Ronald Koeman moved into the transfer for the second time last week by acquiring striker Graziano Pelle from former club Feyenoord on a three-year contract. The 28-year-old teams up with the Dutchman for the third time in his career, having also worked under his guidance at AZ Alkmaar, and his arrival hands the Saints a very prolific replacement for the departed Rickie Lambert:

Discussing his move with the club’s official site, Pelle admitted he didn’t need persuading to join the Koeman revolution for the season ahead:

“I had some teams interested in me, but this is going to be the best choice for me because the club wants to keep improving every year. The talks between us were only short in terms of how long it took to convince each other. I was pretty sure that, for me, this would be a great step. [Ronald] Koeman and I worked together for two amazing years at Feyenoord, and I hope that it will be the same here.”

The History

A product of the Lecce youth system, the Italian made his debut in back in January 2004. Pelle was unable to make any impact, though, and managed just 12 goalless appearances over three years at the club – loaned out to lower league Catania on three occasions over that period, he notched 16 times in 69 appearances.

In July 2007, Pelle left his native country to sign for Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar. Spending four years in the Eredivisie, he struggled to make any real impact and netted only 14 times in 78 league outings before moving back to Italy with Parma. His toils continued, with a single goal in 12 appearances prompting loan stints at Sampdoria (four goals in 16 league games) and a first year under Koeman at Feyenoord, where he served up an excellent 29 goals and nine assists in 33 matches over 2012/13.

Midway through that loan spell with Feyenoord, Pelle signed a four-year deal with the Dutch outfit and officially joined on a permanent deal in the summer of 2013. Once again, he served up the goals for Koeman’s side, with 26 goals and six assists in 33 appearances across all competitions – indeed, over his two years with Feyenoord, an average of 0.88 goals per game was third around Europe, with only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo more prolific.

The Prospects

Earlier in the summer, the doubters were circling after Southampton lost their former manager and three key players but Koeman’s knowledge of the Dutch top-flight has quickly pacified Saints fans and Fantasy managers alike.

The acquisition of playmaker Dusan Tadic (16 goals and 14 assists last season) in addition to Pelle certainly suggests that Koeman has added real quality to the squad and more than atoned for the departure of Lallana and Lambert. Discussing his new forward with the club’s official website, the Dutchman summed up Pelle’s best qualities:

“I had Graziano in my team for my last two years at Feyenoord. He scored a lot of goals – more than 50 in two seasons – and they brought a lot of points to the club. Goals mean points, and we needed a good player in that position after Rickie Lambert left. In terms of his qualities, he’s a tall striker with a lot of movement and he’s fast. He’s a player who gives confidence to the team because he keeps the ball, and he’s very dangerous in front of goal. He’s almost 29 years old, so he brings a little bit of experience to a young team.”

Although the rebuilding is coming along nicely, the Saints new boys may need time to acclimatise to their new environment. Luckily, the transition has been made easier by a superb opening schedule which many may find hard to resist as we start to assemble our squads for the season ahead. Koeman’s side face just two of last term’s top eight in their opening 12 fixtures, with their first six home games seeing West Brom, Newcastle, QPR, Sunderland, Stoke and Leicester all make their way to St Mary’s.

Coming in at just 7.5 in FPL and 7.4 in the Sky Sports Fantasy Football game, Pelle has been reasonably priced for the campaign ahead. An eighth place finish last time around under Mauricio Pochettino – albeit impressive – ensures the club have no European fixtures to contend with, making rotation unnecessary and first-team starts assured. Furthermore, Lambert’s departure should ensure the Italian is handed spot-kicks and if he can even come close to replicating his previous displays under Koeman, that opening run of matches has the potential to richly reward those willing to invest.

I’m researching how people relate with their work superiors and how it can influence their career satisfaction for my Masters dissertation. I really need some more male participants (I’ve found that women are way more likely to help out!) – So if you could spare a few minutes to fill my study out I would appreciate it. @Zonal_Marking on Pelle and Tadic:

On paper, they could be seen as replacements for Lambert and Lallana. Tadic looks set to develop into an excellent player but Pelle is more of a risk – Eredivisie goalscoring tallies don’t always translate successfully in the Premier League. Besides, Pelle’s goalscoring record was incredibly mediocre until the last two seasons, and at 29 he might have peaked already. It’s also worth remembering the quality of Lambert’s link play, which encouraged midfielders forward into attack. Pelle might not have that ability.

