Sunday presents two further Premier League encounters with a variety of Fantasy heavy-hitters on show.

Events begin at Anfield, with Liverpool starting life without Luis Suarez with an encounter against a Southampton side ravaged by a summer exodus. It’s a fascinating scenario that’s set to feature an-all start case of assets, including Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling – players burdened by big Fantasy ownership and expectation. The Saints, meanwhile, arrive on Merseyside looking to gel quickly after a flurry of new arrivals under the guidance of new boss, Ronald Koeman.

The day concludes at St James’ Park, as Newcastle host champions City. Manuel Pellegrini will likely field a much-changed side to the XI that suffered a Community Shield reverse against Arsenal. Even so, Fantasy investment in the City ranks has been tempered, with Yaya Toure remaining the top target, finding his way into 20% of Fantasy Premier League squads. Like Southampton, Newcastle present us with an array of new signings to assess, making Sunday a vital opportunity to scout talent.

    Still sticking with my original plan of transferring out Sturridge to Costa after GW1. Studge not playing central enough for an 11.5m striker. On another note, JWP has been outstanding today and looks the best value for a 5th cheapie mid.

    Tadic looks lively. Ward Prowse looks good and Wanyama is solid as always. Unsure about Pelle but theyll be fine this season.

        It's hard to take but I haven't done too badly still and usually start very badly and generally get better later. Sooo many points on the bench though!!
