We delve into the data once again this evening and assess some of the standout statistics over the weekend gone by. Arsenal’s fit-again midfielder, Chelsea’s Brazilian schemer, Sunderland, Swansea and West Ham’s frontmen, Palace’s defence and Everton’s raiding right-back are amongst our main topics this time around:

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

      Expensive bench. No need for good bench this late. jus focus on your starting 11.

      Boruc -> Davis
      Coleman -> Chester and play Cahill instead
      Barkley -> Amalfitano

      Shez -> Mannone
      Eriksen over Lallana but that's a preference.

      Ade can be Aguero with those savings.

    Please help RMT!! i am really tight in my minileague and need some advise!!

    mannone (dead)
    azp zabaleta baines olsson ward
    mata aj nasri salah llalana
    lukaku dzeko suarez

    i have around 3.5 ITB 0FT (as i did mirallas to mata)

    Question 1

    Play salah or llalana??

    Question 2

    a. lukaku --> rooney? -4
    b. llalana --> ramsey? -4
    c. dzeko --> aguero (but i will need another transfer to fund extra mil... maybe option b) -8

        no h2h to care about... but if i get aguero i won't be able to get rooney... not sure whos more importatnt... the extra -4 is also a turnoff

        salah or llalana if to play 1

      1. Lallana
      2. b for -4 can't be overlooked this week imo (and i'm a spurs fan)

      c is likely to be profitable than a, I would probably do Luk > Aguero if that gives the 1M needed and save the 4 points

        And anyway, since a January move, he has started 6 and come from bench in 9 matches. That's not as if he hadn't played. And has played pretty well too, imo. Have been watching PSG a lot this Spring and have been very unhappy with Verratti starting constantly despite being a huge liability. Well, recently Verratti has played significantly less, in fact not even appeared in a league match since March, so maybe Blanc isn't so conservative after all.

          Probably not, but it works two ways, you'd want to see that Nasri is fit and ready as well. It's "too late" to make an early transfer and ride the price changes, might as well wait now. Just two days.

      Can't see Silva playing - early prognosis 2-3 weeks.
      Even if they patched him up, he'd never play both games GW37, so getting Nasri in now would effectively give you another DGW player.
      Obviously, wait as late as poss on the transfer - you'd feel daft if Nasri took a knock in training

    TV is pretty low so I'd appreciate any thoughts on the following DGW team:

    Mannone
    Rosenior Zabaleta Ivanovic
    Ramsey Mata Nasri Amalfitano
    Rooney Suarez Aguero(C)

    Adrian Azpi Ward Livermore

    My only sensible way of getting Aguero in (without losing Suarez) is to get a DEF and MID for a total of 8.6m

    Is Rosenior and Amalfitano the best combo?
    Alternatively I could get Smalling and a 4.0 mid and play 4-3-3 Azpi against Norwich?

    Would you ditch Lukaku for Rooney for a hit? Considering to stick with Luk now and do it for free next week.

    Lukaku > Rooney (-4)

    Possibly captain Rooney.

    What do we think?

        Thing is, even if I leave it till next week it would still be for a hit as I will want to get another City player with Silva gone for Ramsey.

        Who are you captaining? Suarez?

    Points predictions for a couple of defenders this week:

    Azpi: 0-2 points
    Koscielny: 6-8 points

    A hit for Azpi > Kosc breaks even at worst, right? This line of reasoning is why I'm no good at this game 😆

        I don't see how the other part of the transfer is relevant. You could still do that one either with or without the defender hit. So, the hit for the defender is a separate decision.

        It isn't to fund any other transfer. It's just to get an Arsenal defender for their last three over a Chelsea defender for theirs. It won't happen without a hit because I only have two FTs left for the season and they're both spoken for 🙂

        I won't do it, BTW. I was just illustrating a line of reasoning I tend to use and why I rarely do well at FPL 😉
