        Very true. Think there going to be very few bargain cb's with the city, chelsea and arsenal might have to start looking on the flanks but azpi showed that left and right backs just dont get bonus points.

It was a good game last night. athletico almost held on, but they were ultimately outclassed. Think the scoreline doesn't really do them justice. But, Di Maria and Marcelllo were the only ones who got out of 2nd gear. Money 1, Passion 0.

  Looks good but I'm not sure how well Balo will do in a tough group. Brazil also have a DGW in GW1 (as do Mexico) but they have a blank in GW2 so maybe you're doing the right thing not loading up on them.

        Yep. Brazil players > Russia players is a popular tactic after Brazils second game, and since Russia play last you can make better use of your initial team and get the Russians in towards the end of the GW. This game is gonna take a lot of planning to do well in! 🙂

        Brazils 2nd game is before the Russia v Korea game, so you can transfer out your Brazil players after their second game for a Russian/Korean and get points for both players. Hopefully that makes sense...

      I don't think anyone would pay that much when the likes of Chelsea and city defenders are the same and arsenal likely the same too. He needs to be priced at a level where people might go for him rather than the alternatives as a bit of a gamble imo

        Agree but if Spurs had a decent set of opening fixtures under a new manager and say FPL priced him at 6 , he may be worth a shout .
        Being realistic all this talk is speculative untill fixtures are released and FPL open up the shop - but we dream to give ourselves hope !

        Yeah don't get me wrong I really want him (possibly instead of a big mid even) so I hope he is 6m. It will as you say depend on the manager and fixtures though

  6 I am hoping due to spurs finish last season, they were potentially a top 4 challengers last before last season whereas now they are only a top 6 challenging team and if the likes of arsenal Liverpool Everton Newcastle etc defenders have a ceiling of 6m he should be the same
