As always on Friday lunchtime, we turn our attentions to PlayON, the weekly Fantasy Football game. Scouring the PlayON Price List for potential bargains, we back Arsenal and Man United to deliver the Fantasy returns ahead of some very favourable home games against out-of-sorts Newcastle and Norwich respectively:

This week PlayON have a £1,000 GUARANTEED game on offer – you can enter the game on the multiplayer page here.

PlayON are also giving FREE ENTRY into the £1,000 GUARANTEED game for all new sign-ups between now and 10.45 on Sat morning – no deposit needed. So if you know anyone who would like to try the PlayON game, why not let them know by sharing this article with them on Facebook or Twitter below.

If you’re new to PlayON, it is weekly Fantasy Football so you can dip in and out of playing throughout the season. Once your starting XI is built, you can compete for cash. You can challenge other players to one-on-one games, selecting the amount at stake. The likes of Robbie Fowler, Les Ferdinand and OptaJoe are all playing the game and are there to be challenged for free or for £1. The Fantasy Football Scout team is also available to be challenged and has a 51% win rate up to this point. You can also create an open challenge against anyone else on the site – just click the amount you want to play for and the number of slots (number of people who can accept your challenge) on the one-on-one page .

For a more in-depth introduction to PlayON, take a look at this season’s introduction article.

Goalkeeper – David De Gea
Priced at just 6.6m in this week’s PlayON Player Price List, the United number one looks a real value option between the posts ahead of a home encounter with struggling Norwich. Bearing in mind the Canaries have failed to score in three of their last four, the Red Devils could barely ask for a kinder first match in the post-David Moyes era, with Ryan Giggs’ side determined to turn on the style tomorrow evening after a series of uninspiring recent showings. City’s Joe Hart sets you back a mere 7.2m for a trip to Palace as Manuel Pellegrini’s side look for a vital win to keep their title aspirations on track, whilst Wojciech Szczesny is priced at just 8.9m for Arsenal’s home encounter with Newcastle.

Defender –Laurent Koscielny
Back in the starting line-up after recovering from a recent calf complaint, the Frenchman helped steer the Gunners to their fourteenth shut-out of the season last weekend. Available for 9.4m, Koscielny plays host to a Newcastle side that has scored just two goals in their last seven league fixtures on Monday evening. If you fancy a double-up option for United, outgoing skipper Nemanja Vidic will take up just 8.3m of your budget – the Serbian missed out with a headache last weekend but looks set to be re-installed to the starting line-up in one of his final few matches before leaving to join Inter. West Brom’s Billy Jones returned to the XI last time around, and priced at a mere 6.9m, hosts a West Ham side with just two goals to their name in the last three matches.

Midfielder – Mesut Ozil
Arsenal are overwhelming favourites for Monday’s home match and the German’s return hands us an intriguing budget option. Whilst Aaron Ramsey will no doubt receive plenty of interest, Ozil comes in at just 7.3m, and having returned from injury in last week’s win over Hull, could be instrumental as Arsene Wenger’s side look for the win that will keep their bid for a fourth-place finish firmly on track. Swansea’s Pablo Hernandez is priced at 7.9m for a vital home game against Aston Villa. With Michu ruled out through injury once again, his compatriot looks poised to be handed the role in “the hole” as Garry Monk’s side go in search of the win that may well clinch their top-flight survival. Sunderland’s Adam Johnson is a little more expensive at 9.8m. The Black Cats wide man welcomes Cardiff to the Stadium of Light, and if Gus Poyet’s side are to avoid the drop, a home win against the Bluebirds looks vital, with Johnson’s trickery from the flank pivotal to their prospects.

Forwards – Wayne Rooney
United may have toiled in recent weeks but their frontman has continued to deliver the Fantasy returns. Rooney has netted six times in his last seven appearances and, priced at 11.4m, is set to be unleashed against a Norwich defence that has shipped 12 goals in their last four road trips. Sergio Aguero remains relatively budget friendly at 11.1m. The Manchester City forward was amongst the goals in Monday’s win over West Brom, and if his side are to prevail at in-form Crystal Palace, Aguero’s predatory instincts in and around the box will surely play a major part. Daniel Sturridge looks set to recover from a hamstring problem in time for Liverpool’s crunch encounter with Chelsea. Available for 10.3m, Sturridge will be hoping to fire the goals that will take Liverpool one step closer to winning the league and send his former club tumbling out of the title race.

The 'convincing' reason is that Chelsea are playing a 'weaker' side and obviously the fact that it's Suarez and Liverpool want to seal the title. I'd still captain Rooney though.

Stuge (i think) is back and with Sterling possibly at the point of the diamond he will be pushed wide. Rooney will either lead the line or be in the pivot, having a greater chance of points. plus NOR are rubbish and Chelsea will probably play 6-7 back in defence

True but it seems that S&S start wider and come in, e\which is where Stuge has been better and Suarez stays wide and tries to gain an assist, or flop over in the box looking for a pen

Cahill + Lukaku > Alonso + Rooney worth a -8? Bear in mind that it allows for Yaya over Demi next week and also gives 8 DGWers instead of 6.

I'm quite a conservative FPL manager though, that's why. That said, the few hits I've done all season have accounted for my 2 highest GW ranks (both < 2,000). Usually works more in DGWs though.

Nasri was unlucky to get points last week wondering If to get him in over Yaya who's now off pens (still good free kicks though)?

Would prefer Yaya if money isn't an issue. Might be a week early though.

Palace will be tough. It'd be good to see him get some minutes under his belt to see if the injury will affect his performance/minutes in the DGW.

Actually I'm doing exactly the same thing.
I really want Yaya, but I'll let Silva rot on my bench this week and play Mutch.
If Yaya stays fit for the double, I'll get him next week.

Because I think Giggs will start a very attacking team which will be hungry to impress and Januzaj will be part of it. Just my opinion though.

Something telling me to just do it.

Either is a diff over the main rival I'm trying to catch just thinking Januzaj could do something vs Norwich.

pellegrini should look up the definition of 'fit' in the dictionary because Im pretty sure he has a different one to that of the city physios. Silva was passed fit to play against west brom and look what happened. he cant be trusted and im not touching ya ya with a barge pole. Kun is enough to worry about as it is

With Yaya back, how likely do people think it is he will play in the hole behind Aguero? With Garcia and Fernandinho in behind, I'm a dzeko owner but see this as the more likely lineup than the 4-4-2