Makes alot of sense. My immediate thought looking at Tadic's style of play and set piece threat was that he could be much better for FPL. If I was to punt on one I think Tadic would get my vote.

Probably quite harsh, but Cabella has to play somewhere and with Pardew saying he'll be playing De Jong behind the striker and his constant insistence on the right most fans are pretty sure we'll set up like this. Sissoko did have a pretty good WC to be fair on him.

We're in for another striker too so Riviere could well make way dependant on who comes in.

[Lost on bottom of last page - On Sturridge & Suarez]

Last season, Rodgers had to accommodate both players, when Suarez played alone up top he was incredible however Sturridge only played up top on his own at the start of the season, when we were still getting into the swing of things and weren't showing devastating attacking form.

Next season, Sturridge will be the focal point of the attack and it's likely he'll score even more goals. Bare in mind, that Suarez only provided 5 assists for Sturridge last season, the same amount that Sturridge provided for Suarez.

People are kidding themselves if they think Sturridge is going to go to rot without Suarez. He's the main man now, he scored 20+ goals last season and will have a point to prove - whether or not he can fill Suarez's boots.

He's a must have player, which is why I'm glad that I've seen him so few times in people's RMTs. Suarez is gone, but Rodgers is still here, which means goals by the truck load. Don't get our defenders! But I'd strongly recommend getting Sturridge.

We'll almost definitely play 4-3-3, we won't have to tinker with the system to fit in two strikers.

So it will most likely be Lallana and Coutinho sharing game time as the most attacking midfielder in the midfield three. With Henderson alongside and Gerrard deepest. Or Lallana playing on either side of the striker in the attacking three.

Either way, he will have more than enough opportunities to get greater points than last season. Wouldn't be surprised if he got double figures in goals and assists. However he's the same price as Sterling, who I think could get double double figures in goals and assists too, especially if he carries on progressing as he did last season.

However, I think Sterling and Lallana will both be rotated and rested every now and then. With champions league football and the increase in squad size, it is necessary and expectant. The value is in Sturridge, no doubt about it.

I agree with you and Sturridge was the first name on my team sheet too.

I do wonder if we're looking through red tinted glasses though!

Remember, Sturridge is made of glass and with the extra games to play this season, I can see him being substituted even earlier than he normally is.

That's the worry, he's not as injury prone as Aguero, but he always seems to miss a month or two every season. Good point that a few people have made is that last season he didn't have a pre-season, and was rushed back due to the Suarez ban.

Hopefully with a proper rest and pre-season under his belt, his fitness over the course of the season should be better. Hopefully we'll sign someone like Remy who can provide good back-up too and is a natural replacement in the team.

Are you looking to play Mannone every week?

Defence is weak, Rose, Cameron and Chambers are not guaranteed as well Debuchy is a card magnet + Arsenals opening fixtures aren't fantastic so can't see many clean sheets to begin with

Like the midfield but don't know how LVG will use Mata and Albrighton might not start

Forwards are good but with Sanchez and a congested Arsenal midfield I think Giroud will be on the bench a fair bit this year (although he is in my team at present as can't seem to think of anyone better in his price range)

    Swansea FPL guide.
I haven't written anything like this before so take it or leave it, hopefully it'll be helpful to someone.

    Background.
Michael Laudrup was sacked and Garry Monk was appointed manager. There have been several reports of unrest amongst a few players since that happened (Michu, Pozuelo, Cañas, Pablo Hernandez). Michu and Hernandez have already moved on while Pozuelo and Cañas have been frozen out since Monk took charge and neither have travelled to the pre-season camp in Chicago.

So far this summer Monk has signed Gomis, Emnes, Fabianski and young full back Stephen Kingsley.

    Upcoming season.
Monk's preferred line up last season was:
    Vorm
    Rangel Williams Chico Davies
    Britton Shelvey
    Dyer De Guzman Routledge
    Bony

Fabianski will challenge Vorm's position this season.
    Rangel nailed.
    Williams nailed.
Chico/Amat/Bartley all have a chance of partnering Williams.
Neil Taylor nailed after Davies leaves.
Britton and Shelvey are more than likely to start most games but Ki could provide competition for them if he stays next season.
Dyer and Routledge are first choice wingers but Emnes can play wide and will challenge their positions next season(and possibly Ecuadorian winger Jefferson Montero if he signs).
De Guzman is currently a Villareal player.
Bony may be on his way out too.

