With so many of you seeking advice on their teams before August 16, we thought it would be prudent to run a daily community article to provide a dedicated focus for “Rate My Team” (RMT) requests.

Each day ahead of the new season, we’ll select one of the Fantasy Football Scout team and post up their own RMT request to open up discussion and encourage others to post their own. We’ll turn the comments over to you to provide a useful place for those seeking advice and highlight some of the key decisions under deliberation.

Please nudge those posting RMTs in other articles to visit this daily RMT article. Also, when posting requests, please remember to be courteous to those who take the time to help out. Equally, if you’re an experienced Fantasy manager with some views on initial line-ups, take time out to dip in and contribute – the Fantasy Football Scout team will be doing their upmost to offer their feedback as the discussion develops throughout the day.

For today’s final RMT discussion we’ve managed to grab Mark’s current lineup…

So Mark has currently ditched the Bojan/Sigurdsson rotation and opted for three big-hitters up front. He’s turned down the option of Jovetic and backed Arsenal with three players, despite a testing opening to their season. He’s spent on goal threat at the back with Ivanovic, Caulker and Curtis Davies, whilst he’s banking on Ashley Young to help compensate for the loss of Juan Mata.

Hi Lads, anybody feel like rating my team?

Begovic (Howard)
Terry Lovren Chambers (Blackett, O'Shea)
Mutch Mata Couts Ramsey (Brady).

I was seriously debating sterling for couts and fabergas for mata and while week one seems as though I've made the wrong choice I reckon couts will come good and could be a little bit of a differential as most choose sterling.

As for mata/fabergas, I think mata represents the main creator for utd and everything will have to go through him, with a few fixtures that should be kind to utd (although can't really say that anymore) I think he could notch the assists.

I had a plan to have 2 good keepers and when one is playing a big team and expecting to concede, swap in the other who is preferably playing a weak team. The problem is that I was ina rush and didn't compare fixtures so I need to tweak this.

I reckon blackett will get a bit more game time as he was comfortable looking and Rojo still hasnt't arrived from Sporting Lisbon. Cheap and hopefully his price will rise.

Sorry for writing an essay!! Please give your opinions.

Made a few changes, as I had to get Fabregas into my team, and not prepared to jump ship on Mata just yet...

New team:

Guzan (Foster)
Terry - Lovren - Chambers (Hutton - Wisdom)
Mata - Fabregas - Ramsey - Sterling (Marney)
Rooney - Costa - Berahino

Nervous about the lack of depth, but still am debating further butchering of my defence to get Sigurdsson in for Marney. Would probably involve downgrading Lovren to Kelly (which I'm fine with) and Terry to another 4.5M defender (which I'm not fine with!)

Thoughts lads?
