seek to extend their run of victories to nine by clawing back top spot with the points at West Ham.

Arsenal take on the Toffees having won just once in five matches, while Roberto Martinez’s outfit have five straight wins, putting them just four points behind the Gunners with a game in hand. Sunday’s clash is perfectly poised, then, with Fantasy managers looking to a host of Everton options ahead of their double Gameweek to come.

Later today, Luis Suarez will face up to a West Ham defence with the majority backing the Uruguayan with the armband. His potential haul looks pivotal to our Gameweek fortunes again, with the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Steven Gerrard providing an able supporting cast at the Boleyn Ground.

Our Twitter feed will bring you all the news from today’s teamsheets, while the Dugout Discussion chatroom is open to accompany you right through to the final whistle in East London.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Baines with the Third highest BPS scores for Everton right now, three more more BPS than any other defender. If this score-line remains throughout the 90 minutes Baines should get be on for 2 BAPS

Arsenal were nicely poised at Christmas to win the league, the perfect chance for Wenger to strengthen the team in January & win the league.

But instead he decided to buy one injured player that is average at best, now we are in danger of losing CL football (we'd get knocked out in the second round anyway) & finishing 5th in the league.

A direct result of Wenger's inaction.

In fairness though he has lost...

      Wilshite
      Ramsey
      Ozil (recently)
      And
      Walcott.

Not sure how the other teams would manage losing 4 players like that.

I think Walcott and Ramsey are the biggest losses, Wilshire seems to be injured most of the time so they had to count on that and Ozil was a bit off form lately.

Arsenal still has better matches ahead than Everton.

With Ramsey back, it can turnaround.

I do agree, they should have got some more players in the transfer window, if for nothing else then bolstering the squad.

Anyone else getting sick of Coleman?

Everton go hard down the left, Baines will cross as often as he can, get shots away etc. Coleman simply uses his forward runs to stretch the game but if he receives the ball he'll look short and give up the chance of a cross.

No disrespect to Everton but I hope arsenal get them selves together and nail that 4th position. Everton in champ league would be a waste of a spot, would like to see a team get it that would deff progress group stages and enhance prem leagues rep. With lukaku, deulofue and Barry back to clubs and unlikely to retain both Baines and Coleman, to many areas would need replaced with no money

Looking like Sturridge > Lukaku for the double I guess... No doubt he'll now blank like he did when I owned him for weeks earlier in the season.

Thank god for Lukaku is all I can say. Assumung SaS do something this afternoon as well, I might just about savage respectability from my worst game week to date.
Still trying to come to terms with bringing in Caulker of Azpi, I've run the same choice again 100 times i my head and I still don't know WTF I was thinking! 😉

The usual anti-Arsenal hysteria going on here today again I see. With the injuries they've had it's no wonder the poor results they've had.

Put Hazard, Oscar, Matic, Ramires and Terry in the treatment room and i'd love to see where they'd be right now.
Or Silva, Yaya, Kompany, Fernandinho and Nasri for Citeh.
Or Gerrard, Sterling, Coutinho, Agger, Studge for Pool
Or uhhh mmm.... ehh Fellaini, Cleverley, Valencia, Carrick and Vidic for United 😉

    Current team:

    Ruddy
    ZAB // COLMAN // WARD // Cahill
    Hazard // Lallana // YAYA
    Sturridge // Suarez // LUKAKU

    Bench: Davis, Barcuna, Collins, Mutch

    Best option for GW 34
    A) Sturridge + Mutch > Aguero + Barkley
    B) Lallana + Ruddy > Silva + Speroni

Does anyone know if Odemwingie will be ineligable when Stoke play Cardiff? It's a permanent transfer but sometimes there are still clauses that they can not play against old club?