    FPL.
I can't see much value in the defence in terms of FPL. There is little attacking threat and we only kept 1 clean sheet in our last 13 games last season. Neil Taylor(4.5) is an option as a cheap rotational defender if(when) Ben Davies moves on to Spurs or Liverpool.

Britton(4.5) started every PL game under Monk except for on the last day of the season when we were already safe. He is a favourite of Monk's but very rarely gets forward. He is an almost guaranteed 2/3 points off the bench when needed.

Shelvey(5.5) actually had better stats than Ross Barkley last season. They both scored 6 goals, however Shelvey created 7 goals compared to Barkley's 4 goals. He could offer a cheap option in midfield if he starts scoring points more consistently this season.

Marvin Emnes(5.0) is someone to keep an eye on IF he nails down a starting place behind the striker. He scored a goal and created 3 in just 139 minutes last season which earned him a permanent move.

Wilfried Bony(8.5) is an obvious candidate in FPL teams but speculation looms large over where he will play next season so I personally would steer clear until that is cleared up.

Other than that you could take a punt on Gomis(7.0) if Bony leaves. It remains to be seen how they could play together in Swansea's 4-2-3-1 system if Bony stays.

Very helpful to the unacquainted. Appreciate your effort.

If Bony stays, and presuming Gomis is nailed on, can you see a potential point spread in attacking returns that may nullify Bony a bit?

I don't think Bony would perform at his highest level with a strike partner but there are still very few goalscorers in the team so I can still see him scoring goals.

Thank you! This season should be easier in my opinion. Last season we had lots of injuries and Europe wasn't very helpful either.

you dont rate dyer as a pick then ? he did really well at the beginning of the season before he got injured, seemingly nailed on although u say this emnes guy could threaten his place or play in the hole? so emnes could play any position behind the striker is what im understanding from your breakdown? Thanks for this great post! This is really helpful to me ... I have had my eyes on swans midfielder since the end of last season , i really think there could be great vaalue to be found there and a potential early season bandwagon given monks scoring record and their openinig fixtures.

If Jefferson Montero signs, which is looking quite likely, then Routledge and/or Dyer will be dropped/rotated. Right now though yes Dyer is nailed.
Yes Emnes is versatile he plays up front, as a second striker and occasionally on the wing - I wouldn't say he is nailed though, just one to keep an eye on.

It's possible. He played there a couple of times under Monk and did quite well. Keep an eye on Swansea's signings because we currently have just two players who can play in the hole(Emnes and Shelvey) and we're quite short on more defensive central midfielders too. The signings we make will tell you a lot about where Shelvey could be deployed

    FPL VERY KEY STATISTICS

I think I might have created the most useful pre-season spreadsheet EVER!

Forget your "big chances" and your "recovered balls" this focuses on what we really care about:

    - How many FPL points does my player get each time he counts towards my score?
    and
    - How much of my budget does he eat up?

So, I have looked at points per appearance (FPL doesn't care if they start or how many minutes they play) and value for money based on that and price.

I have highlighted the best results, covering most of the popular options in each category of mid / fwd. Note that Fabregas is based on his last full FPL season and Siggy is based on his season at Swansea.

    See what you think...

Based on last season's teams and performances, and after analysing the current PL squads, these are the nailed on 4.5 defenders in FPL this season (and their positions).

    Aston Villa:
    Vlaar - CB

    Burnley:
    Shackell - CB
    Mee* - LB

    Crystal Palace
    Mariappa* - RB

    Hull:
    Chester* - CB
    Figueroa* - CB/LB

    Leicester:
    Morgan - CB
    De Laet - RB
    Konchesky* - LB

    Newcastle:
    Coloccini - CB
    Santon** - LB

    QPR:
    Simpson - RB

    Southampton :
    Chambers* - RB

    Sunderland:
    O'Shea - CB
    Brown - CB
    Jones - RB

    WBA:
    Pocognoli - LB

    * = Nailed on currently, but will be under threat by new signings.
    ** = Currently injured

