I just worry that he in particular might struggle firstly with extra attention from opposition defenders, an secondly from the added games. He is very young, and Liverpool seem to have able replacements after their spending.

Im a big fan of Lallana, and I would consider him if he gets nailed on in the team. I like Coutinho as a player as well, but as an FPL player Im not so sure. Liverpool are a bit of a minefield in midield with all their new signings. (Markovic, Can, Lallana, Lucas back)

That's probably what I would go for, mainly because Silva has burnt me so many times. I just think back to that inocuous challenge last season where Silva was barely touched, and he was stretchered off.
Personally, Im looking like going without Man City all together, they seem to have goals from everywhere, and i just refuse to touch Aguero any more.

My biggest dilemma at the moment is the second big hitting striker

Costa is in. But the second spot I'm not sure of

No interest in aguero , van persie or Sturridge

Rooney currently pencilled in but I really don't like him. Fixtures compelling though. Guess pre season training will give more clues.

But Rooney might not play, might be on the wing, and frankly I dont like him. RvP is very expensive, and he hasnt played like a 12.5m player for about 18 months now.

Lets not forget Man U were shit last season, and LvG outside the first few games was rarely getting many goals for Holland. Take away Robben, what was impressive from LvG?

No player is a must (although suarez was as close as we have seen). Rvp if he hits the form from a couple of years ago will have to be seriously considered but he has not even hinted he can do that anymore either last season or in the world cup (so can't just blame Moyes tactics).

RvP was subbed off numerous times at the world cup because he was so shit. Offside more than he was onside. Scored a great header against Spain, meh for the rest of the tourny.

If I was going to spend 12m on a striker who is injury prone, Id spend it on the better player, in the better team, Aguero.

All of this talk of azpillicueta being at threat - i can say these threats are false.
Living with two huge chelsea fans as brothers they keep saying that Ivanovic is terrible at right back and his cross success rate is so poor that he offers nothing offensively. When asked about how azpillicueta could contribute more than branny down the right they were quick to mention that when dave was playing on the left he very infrequently pushed beyond hazard on the left wing, but on the few occasions he played right back he was the one holding the natural width on that flank. When asked what they think will be the back 4 they said:

    Azpillicueta - Chaill - Terry - Luis

    Sorted.

      Azpillicueta - (Cahill - Ivan - Terry) - Luis.

Azpi and Luis are great LB and RB. I think with terry getting old and zouma being too young, ivan with with switch to his natural position CB and cahill-ivan-terry will be rotated for the season.

      Agree, his fixtures are terrible.

If you've got a Stoke defender though, he covers their bad fixtures in the first 10 GWs nicely. It's an unevenly balanced rotation - mostly you'll play your Stoke def - but it works.

My only point on that is that Ward at 0.5 more offers much more points potential that Mariappa.

Decent team, Pelle is a risk but you must trust him to throw him in already.

Not mad about your defence though, Terry could be rotated with Ivanovic and Zouma, especially if Azpil makes RB his own again with Luis at LB.
Vlaar had a fantastic world cup at the heart of a back 5 in a defensive team that had a Kuyt, different story at Villa.
O'Shea and Upson are both ancient at this stage and could easily not have the legs to play every single week.
