As always on Friday lunchtime, we turn our attentions to PlayON, the weekly Fantasy Football game. Scouring the PlayON Price List for potential bargains, we back Arsenal and Man United to deliver the Fantasy returns ahead of some very favourable home games against out-of-sorts Newcastle and Norwich respectively:

This week PlayON have a £1,000 GUARANTEED game on offer – you can enter the game on the multiplayer page here.

PlayON are also giving FREE ENTRY into the £1,000 GUARANTEED game for all new sign-ups between now and 10.45 on Sat morning – no deposit needed. So if you know anyone who would like to try the PlayON game, why not let them know by sharing this article with them on Facebook or Twitter below.

If you’re new to PlayON, it is weekly Fantasy Football so you can dip in and out of playing throughout the season. Once your starting XI is built, you can compete for cash. You can challenge other players to one-on-one games, selecting the amount at stake. The likes of Robbie Fowler, Les Ferdinand and OptaJoe are all playing the game and are there to be challenged for free or for £1. The Fantasy Football Scout team is also available to be challenged and has a 51% win rate up to this point. You can also create an open challenge against anyone else on the site – just click the amount you want to play for and the number of slots (number of people who can accept your challenge) on the one-on-one page .

For a more in-depth introduction to PlayON, take a look at this season’s introduction article.

Goalkeeper – David De Gea
Priced at just 6.6m in this week’s PlayON Player Price List, the United number one looks a real value option between the posts ahead of a home encounter with struggling Norwich. Bearing in mind the Canaries have failed to score in three of their last four, the Red Devils could barely ask for a kinder first match in the post-David Moyes era, with Ryan Giggs’ side determined to turn on the style tomorrow evening after a series of uninspiring recent showings. City’s Joe Hart sets you back a mere 7.2m for a trip to Palace as Manuel Pellegrini’s side look for a vital win to keep their title aspirations on track, whilst Wojciech Szczesny is priced at just 8.9m for Arsenal’s home encounter with Newcastle.

Defender –Laurent Koscielny
Back in the starting line-up after recovering from a recent calf complaint, the Frenchman helped steer the Gunners to their fourteenth shut-out of the season last weekend. Available for 9.4m, Koscielny plays host to a Newcastle side that has scored just two goals in their last seven league fixtures on Monday evening. If you fancy a double-up option for United, outgoing skipper Nemanja Vidic will take up just 8.3m of your budget – the Serbian missed out with a headache last weekend but looks set to be re-installed to the starting line-up in one of his final few matches before leaving to join Inter. West Brom’s Billy Jones returned to the XI last time around, and priced at a mere 6.9m, hosts a West Ham side with just two goals to their name in the last three matches.

Midfielder – Mesut Ozil
Arsenal are overwhelming favourites for Monday’s home match and the German’s return hands us an intriguing budget option. Whilst Aaron Ramsey will no doubt receive plenty of interest, Ozil comes in at just 7.3m, and having returned from injury in last week’s win over Hull, could be instrumental as Arsene Wenger’s side look for the win that will keep their bid for a fourth-place finish firmly on track. Swansea’s Pablo Hernandez is priced at 7.9m for a vital home game against Aston Villa. With Michu ruled out through injury once again, his compatriot looks poised to be handed the role in “the hole” as Garry Monk’s side go in search of the win that may well clinch their top-flight survival. Sunderland’s Adam Johnson is a little more expensive at 9.8m. The Black Cats wide man welcomes Cardiff to the Stadium of Light, and if Gus Poyet’s side are to avoid the drop, a home win against the Bluebirds looks vital, with Johnson’s trickery from the flank pivotal to their prospects.

Forwards – Wayne Rooney
United may have toiled in recent weeks but their frontman has continued to deliver the Fantasy returns. Rooney has netted six times in his last seven appearances and, priced at 11.4m, is set to be unleashed against a Norwich defence that has shipped 12 goals in their last four road trips. Sergio Aguero remains relatively budget friendly at 11.1m. The Manchester City forward was amongst the goals in Monday’s win over West Brom, and if his side are to prevail at in-form Crystal Palace, Aguero’s predatory instincts in and around the box will surely play a major part. Daniel Sturridge looks set to recover from a hamstring problem in time for Liverpool’s crunch encounter with Chelsea. Available for 10.3m, Sturridge will be hoping to fire the goals that will take Liverpool one step closer to winning the league and send his former club tumbling out of the title race.

Is Van Persie fit? Just got a "I've made a huge mistake"-feeling that I should've gone persie instead of rooney after watching those training photos

Don’t know where all this mourinho hate is coming from! A man who has been through so much in life and achieved so much should be championed not slagged off. Suppose that’s what comes with success, jealous and hatred!

I'm currently 20 or so points behind in my private leave. But I have momentum.

I currently have a front line of: Suarez, Lukaku and Aguero.

In the midfield I have Silva - not sure when he will be back and playing 90 mins.

    So my choices are:

    A. Lukaku + Silva - OUT, and bring in Rooney and a 6.9m or less midfielder (Eriksen). This would be a 4 point hit and my rival has both Rooney and Eriksen.

    B. Lukaku OUT, Podolski IN. A differential plus I take no hit and wait it out for Silva?
