Fantasy Football Scout are delighted to announce that last season’s winners of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) and Ultimate Fantasy Premier League (UFPL) – Tom Fenley and Alex Bowers (gavigan) – will be joining our ranks of contributors for the 2014/15 campaign.

Tom and Alex will be writing exclusively for Fantasy Football Scout, providing input to a number of articles over the pre-season to help guide your FPL and UFPL strategies. We’ve also got a few new ideas for regulars next season, with the pair hopefully chipping in with their knowledge and experience along the way.

Things are set to kick off this week, with Tom bringing us a two-part guide to using the Members Area, while Alex’s Ultimate Fantasy Premier League strategy guide is also scheduled for an airing.

Ok I need some help. I have 1.0 in the bank and I have this:

Speroni / Myhill

Cameron / Shaw / Davies / 4.0 / 4.0

Snodgrass / Sigurdsson / Sánchez / Hazard / 4.5

Rooney / Dzeko / Diego Costa

I would love to be able to get Mata for Snodgrass, but I can't find a way to fit him in.

Also, I need at least 1.0 in the bank to get Sturridge on GW4.

Any suggestions?

    That's interesting, i was wondering which of those would be questioned. I suppose the question is will ramsey and ings get more than perhaps siggurdson and dzeko. I don't think there's many strikers i really like. Everyone here is writing off ings and for that price i won't..championship player of the year, 26 goals in 45 games, if he gets 15 goals it's worth it. Lambert got 15 in his first season in the premier league, albeit with free kicks and penalties, but at an older age. Ings is 22, he can cope with the pace better.

    I actually thought ramsey might have been priced at 10m...honestly i think he was the best player in the league before suarez started scoring. Remember Ozil was priced at 10m all based on expectation, if ramsey doesn't get injured he will be amazing. Scored against big sides, came back after long injury and scored a fantastic volley in one of the last games of the season, score for arsenal in the fa cup final. He is essential for me. He will be priced at 11m by christmas i think. Look at his stats, 10 goals, 9 assists in 19 games.

        one thing I do not like is the modernization of the collar in that the seam drops down a few inches below the coming together of the fabric for the collar itself..so it's nonfunctional but sticks out..know what I mean? the United away and 3rd are the same design as the France home from the WC

  eriksen on set pieces, can deliver the best crosses in the league, sterling will have his big games where he's man of the match, but not as often as he will need to for that price.