    Note:
    - 1 or 2 of Baker/Clark/Okore/Senderos will play depending on Villa's formation.
    - 1 of Dunne/Onouha/Hill is likely to partner Ferdinand and Caulker (not a done deal yet) as -- Redknapp has said he's going with 3 CBs.
    - 1 of Williamson/Yanga-Mbiwa/Taylor will partner Coloccini at CB for Newcastle. Taylor is just 4.0m but seems the most unlikely to be a starter. Janmaat will be Newcastle's RB this season, and if he comes in at 4.5 he'd be good value for an attacking fullback.
    - Cameron and Wilson are both versatile (can play as a CB, RB, LB or CM) and could find themselves in the starting 11 (most likely at CM, or RB/CM in Cameron's case).
    - Taylor will be Swansea's LB if Davies moves as rumoured.

Played with 3 CB's in the fa cup final, he was dropped. I'm not sure you can say he's currently nailed on, if it's dependent on whether they play 3 or 4 at the back. A few hull fans said he was one of their weakest players last season, if it means anything too. Also several of his starts were when Chester/Davies were out through injury/suspension

And tbh, yes most people do think they know these thinks. How many people think Arteta shouldn't be playing? Same goes for Fellaini. Why didn't Scolari play Willian more? Etc etc

Arteta has been as good as can be with his skill set, Fellaini was also highly regarded before the last season. Willian did not do anything good while he was on the pitch, why would he get a starting role?

I actually posted on this yesterday telling people to forget Kagawa as I think his time is up.

Valencia at 6.0 is a far more interesting option I feel if LvG can get him back to his form of 2 years ago.

Kagawa only ever played 1,5 seasons in Dortmund. And he never was the best player of the league. And he never outshone 3 years younger Götze, let alone Lewandowski. He mostly just tapped in the easy chances that he got from Lewandowski, Kuba and fellows.

Immensely overhyped for basically just one good season at top level by the age of 23. And then bought as a playmaker to a dominant team, when he made his name as a scoring support striker for a counter attacking one. A bad transfer from the beginning.

Ok, forget the "who was better" thing, but you can't deny he had two excellent seasons for the german champions. Since then, I agree he hasn't performed well enough.

He only had 1,5 seasons. Let's start with that. he could not have had 2 good seasons, since the first season he didn't play for one half of it. And yes, he played well, but just how well he played has been largely exaggerated, and how did he play well is often misunderstood.

He was very useful in the Dortmund game plan that was/is based on moving the ball up fast with few one touch passes, but he also profited largely from that game and himself created relatively few scoring chances: 1.6/match, is not great for second highest player on the pitch for a team that created immensely a lot of chances back then. For comparison, it would have been tied 25th in Bundesliga this season.

It has always been a huge mistake to think of him as a CAM, a creative midfield maestro, leading the game, let alone a great one. He is a very good, scoring support striker, with intelligent movement, excellent technique and hunch for a scoring chance. Basically a poacher lurking behind the target man. At his best in Dortmund he often had less than 30 touches/match. In ManU, he sees way more ball, he has to play way slower.

In short, Kagawa is a very good player in his trade, but it is wrong to say he would ever have been a top of the world player, and he will never be a dominating maestro à la Hazard that many though he would be.

And yet Klopp, who also trained with him every day, said it was criminal that he was being used as a winger. As for a chance at the CAM position, was that when he scored a hattrick? Pretty sure it was.

His biggest failing is that he is very slight which does not bode well for him in the PL but he rarely gets a chance of multiple games as a CAM where he is (absolutely undoubtedly) his very best. In fact, I firmly believe that Fergie would have sold Rooney and played Kagawa CAM with RVP up top.

I'm not saying he's been great at all, he hasn't but it's hard to cast off a brilliant CAM when at Dortmund as a shit player because most of his chances to play are on the wing. My take on it anyways.

dude get out of your shell, he has had 1 great game i 2 Seasons. He is not good enough to play at this level. Playing on the wing is not an excuse, his control was average his shooting was abysmal, his passing was mostly intercepted, i have not seen him at dortmund, but since he came to england he has been average

Firmly out of my shell thanks, I'm saying exactly how it is. He's had bad games and he's had decent games, all on the wing. When at CAM (the very rare occasion) he has been good. But he won't get better if he doesn't play there, he'll improve on the wing a little but he's not a great winger (at least not a PL styled winger) and even then his gametime will be inconsistent. Passing has been okay when I've seen him, no more intercepted than any other players, control once again no worse than most, shooting very rare he even gets a shot.

