Seems as though the cheap defenders have done very well this week.
Usually my initial team selection would be a little lopsided with me favouring attacking players, but this year I decide it might be a decent idea to spend £12m on Terry(best defence in the league) & Jones(amazing opening fixtures), after how much talk there was of defenders being really high scorers last season.
One week in and I'm already contemplating downgrading them in the near future to fund moves for attacking players.Open Controls
I would look at this situation after 3 gw minimum. Will give you a better idea rather than just the 1 gw. By all means I would be considering it too but you need to see the team pan out properly over 3 gw's at least to see how the pattern of scoring is going,

Step 5: Realise that there are a LOT of options in midfield from a lot of other sides so the pressure to jump on wagons is less
Step 6: log off fpl and go to sleep
