Sunday presents two further Premier League encounters with a variety of Fantasy heavy-hitters on show.

Events begin at Anfield, with Liverpool starting life without Luis Suarez with an encounter against a Southampton side ravaged by a summer exodus. It’s a fascinating scenario that’s set to feature an-all start case of assets, including Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling – players burdened by big Fantasy ownership and expectation. The Saints, meanwhile, arrive on Merseyside looking to gel quickly after a flurry of new arrivals under the guidance of new boss, Ronald Koeman.

The day concludes at St James’ Park, as Newcastle host champions City. Manuel Pellegrini will likely field a much-changed side to the XI that suffered a Community Shield reverse against Arsenal. Even so, Fantasy investment in the City ranks has been tempered, with Yaya Toure remaining the top target, finding his way into 20% of Fantasy Premier League squads. Like Southampton, Newcastle present us with an array of new signings to assess, making Sunday a vital opportunity to scout talent.

    Think Sterling / Henderson are worth it even with their next 2 tough away games? They'd get a price rise if Liverpool won today..

        I'd get Siggy in, he'll definitely rise and he's a good punt, could be the essential mid priced mid (the next 'Michu') if he plays like he did yesterday.

        Young looked very defensive yesterday as well..

        I think young is going to prove to be a fairly worthless punt for all of us. best return will probably be 3 points if united can manage some CS against the weaker sides before players return from injury.

    If you made 3 transfers, for example, giving you -8, if you then wildcarded the next day because you wanted to make more changes would the -8 be removed?

        Stick, in my opinion. You can't judge the first two months based on one poor game. I expect LVG to make some changes and things to pick up very quickly.

        I have him and I'm pretty confident he'll pick it up.