I think Shinji is a perfect case of a great player moving to the wrong club. We just didnt need him in the position he is best at playing (even more so once we signed Mata).

Had we sold Rooney (and not bought Mata) then I don't think we'd have such a low opinion of him. He was awesome for Dortmund in the hole

Fantasy Football Scout daily hot topic

With the FPL game now launched what are your key dilemmas regarding player selection.

Is it the wealth of choice in Arsenal midfield to consider?

Perhaps it is which is Stoke's midfielders to invest in?

RVP or Rooney could be a season defining move. Which are you going for?

Which is your key FPL player selection dilemma and what choice have you made?

Knowing which players are nailed is obviously a prime concern. I wouldn't look past Ramsay as we know he'll deliver.
STK are a red herring and I'm really surprised folk are considering their mids. Too risky and unreliable with no obvious FPL form to back them up.
Rooney: RVP will be probably left for first games.

The three forwards is probably the biggest dilemna right now. I can buy Rooney but the other two slots could be anyone. Remy, Barndoor, Studge and Bony are all possibilities.

I think Ramsey is good cover for Sanchez...but ultimately I think Sanchez would be great to get in. One for when team value has improved perhaps?

I think Sturridge is with Suarez gone...all attacking play will end with him and he's very selfish in front of goal.

I think Fabregas is...but his price is really helpful. If he's not we'll know after two to three games so is easy to get another 9m- 8m ish option. Well worth the small risk.

my biggest problem is that I have doubts about ALL the expensive strikers:

Sturridge...Suarez made loads of his goals and also tied defenders in knots leaving space elsewhere...some new team mates...and some rotation with Lambert possible?

      Aguero...always injured...nasty fixtures

Van Persie...expensive for an over-the-hill striker who doesn't even try hard half the time...he's just had a 12 month holiday so maybe he can be great for one more season but Utd won't win the league so can you see him being too bothered

Rooney...reverse OOP?...playing deep?...rotation issues...he doesn't have the discipline to play in midfield...will Van Gaal play 2 up top?...I doubt it

Costa...will cost ya...he might be a cracking choice but then again he might still be injured and might need time to settle

I much prefer the expensive midfielders to the expensive forwards

I've got several so far. Obviously these will change aout 4567897657820 times before I settle.

Which Arsenal player(s) to choose. Currently struggling to afford Sanchez and another, but really fancy Sanchez and Giroud.

Fabregas. He is leading the way, but only if Chelsea are playing a 4-3-3 with him as the most advanced midfielder aka Lampard mk2.

Rooney or RVP. Dependant on when RVP returns, and if he looks sharp. Also if LVG uses 2 at the top, Rooney may be the more sensible choice if he can prove his worth.

Right just going to leave this little analysis of Sturridge stats with/without Suarez here for people to make their own minds up on. First of all, all stats are taken from ESPN FC so it's possible that their definition of an assist or a goal may not exactly line up with FPL's (a deflected assist, an own goal etc.) Second, sample size for Sturridge without Suarez is small as we know and it's important to keep that in mind. Finally, I'm not including baps or minutes, simply looking at returns from attack play in FPL points. Anyways, down to business.

      Sturridge Without Suarez.

      5 games: 4 goals, 0 assists, 15 shots.

Or in FPL terms, 3.2 points per game from attacking returns and 3 shots per game (conversion rate of 26.67%).

      Sturridge With Suarez

      24 games: 17 goals, 7 assists, 84 shots.

Or in FPL terms, 3.7 points per game from attacking returns and 3.5 shots per game (conversion rate of 20.2%)

So in general we see (once again I have to stress the small sample size) that Sturridge's only improved attribute was his finishing when Suarez was not present and this, arguably, is the one attribute that is least effected by Suarez's presence (unless he's trying to have a nibble on him while he takes a shot 😉 ) The common theory on here is that Sturridge won't share as many chances with Suarez now but, as we can see here, that the figures at least suggest that Sturridge actually had more shots per game with Suarez. Of course without Suarez his assist potential is clearly damaged, that may be from direct assisting of Suarez as well as the style of play Liverpool used when Suarez was present allowing for a greater assist chance from Sturridge to other players. Finally, while not shown here (as I don't have the data) Suarez no doubt contributed a number of assists to Sturridge. Of course whether this will be remedied by Lallana and Markovic (or other players) has yet to be seen.

