i think dzeko will get 120 mins at least. aguero could start the liverpool game with dzeko coming off the bench but dzeko will start at sunderland imo.

i think navas will be dropped though if aguero is fit to start and the 4-2-2-2 rolled out with aguero and dzeko

Smalling's last 10 scores (ignoring 4 weeks of injury):

        2, 6, 1, 9, 1, 1, 6, 6, 6, 7 = 4.5 ppg

        Zabaleta by comparison:
        1, 1, 2, 8, 6, 5, 6, 6, 2, 2 = 3.7 ppg

Smalling. Slight risk of rotation but Moyes seems to really like him. The only games he has missed since the start of November were through injury.

And United have been very strong defensively against middling to weak opposition. They totally fold against good attacks but they've only got one of those left.

              I'd look at Smalling.

Of course, I could be wrong about Moyes's preference, it might just have been luck the way injuries to Rafael and Evans always made room for Smalling.

Micah Richards: Perfect for Liverpool/Arsenal as they'd give him the position and I believe he'd flourish. The only downside of this is City would force him to sit out the final year of his contract rather than sell him to one of those two.

Any other decent destinations for him, or do I rate him too highly?

If you were 19 points off the top 1k would you:

    a) attempt to make up those 19 points for your first ever top 1k finish

    b) make the sensible transfers and finish in the top 5k for the 4th time

it should be noted that a) does not involve wild transfers but calculated gambles that *should* pay off.

Actually its not that easy, you can make a move that will 90% of the time get you 6 points or you can make a move that will 15% of the time get you something like 15 points. Which move do you make. FPL is always risk vs reward.

      a) - Could result in a big rank fall.

I say B, with the odd calculated risk.

actually this is more what Im suggesting. For example I believe that Silva over Hazard is probably a gamble worth taking because their points pg / per minute are very similar and Silva will have an extra 100 mins or so at least.

Depends if anyone is close in your mini leagues.
I'm in a similar situation (apart from the 4th time bit) and I'll probably take an 8 point hit this week.

To give you an example, I would only be 21 points behind my rival but at one point got Aguero early and had to take a -8 to get rid. As it stands I'm only 29 behind so most likely just gonna cover his Dzeko

Yeah. FPL killed me this year and then I decided to sweep it under the carpet. A lot less stressful.

CL I've given up on 5 years ago. i can't handle the shoddy website and the format over such a long period.

I have fond memories of the Maccy D WC during 2010 in South Africa so I'm looking forward to that again. The Euro U21 was also fun.

A good start is vital in this format. You need to come flying out of the blocks when the pool of players are large. Later on everyone has the same players and the chances of making up a deficit is nil.

So I have 12 players with DGWs this week, already made my subs.

    I need to play 2 out of 4 of these players, the other 9 pick themselves;

    Suarez Eriksen AJ Bardsley

Obviously the last two have doubles, but I can't see Sunderland picking up one CS and Bardsley if he gets booked will miss the 2nd game, so pretty sure am benching him for Suarez,

The question is Eriksen or AJ?
