We’re looking for more of the same in this evening’s trio of fixtures after last night’s matches served up 10 goals. The first match on our agenda sees Colombia take on Greece, with many Fantasy managers looking to James Rodriguez and Juan Cuadrado to make the difference for the South Americans:

Colombia: Ospina; Armero, Zapata, Yepes, Zúñiga; Rodríguez, Aguilar, Sánchez, Cuadrado; Ibarbo, Gutiérrez.

Greece: Karnezis; Holebas, Papastathopoulos, Manolas, Torosidis; Maniatis, Katsouranis, Kone; Samaras, Gekas, Salpingidis.

In the absence of the injured Radamel Falcao, the Colombian’s start with Teofilo Gutierrez in attack, with Jackson Martínez, Adrián Ramos and Carlos Bacca kept in reserve on the bench. Meanwhile, the Greeks are without defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos due to a muscle injury and opt to leave Fulham’s hitman, Kostas Mitroglou, benched with Theofanis Gekas set to lead the line.

After the dust settles on the early kick-off, we move onto Group D at 8pm. Luis Suarez will be hoping to feature against underdogs Costa Rica as he bids to recover from minor knee surgery, while fellow forward Edinson Cavani looks a real under the radar options for Oscar Tabarez’ side, with a comfortable victory expected.

The late kick-off sees Roy Hodgson’s England begin their campaign with a testing clash against the Italians. Wayne Rooney is expected to retain his place alongside Daniel Sturridge after some disappointing friendly displays, while Danny Welbeck could well get the nod ahead of Raheem Sterling on the flank after recovering from injury. Despite an array of attacking options, the Three Lions’ prospects may well depend on their ability to nullify the creativity of Andrea Pirlo in the centre of the park.

It is a long shot but is anyone in Istanbul and knows a good place to watch the World Cup games? Especially Englands?

    Thanks 🙂

North Shields bar in Gulhane. It is on the corner of Ebussuud Street. So if you are walking down from Sultanahmet continue past Topkapı Palace and the road will bend to the right, then walk another 100 mtrs and you'll see the pub on the corner.

Out of curiosity, for those living in countries where they had FIFA fan fest in 2010, do they have it again this year? In Paris they took it down, which is why I ask.

I don't get what you mean.

Anyway, I did 'em just before kick off. The Greeks are now in my team but they have 0 points by 'em. That means I cocked up massively, doesn't it?

I think it wored actually. I have 3 Greeks and JRod and they are all in my team, with them all on 0 points at present. JRod was in it ages ago, and they are all the same, so must have worked. Sweet.

Since there's no downvote button, I'll risk saying this. I like the strategy element of the McDonalds game. It a nice change of pace having to decide to stick or twist.

    Interface still sucks though.
