The wait is over. The World Cup kicks off with the host nation, Brazil, facing up to regular dark horses, Croatia.

The tournament favourites lineup as expected, with the likes of David Luiz, Oscar and Paulinho the familiar names alongside Neymar – the Barcelona starlet sports the armband for Fantasy managers far and wide this evening.

The Croatians have the talent to ensure that tonight’s opener will be a cracker, although the loss of striker Mario Mandžukić to suspension for their first group match is a major blow. Hull City’s Nikica Jelavic leads the line for European side, while Šime Vrsaljko is perhaps the surprise inclusion in their lineup as Danijel Pranjić drops to the bench to make way.

Brazil: Julio Cesar, Dani Alves, Thiago Silva, Luiz, Marcelo, Paulinho, Gustavo, Hulk, Oscar, Neymar, Fred.

Croatia: Pletikosa, Srna, Corluka, Lovren, Vrsaljko, Modric, Rakitic, Perisic, Kovacic, Olic, Jelavic.

FANTASY ITEAM QUESTION

It appears that In fantasy iteam Brazil have 2 games in gw1. I currently have neymar but was going to swap him for messi before the Argentina game so I get scores from both.

Does anyone know if I will still get the points for neymar in his 2nd game even though he isn't in my team anymore?

        Yeah I've seen below that apparently Ron is injured. Have to wait and see on that. With 10.7 burning a hole though we can swap messi for anyone before going back to neymar again

        Players need to be in your iTeam 10 minutes before kick off to register for points. So, he would have to be transferred back in, and yes, he would score double points in the 2nd game if you did this.

I have an app called 'the score' and it gives you quick update news. They sent me a message on my phone that Ronaldo was injured about 20 mins prior to deadline. I suggest you download the app, very good.