Nowhere am I saying he'll go to rot but my entire point with these stats is that saying he'll score even more goals this season is a bit erroneous. It appears that some forget how Suarez's presence even changed how flowing the team played in attack, without him they tended to score a goal and shut up shop.

I'm not saying he won't do well, I have every reason to believe he will, but with new faces, no Suarez, CL fatigue and a pricetag of £11.5 million, I don't rate him as must have currently.

        As I see it:

On the whole, defenders won't be getting any baps unless its 0-0 or 1-0, or they have an attacking contribution. So on that basis go for the cheapest/most attacking threat.

In 0-0 and 1-0s full backs are now pretty even in general, so neither has a bias I'd say. So again, just pick the cheapest.

I was looking forward to AVL/WBA pair of defenders at 9.0, but a little research made me realise how horribly bad and thin the West Brom squad is, the serious relegation contenders they are .

Saw a phone tapped conversation in which Ukrainian separatists admit to shooting it down to one another. Awful tragedy, far be it from me to criticise flight planning but why were they flying over a war zone?

No idea. Most other airlines have decided not to fly anywhere near the war zone so I'm shocked at why Malaysian Airlines didn't do that as well. Such a sad tragedy.

There is a 29.8m clause on Reus contract that will increase to 45m in Jan 2015.

I think it is highly unlikely but not 0% as you stated earlier.

        Isco is being actively pursued.

I can say because I've already read his exact words.

"I can definitely say that I will play for Dortmund next season," he is quoted as telling Kicker. "I don't have to keep stressing how well I feel here.

"After playing 10 years in the youth here I had to go a step back via Ahlen and Monchengladbach to make two steps forward.

"Now I am back in Dortmund and – again – I feel totally well here and have a contract until 2017."

0%, irrespective of the release clause the value of which has only ever been speculated. Think of it like this, if Marco Reus is going for 30 million why are people not killing each other to sign him? Added to that he's already said he'll be a Dortmund player next season.

As for Isco, I've heard nothing on that so I can neither agree or disagree with you.

Sorry Roy 🙠Genuinely I would like to see your boys getting a really top notch talent because a) it would rekindle my appeal in Pool going all out attack this season and therefore make Sturridge more appealing to me in FPL and more importantly b) I do believe them to be a massive club that really should be in the top 4 most years. Would rather Pool there than Chelsea.

Yeah, it's critical they get one "marquee" signed. Look at the difference the Ozil signing made to Arsenal fans mentality and whole squad was lifted after a bad start.

I agree with you. It's a tough region to be in really, there's no consistent CL to offer big players yet (that would come after 2 or 3 seasons finishing in the top 4 and losing Suarez, while increasing funds, possibly dents appeal to those looking at Pool as a possible club to join.

It's conversely why United are still okay at the moment as they've not gone consistently without CL, just one season. If they miss out this season and the following season, big trouble lies ahead. But I agree, it's very important especially for the younger guys like Sterling to get a big player that can boost them like Suarez did.

😆 If you can get Pogba, Vidal, Reus and Benzema to Liverpool with £75M combined, you deserve a title just for that.

Liverpool team is starting to look pretty good:

Mignolet (or Courtois, they might fit him to that £75M too)
          GJ-Skrtel-Sakho-Enrique
          Vidal-Pogba
          Lallana
          Benzema-Sturridge-Reus

Bit top heavy, should invest some more on defence.

Lads, there are 3 players I'm flirting with getting into my team:

      - Tadic
      - de Jong
      - Shelvey

Now all these 3 have difficult first GW fixtures. So, I'm considering getting Mirallas in (7.5) for the first game vs Leicester, and then shipping out for one of the above, after watching each game and critically analysing them, as all three players have great runs from GW 2 onwards.

I know this comes under 'Planning my first transfer' which a no-no for some players. But what do you think of the preliminary plan?

It's a decent plan, but you may struggle to properly evaluate a player if their team has so little play. De Jong may be great this season, but I can't see him showing anything against Man city for example.

I personally wouldn't plan a GW1 transfer, but each to their own.
