Another double Gameweek is upon us in a weekend marked by FA Cup semi-finals and remembrance of those lost in the Hillsborough tragedy.

Saturday serves six afternoon encounters as an introduction to tomorrow’s potential title decider at Anfield between Liverpool and City. Fantasy managers will be focused on the double Gameweek assets on show at the Stadium of Light, as a seemingly doomed Sunderland host an Everton side flowing with confidence off the back of six straight wins.

Elsewhere, Palace play the first of their two matches in the Gameweek with struggling Villa the visitors to Selhurst Park, while Spurs will continue their unlikely campaign for fourth spot with a trip to relegation threatened West Brom. Southampton can go a long way to banishing Cardiff to the Championship via their St Mary’s clash, while Fulham and Norwich battle out a six-pointer at the Cottage. Finally, Stoke and Newcastle cosy up to mid-table safety at the Britannia.

Look to our Twitter feed for news of today’s teamsheets, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is available to those who fancy some real-time reactions.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I'm a phlegmatic Barkley owner. Risk/reward with him and so no complaints when it doesn't pay off. Like people who buy Kolorov and get angry 🙂

Exactly. You knew that already when you buy Barkley. For fecks sake, look at the watchlist and there is a warning of rest. Buy if you can handle the outcomes you cheapies. Or just be happy with Lukaku.

Same if you buy Mirallas, or buy Aguero before he has played a minute post injury and then he gets another one straight away etc.

            Basically don't moan whatever!

Kun to start and get subbed off after 65 minutes, then city earns a peno - FML !! (practicing for tomorow).
    Let's all sing together:

    When a peno gets called
Right when kun just got subbed
    That's a toure!

Number 4 and 6 in UFPL OR brought in as loans Mirallas-Silva-Lukaku, respectively Howard-Mirallas-Dzeko. I was 99% sure they have at least Aguero in there... Number 7 at least went aggresively with Aguero-Lambert-Eriksen for 4 weeks (!). That's a worry.

I had little choice. I was planning to play Noone, then he got injured so I planned to sell, then Hazard got injured and I didn't think a -8 was worth it as I can just sell him for Mata

Yeah not exactly much you could do there. Still plenty of time, his away form is considerably weaker but an assist or a goal could happen certainly.

I know, it's the corrosive effect of the way European competitions are structured.

I've wanted us to qualify for Europe every season but this year my patience with the Europa League has run out - you just have to look at Liverpool and Everton's seasons to see the debilitating effect it has. It gets you peanuts and the Thursday - Sunday thing kills you.

Probably sees it as a more defensive front 3 rather than the attacking of Mirallas and McGeady.

I'd say he'd rather play it safe here, being away, and rest a few players for the midweek home game
