He's over-hyped. Shelvey out-performed him last year in similar minutes and is 5.5

last season la liga and this time playing for chelsea. Yes i'm a chelsea fan.

Pelle's current projections in RMT are warped somewhat but a lack of options in their squad. Goals have to allocated somewhere - Pelle is a big fish in a small pond in RMT terms, whereas there are plenty of goals to be shared amongst the current Chelsea squad.

Pelle's projections will come down as Koeman adds to his squad. Having said that, he will carry the burden of scoring for the Saints and their opening run is very favourable.

I'd imagine it's a function of him being so prolific in Holland, playing under a manager who really rates him, being a guaranteed starter & on penalties, and all of that combined with the best set of fixtures (on paper) of all teams.

I wouldn't be gambling on him personally though, too much of an unknown quantity to give him a precious slot in my front 7.

Last week pelle was in loads of rmt's, in hardly any recently, has anything changed?!

I'm not sure how it's calculated (I'm neither a member nor familiar with the 'RMT' function) but to hazard a guess: Pelle has been on fire the last two seasons, mustering up that much-repeated stat of being the third deadliest striker in Europe after Messi and Ronaldo. He also has great fixtures to start off with after the trip to Anfield. I doubt that he could replicate his form in the BPL but perhaps RMT thinks he can. Other than that it's puzzling indeed - Costa is proven in La Liga and is looking sharp pre-season and would surely be expected to edge Pelle by quite a margin.

Going for Fabregas instead of Costa is so much more fun I feel. The 1.5m allows better balance elsewhere & there's something good about having 2x Chelsea midfielders, it looks so wrong on paper, but I think it will make sense in the long run 🙂

Fabregas is a machine when it comes to fantasy points scoring.

Plus, if you triple Hazard/Fab up with a Chelski GK/Def, you're looking @ 6 points per Chelsea CS - everyones a winner 🙂

Luis - is a gamble, no one can safely say he'll start. But if he does - he'll be super.
Evans - could be very good come to think of it, was developing a genuine goal threat the last few seasons... but I have a sneaky feeling he may not be nailed on. Could be wrong
BDavies - I've had him in all along until yesterday when Pochettino threw Danny Rose in for him, then I remembered how much Poch used to like rotating Clyne/Shaw/Chambers last year... he may do same w/Davies & I don't want the hassle.
