Sergio Aguero is back in City’s squad for Sunday’s home game with West Ham. Wayne Rooney is almost certain to miss out for United again, with Phil Jones sidelined due to a shoulder complaint. John Terry, Frank Lampard and Samuel Eto’o seem set to skip Chelsea’s trip to Cardiff, Gus Poyet hints at making changes for Sunderland’s home clash with Swansea, Allan McGregor and Paul McShane could return for Hull, whilst Tim Sherwood has a number of injuries to contend with for Tottenham’s game against Villa:

Sergio Aguero is back in the City squad for Sunday’s home game against West Ham. Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed he has a fully-fit squad for the Etihad clash as he looks for the win which would secure the title.

Roberto Martinez is optimistic that both Steven Pienaar and on-loan forward Lacina Traore will be back in the Everton squad for Sunday’s trip to Hull after the duo returned to first-team training earlier this week. Darron Gibson is also in training for the Toffees but Martinez reckons the midfielder is unlikely to make it.

Gus Poyet has admitted he will make some alterations to the Sunderland XI for the weekend home clash against Swansea. The Black Cats boss reckons “maybe two, three or four” players deserve a start after failing to feature in recent matches. Reports in the local press suggest Lee Cattermole and Seb Larsson have both struggled with knocks in recent matches and could be amongst those rested.

Ryan Giggs has conceded Sunday’s trip to St Mary’s is “probably a little bit too quick” for Wayne Rooney to return for United. Phil Jones is definitely out, though, after being forced off with a shoulder problem in midweek.

Stoke’s on-loan winger Oussama Assaidi is unlikely to make Sunday’s derby trip to the Hawthorns after suffering a setback in training, according to Mark Hughes. Potters skipper Ryan Shawcross returns after serving a one-match suspension.

Frank Lampard (illness), Samuel Eto’o and John Terry are all major doubts for Chelsea’s trip to Cardiff – assessing the trio’s chances of featuring, Jose Mourinho admitted “normally all of them are out” in his lunchtime press conference.

Etienne Capoue is back in contention for Tottenham’s home game with Villa, though Tim Sherwood must make do without the services of Moussa Dembele, Nacer Chadli, Erik Lamela, Kyle Walker, Jan Vertonghen, Andros Townsend and the suspended Younes Kaboul as he looks to clinch Europa League qualification.

Steve Bruce is optimistic that Allan McGregor and Paul McShane could be back for Hull’s home game against Everton, while Sone Aluko is also closing in on return from a hamstring issue.

Gabby Agbonlahor is back in contention for Villa’s trip to Spurs after missing out against City in midweek. Marc Albrighton remains “touch and go” with a groin injury, Paul Lambert has revealed.

Liam Ridgewell is back in full training and could return for West Brom against Stoke, whilst the club’s official website has confirmed Morgan Amalfitano was rested in midweek and is expected to return. Right-back pair Billy Jones and Steven Reid are out, whilst Jonas Olsson has fully recovered from the knock that forced him out of the starting XI against the Black Cats.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of Sunday’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

After 37 Gameweeks, the following is the breakdown of the Bonus Points awarded:

    Total Games: 370
Total Bonus Pts: 2654 Average : 7.2 points awarded per game

    Goalkeepers:152 (5.7%)
    Defenders: 928 (35.0%)
    Midfielders: 864 (32.6%)
    Forwards: 710 (26.8%)

40.7% of Bonus shared between Goalkeepers and Defenders. 59.4% shared between Midfielders & Forwards.

While the share of Baps is definitely shared out very evenly between all areas, there are a few anomalies - Centre backs overly favoured vis a vis Full backs...............probably due to full backs giving the ball away more often given the nature of their position, and of course, the "Defensive" Midfielder has no real chance of bonus points.

Tweaking definitely required for next year IMO, but a reasonable start for the new system and has definitely forced FPL players to look at the centre back area - Mertsacker/Cahill/Terry/Koscielny etc......1 or 2 are essential and there is a fascinating quandary where we must decide to go for the strong CB's for 3 Baps or stick with the Coleman/Baines type for goals/assists.

forwards being less than mids really surprised me, even if there are less of them.
i guess another area where defenders win is there must be more ties in defence where for example 3 different defenders can get 2bps. thin there was an infamous crystal palace match where about 7 players got bonus

In some teams, there will be only 1 "forward" (eg Liverpool when Sturridge is injured) selected, and you could have 4 or even 5 "midfielders".

Granville made a good point re that Palace game that maybe there should be a minimum no. of BPS points scored in order to qualify for Bonus and in some games, maybe the full 3, 3, 1 may not be awarded. Probablt better than having 3, 3,3,3,3,3, like that Palace game

yeah, think he also said unless you reach a minimum figure you shouldn't get any bonus, something like 8bps on the current system.
an alternative is stretch out the bp scoring so players reach higher bps numbers, in theory leading to less ties

Hmm, if Aguero plays you should be best off going for Sturridge, but I'm wondering the same thing..

If Mutch isn't playing (??) you might want to trade Mutch for Eriksen for the money you get from Rooney-sale and bench Ramsey, but also here I have the same dilemma:p

    Your biggest regret.
Ok, a lot of us kicked ourselves in the first half of the season for being too stubborn to get Ramsey and Yaya, but taking those two out, who have you regretted not owning this season?
Mine is Sterling, the reason I'm 2nd in my mini league.

Maybe Sterling, but I'm up 42 pts in ML. Probably has to be Coleman, never owned him and would've helped to begin the season. I also didn't get into Yaya till very late, but still reaped the rewards.

Aguero in and straight out for -4 due to early transfer on the cash limit.
Then getting him back in for Dzeko and missing out on so many points this week.

No idea. Think Mannone will play, but would be the unexpected surprise, if we're talking in general. Think Johnson probably will. If Larsson doesn't start, which is looking likely, then AJ has a good chance, along with Giaccherini
