The final match of Gameweek 1 arrives this evening as promoted Burnley prepare for the visit of Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea. The Blues are heavily backed heading into this one, with both Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas currently sitting in more than 20% of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) teams, while up front, summer signing Diego Costa will be looking to grab the goals and strengthen his armband credentials ahead of next week’s home encounter with Leicester:

Certainly, the stage is set for Costa to deliver after a disappointing series of displays from a number of forwards over the weekend, where only one (Saido Berahino) managed double-figure returns.

At the back, Jose Mourinho opts for Thibaut Courtois between the sticks, with Petr Cech relegated to the Blues’ bench. The Chelsea manager keeps faith with the familiar defence that earned 18 shut-outs last term, with new boy Filipe Luis amongst the substitutes.

    Chelsea looking awesome... they really aren't they had the best fixture what ever team they played this weekend. Why? well it's all to do with the kickoff time they get to play in cool weather while the rest actually played in sunny weather. It makes their performance look better then it really is.

    I think without disrespect, we should remember Chelsea are playing Burnley a team that cost £6mil, that's the team not the ball boys.
    Maybe wait until they meet some of the mid-table sides to see exactly how good they all are.
    I'm sure they're very good, but beating Burnley alone isn't going to win you the Premier League.
